I didn't watch it, it looks like a play of Ghost Hunters. Ghost Hunters is better. A) There professionals(if i spelt that right). The Othersiders are just a bunch of kids. But i did not watch it, so im not sure how much of an opinion that actually is.
Whats your opinion?

I didn't see enough of it to have a real opinion, but I did see the end of the show where they showed their main evidence for declaring the place haunted and regardless of how many times they tried to replicate it, it still just looks like someone running past an infrared camera.
So I think they probably need a more analytical stance in their investigations.

Okay, take this from a ghost hunter. And a ghost hunter lover! I watched the show, and they ended up calling a piece of dust an orb. And said that a place was haunted over one evp and a moving chair rolleyes . They also set up their equipment in the dark. Sorry, but it's just a bunch of kids, that don't know what the ******** they're doing.
And they're going to get cut off (soon I hope). Because I mean, what the hell?! It's just kids, they don't know what the ******** they're doing!
Sorry, I had to rant ):

although their approach is hauntingly familiar of every ghost hunter type show and falls short of the scientific approach , I still find it admirable they are able to at least form a group to get together and dive into the world of the unknown...

I watched only a few minutes of the show, so I don't have enough to go by in way of opinion.
From what I saw... most of the equipment / techniques they used were typical of all the other shows like Paranormal State and Ghost Hunters. There wasn't anything new in that area at all, so I doubt that they have a better understanding of hauntings compared to the rest of the groups out there. x_x;
I have to give them props for their effort though. Most people, even adults, are easily frightened whenever even the slightest phenomena occurs at a haunting. Moving objects / unexplained heat or sound / etc. I don't think they're the type to start screaming and clutching at each other or running away as easily. I'm sure that by the time they're adults they'll be decent at investigating... and I'm sure once the ratings for the show start plunging, they'll start making adjustments to how they do the investigating. >_>; All for the better I suppose.

I haven't watched it either, but Ghost Hunters is still probably better.

omg, i watched the first episode and it sucked...they spazed over a moving chair...they thought an orb was just dust (so an orb) and when they asked for a sign...they got a big smash and they spazed...they weren't even near the noise, plus, the camera work was hard to follow...i'd say it's an epic fail, no, not even...fail with a ph...phail!!!!!!
