Juno: *Carefully making her way through the woods, her ears wildly flicking as she listens to the different sounds.*

Eir: *looking around on the edge of the woods, uncertain about anything around her, it all being new*

Juno: *Comes to a stop, her ears perking right up when she senses another presence near by. Sniffs at the air before cautiously following the scent*

Eir: *ear twitches as she hears someone coming, and looks straight at Juno, not being able to see more than a black mass* W-who're you?

Juno: *Stops several feet away from Eir, wanting space between her and the stranger* I am Juno

Eir: O-oh... *calms a little when she can see her a little more clearly, though still not very well* N-Nice to meet you...

Juno: *Tilts her head while wondering if she's making the other Namir nervous* It is nice you as well miss?

Eir: The pleasure is all mine... *shifts in place*

Juno: *Wonders if the girl does not want to give her name, decides not to press* Am I making you uncomfortable miss?

Eir: No, it's not you. I'm just not used to being alone...

Juno: Oh? Do you normally have a companion?

Eir: Just my foster mom and dad.

Juno: *Tilts her head* This is your first time away from your parents?

Eir: *nods* I just recently moved out

Juno: *Sits, her tail wrapping around her paws* Do you miss being at home?

Eir: *nods* Yes, I do...

Juno: *Smiles a little* As do I. I too just recently left home. It has been...very quiet

Eir: Yes, it has. And it's very unpredictable out here... *looks around* And I can't hardly see, so that doesn't help...

Juno: *One ear perks at that* Yes, having little or no sight can be very troublesome, but you will adapt with time

Eir: *Nods* I've learned my hearing is better than most... Wait, how do you know that? o.O

Juno: *Smiles a little* Because I am blind

Eir: Really? *stands up and walks until she's about a foot away* Oh, you are. Why are your eyes sewn shut?

Juno: I was born this way, it is a trait that I have been told I got from my mom

Eir: Oh. Do you ever wish you could see?

Juno: Yes, I'd to be able to know what colors look like

Eir: I wish I could explain them to you

Juno: That is a nice thought, thank you, but I have long since accepted my lack of sight

Eir: I would have hoped as such...

Juno: *Tilts her head* Will you tell me your name miss?

Eir: Oh, I'm sorry for not telling you. It's Eir

Juno: A nice name *"Looks" around* Would you like to join me for my walk

Eir: Sure, that sounds nice

Juno: *Smiles before standing* Do you live around here?

Eir: *stands as well* Actually, I don't know where I am truthfully

Juno: *Frowns* You are lost?

Eir: *laughs hesitantly before nodding* Yeah

Juno: Would you like help finding your way home?

Eir: You would help me? I would be so grateful

Juno: *Nods* If I can, then I will. Can you describe where you live? The scents and sounds?

Eir: Well, it's on the edge of a forest, right next to a pond. There are always a bunch of namrah running around, and the smell of something delicious being made in the kitchen.

Juno: *Face scrunches up as she scans her memory* I've never been to such a place before, but I have come across a couple of ponds

Eir: Maybe one of those is it? It doesn't really matter if I get home or not tonight truthfully...

Juno: Why would you say that? *Ears turn every which way* This way *Starts heading back from the way she came*

Eir: Because my parents don't care if I am there or not. They did not tell me that I had to be at home tonight so... *follows her* Okay...

Juno: *Frowns* They don't care if you're home or not? Is that because you are an adult now?

Eir: Yeah, now I'm in charge of my life or something

Juno: Do you still live with them though?

Eir: Yeah

Juno: *Weaves her way through the trees with practiced ease, her steps cautious* From the sound of it, you live with other Namrah as well?

Eir: *follows after, nearly hitting the trees at times* Yeah, there are a lot of us there

Juno: What is that like?

Eir: Sometimes its fun, other times it's troublesome

Juno: Do you ever get any peace and quiet?

Eir: Every once in a while

Juno: *Comes to a stop and "looks" every which way* I do not think I could live like that

Eir: You grow used to it.

Juno: *Picks a direction and starts walking again* I suppose one would, if they grew up around those conditions

Eir: Yeah

Juno: A benefit must be that you never get lonely there?

Eir: *laughs* Yeah, can't get lonely there

Juno: *Smiles at the laugh* Are there any interesting characters there that stand out from the rest?

Eir: Not really, they are all interesting

Juno: Never lacking for conversation then?

Eir: Never. *laughs*

Juno: That's good. I think that is the only thing that makes me miss living with my family, having someone to talk with

Juno: *Sitting at the bottom of a hill, practicing her singing* Think of me, think of me fondly, when we've said goodbye. Remember me once in a while - please promise me you'll try.

Eir: *wandering around, ear twitches when she hears singing and almost blindly walks towards it*

Juno: *Voices hitches when she hits a high note. Sighs* I need more practice

Eir: *ear twitches at the higher note, and turns to look towards where it came from. As she nears she begins to recognize a black figure*

Juno: *Ears perk when she senses someone else approaching* Who is there?

Eir: *cocks her head* Is that you Juno?

Juno: Yes, it is I *Tilts her head slightly* Eir?

Eir: *smiles a little* Yeah, it's me, Eir. *sits down* So, was it you singing?

Juno: It is a song from "Phantom of the Opera," it is called Think of Me

Eir: Really? *thinks* What is "Phantom of the Opera?"

Juno: From what I understand, it is a play of sorts. Operas generally concern music, and tell a story

Eir: Oh, that sounds interesting

Juno: I enjoy the music from it *Smiles a little* How are you today Eir?

Eir: That's good. I am doing well, thanks for asking. What about you?

Juno: I am doing well, enjoying the peace of the night

Eir: Yeah, I prefer the night to the daytime.

Juno: That is something we have in common then *Turns her head to face the sky* It's so much quieter, and not so hot

Eir: *nods* And it takes some of the strain off of my eyes

Juno: Does the light bother your eyes?

Eir: It just makes them want to focus, and that gives me a headache. When it is night, they accept that I am not going to be able to see.

Juno: Is your sight any better at night?

Eir: I don't think so, I haven't ever really tried to notice a difference

Juno: Alright *Turns her head in every which direction* I feel like going swimming, would you like to join me?

Eir: *perks up some* Sure, that sounds fun.

Juno: *Sniffs at the air before standing. Stretches like a cat before walking in the direction of the pond* There is a pond in this direction

Eir: *twitches her ears some* Okay. *follows the sounds of her footsteps*

Juno: *Humms softly as she weaves her way through the trees* We are here *Stops by the water*

Eir: *Follows, and stops about a yard away from Juno* We are? *Listens to the water life sounds, such as a rustling of cattails and a splash of water*

Juno: Yes *Tilts her head at all the sounds before feeling forward, sighing as her paw finds water* The water feels nice

Eir: *walks to about where she heard the paw hit the water, and places her own paw down, into it. closes her eyes and nods* It does.

Juno: *Carefully steps further into the water, practically purring at the coolness* After a hot day, this feels very nice *Sucks in air before dunking under the surface*

Eir: *walks in behind her, cautious so as not to slip* It does feel nice. *smiles*

Juno: *Resurfaces and shakes her head* Do you swim often, since you live by a pond?

Eir: *sits in the shallow part, and shakes her head* No, not very often

Juno: May I ask, why is that?

Eir: Because my father told me not to...

Juno: He does not like you swimming?

Eir: No, he just didn't want me to get hurt. I swam in the bathtub, but that's about it

Juno: *Floats on her back as she thinks* How could get hurt in the water? I mean, I know there are ways. But as long as a parent is watching you, those ways are easily avoided

Eir: Well, my mother also cannot see, and my father can only see at night or in the dark, so they couldn't see me.

Juno: Ohh, that makes sense then

Eir: Yeah

Juno: Do much of your family have problems with sight?

Eir: It looks like it. T-Though... My blood-brother seemed just fine

Juno: Blood brother?

Eir: *nods* Yeah, blood brother. I didn't grow up with him, but apparently we are related

Juno: Were you separated from him at birth?

Eir: *nods* Yeah

Juno: How did you meet with him again?

Eir: He found me

Juno: What was that like?

Eir: It was frightening

Juno: *Moves to sit in the shallow water* Frightening? Why is that?

Eir: Wouldn't you find it frightened if you were never told of a brother or sister, and one day one just appeared?

Juno: *Tilts her head as she thinks* I suppose I would... *Frowns* Why did your parents not tell you about him?

Eir: They didn't know. They were only foster parents after all

Juno: *Looks confused* So they're not your blood parents?

Eir: Nope

Juno: Ohhh, alright. That makes sense then

Eir: *nods*

Juno: Do you know who your blood parents are?

Eir: I met my father, but I have only heard about my mother

Juno: What was he like?

Eir: I don't know, I only was there for a moment

Juno: Ohh *Stiffens when a fish swims between her paws* Ew~

Eir: *sitting alone by the clearing*

Juno: *Walks out, leaves falling off her as she strides along*

Eir: *ear twitches as she hears some leaves ruffling and she looks towards where the sounds came from*

Juno: *Comes to a stop and sniffs at the air, smiles a little when she catches a familiar scent. Begins to follow it, waiting until she picks up the familiar heart beat of Eir* Good evening Miss Eir

Eir: *also smiles as she realizes the approaching figure is Juno, and waves lightly* Evening Juno. How're you today?

Juno: I am doing well *Gracefully sits about a foot away from Eir, her tail wrapping around her paws* How are you Miss Eir?

Eir: *smiles* I'm quite well too. How do you know exactly where to sit so that you're not too far or too close?

Juno: *Smiles and tilts her head slightly* I can tell from the loudness of you heart beat *Says in a softy whispery voice* And from the sound of your breathing

Eir: Wow, you're amazing. I can't hardly hear your breathing from here.

Juno: *Laughs softly* Not really. Hearing is the only sense I can rely on on to sense know I am going, and so it is my most developed

Eir: I'd rather have an extremely overdeveloped sense than 3 not so developed ones.

Juno: *Laughs softly once more* In my mind, you have the better deal. Even if it were poor sight, I would like to have it *Runs a paw over the grass* I would love to know what colors look like

Eir: *closes her mouth* I wish I could explain them to you

Juno: That is nice of you to say Miss Eir *Tilts her head back and inhales* It smells as if it's going to rain

Eir: *agrees* I love the feeling right before a storm

Juno: Should we find shelter?

Eir: Probably

Juno: *Shakes her head as a rain drop hits her ear* I know of a small cave if you are interested

Eir: *hit by a raindrop* That sounds like a good idea.

Juno: *Stands and begins walking off, her steps confident as it sprinkles* Follow me Miss Eir

Eir: *gets up and follows after her* Okay

Juno: *Weaves her way through the trees, but her steps become unsure as the rain begins to fall harder. Throwing her off.* We should be- *Smacks into a tree*

Eir: *gasps and hurries right next to her* Are you okay?

Juno: I believe that I am fine *Nose wrinkles as she feels something wet sliding down her nose. Lifts a paw to wipe it away, only to catch the scent of blood* My nose is bleeding *Ears flick, the scent making her feel queasy*

Eir: *flails and wipes at it, not really able to see it either* Umm...

Juno: *Flinches a little as her nose is touched, then laughs softly* Thank you Miss Eir *Tilts her head up to the sky, sighing as the rain drops hit her face* I am afraid that I am useless like this Miss Eir. You should seek out shelter, the cave is somewhere near by

Eir: ><; *shakes her head and grabs her arm* I'm not going anywhere without you. *starts wandering*

Juno: *Gasps a little in surprise as her arm is grabbed. Allows herself to be led by Eir* I am sorry about this Miss Eir

Eir: *laughs* It's no problem. I'll just be sorry if I can't find any shelter

Eir: *ears flicked up, as she keeps running into trees*

Juno: *Frowning at the drop in temperature, a gold scarf wrapped her neck. Stops at the sound of someone continuously running into something* ...Hello?

Eir: *rubs her nose* ouch...

Juno: *Slightly tilts her head at the sound of a familiar voice* Miss Eir?

Eir: *blinks, and looks around* Juno?

Juno: *Begins walking towards Eir's voice* Are you alright Miss Eir?

Eir: I think so. *starts wandering towards Juno's voice* Does it seem colder than usual today?

Juno: It does. I have been told that winter is on it's way. *Begins to slow as the sound of Eir's heart beat reaches her ears and starts to get stronger, along with her scent*

Eir: Oh, is that what it i- *smacks into another tree* owwww....~

Juno: *Winces* Are you having trouble Miss Eir?

Eir: *laughs* Well, apparently the cold weather is throwing me off a bit.. *wipes her nose and feels her hand get warmer* Uh oh...

Juno: Uh oh? *Frowns* What is it? *Stops by Eir*

Eir: *says throw her paws* I think my nose is bleeding...

Juno: *Frown deepens* Here *Takes off her scarf and offers it*

Eir: Oh, I couldn't, I'd hate to ruin your scarf.

Juno: *Laughs softly* You can not ruin it, it is easily washed. And if it stains, that's no problem since I can't see

Eir: *pouts* But still. . .

Juno: *Shakes her head* I insist that you take it Miss Eir. Your well being is more important than this fabric.

Eir: ... But won't you be cold? And it feels like its starting to stop

Juno: I'll be fine Miss Eir *Tries to dab Eir's nose herself by moving extra close and following the scent. Misses and gets Eir's cheek*

Eir: *blinks and blushes lightly when her cheek is wiped* Um... That's not my nose...

Juno: I am sorry *Moves over to her nose*

Eir: *pouts lightly and sighs before grabbing her paw to place the scarf at her nose*

Juno: *Laughs softly* There we go

Eir: ^^; I'm sorry to be soiling your scarf...

Juno: There's no need to apologize Miss Eir, I insisted after all *Carefully dabs and tries to wipe clean Eir's nose*

Eir: I know, but still... *sweatdrop* I don't get why I am running into trees all of a sudden

Juno: Perhaps it is due to the weather change?

Eir: I sure hope that's all that it is...

Juno: Why don't you ask your parents? Perhaps they'd be able to provide you with more info?

Eir: I'm not like my parents... Either of them, biological or not

Juno: *Frowns a little* You will just have to wait and see then... let me know if I can be of any help.

Eir: I wouldn't want to impose my problems on you.

Juno: It wouldn't be imposing Miss Eir.

Eir: Are you sure?

Juno: *Nods* I am very sure Miss Eir

Eir: *smiles* Thank you

Juno: *Sitting by a frozen river as her thoughts wander to what her family could be doing. Sighs in a forlorn manner*

Eir: *walking about, disliking the headache she's getting from all the white around*

Juno: *Ears pin back at the sound of footsteps in the snow* ...Hello?

Eir: *blinks at the sound of noise* Hello...? *turns towards it and sees a black figure in the distance* Is that you Juno? *smiles*

Juno: *Smiles softly at the familiar voice* It is I Miss Eir.

Eir: *walks over towards her*

Juno: *Turns to face Eir when she draws close* Greetings

Eir: *sits down next to her and smiles* Evening

Juno: I trust that you have been well my friend?

Eir: Well enough. This snow is not only blinding me even worse but giving me headaches every time I go outside. What about you?

Juno: *Frowns slightly* I am sorry about your eyes Miss Eir *Sighs* ...I have been feeling rather lonely

Eir: *pouts* Why is that?

Juno: I miss my family...

Eir: Oh... I know how you feel

Eir: *humming lightly to herself by the pond by her house*

Juno: *Has her nose to the air as she moves through the woods, seeking out a familiar scent. Stops, her ears perking where instead of picking up the female's scent, she hears her. Smiles and starts to carefully make her way towards the humming*

Eir: *unaware as Juno begins to near her, starts picking the pedals off of a flower*

Juno: *When she emerges from the tree, thankfully without harm, she sniffs at the air. Locking onto Eir's scent* Miss Eir?

Eir: *had picked the flower to the last pedal when she hears her name. turns around quickly and drops the flower, smiling* Hello Juno. ^^;

Juno: *Smiles openly at her friend, pausing when one of her front paws finds itself in the water* Oh, mis-step

Eir: *giggles* Do you like water?

Juno: In doses *Flicks the water off her paw before taking some steps back* I am not interrupting?

Eir: No, you aren't interrupting a thing. It is always nice to have you around *smiles*

Juno: I am glad *As usual, her tail wraps itself around herself* It'd be a shame to have to leave after seeking you out

Eir: Wouldn't it? *happy that she was being sought out* How have things with you been?

Juno: They have been quite well *Sighs happily* I have been enjoying the scent of spring. Yourself?

Eir: Much the same... And I must say I really do enjoy it much more than the winter snow

Juno: *Shivers at the thought of snow* So cold, and hard to walk through

Eir: *nods* This is so much better

Juno: I love the feel of grass *Tilts her head back to sigh happily* And the warmth of the sun

Eir: *grins and sighs with her* Me too... And the flowers aren't bad either

Juno: Flowers? They are what creates that lovely smell that fills the air, correct?

Eir: Yes. *picks one and holds it out to her* Here, I wish you could see what a pretty shade of lilac this is

Juno: *Leans in to sniff at the flower, lets out a purring sigh* It smells wondrous

Eir: I wonder what type it is...?

Juno: *Tilt her head slightly* The flower?

Eir: *nods* Yeah...

Juno: Do you know anyone who knows a thing or two about vegetation?

Eir: *thinks to herself* I don't think so...

Juno: Ah well *Smiles, the end of her tail twitching* It is not really important

Eir: *sweatdrops before staring at the twitching*

Juno: *Tilts her head at the silence* Something wrong Miss Eir?

Eir: Oh, your tail... It twitched

Eir: *sitting in the clearing, listening to the sounds of kits*

Juno: *Slips through the woods, following a certain scent. When she emerged into the clearing, she turned her nose up to the air to find where Eir may rest*

Eir: *ear twitches as she hears some rustling of leaves, and she turns towards the sound*

Juno: *Smiles when she catches her friend's scent yet again. Her tail swishes behind her as she makes her way towards Eir*

Eir: *smiles to herself as a black figure begins to come into blurred focus*

Juno: *Once close enough she sits by her friend. Her tail wrapping around herself* Hello Miss Eir

Eir: *smiles and bows her head in greeting* Good afternoon Juno.

Juno: I hope that you are well this afternoon?

Eir: I am. And are you well as well?

Juno: *Nods* My afternoon is going well *Tilts her head* I have heard rumors of a new influx of kits

Eir: Those rumors are true... There are some out now, but more will come out later.

Juno: Are there? *Smiles, her ears perking at the sound of young voices* So there are... *Smiles softens* I wish I could see them

Eir: I could describe them to you to the best of my ability if you'd like

Juno: I would greatly appreciate that Miss Eir

Eir: *looks over at Gutxi and Creme in the distance* It looks like there are two... One a tan color and one pink... *squints her eyes* I think the pink one has hair, and the tan one has a skirt, but I can't really tell...

Juno: *Tries to form a picture of the kits, but can't due to not knowing what colors even look like, or skirts. Smiles at Eir anyways, not wanting the other to feel bad for not succeeding* They sound adorable... *It wasn't a lie, from the sounds of their voices, they did sound cute*

Eir: *hesitantly laughs* I'm sorry, I probably didn't do a very good job describing them

Juno: You tries Miss Eir *Carefully reaches out to feel around for Eir's shoulder, and then pat it* And that is enough

Eir: I really wish I could show you even what I see of the world...

Juno: You are very kind to wish such a thing Miss Eir, but, that is no surprise

Eir: *reaches up to run her paw against the stitching keeping Juno's eyes closed* How did you end up with these?

Juno: *Ears flick at the odd feeling of another's paw on her eyes, touching the stitching* I was born with them Miss Eir

Eir: *sighs* What is the world like from your ears?

Juno: It is... musical *Nods* Much like listening to an orchestra made up of life

Eir: An orchestra of life... *closes her eyes and listens to nature*

Juno: *Leans close and murmurs* Can you hear it Miss Eir?

Eir: *listening to the birds and the wind and whatnot* I think I can...

Juno: *Falls silent, happy that Eir is "seeing" the world as she does*

Eir: It feels more calming this way
