Senritsu yawned, stretched her arms and legs out before her and stood from her spot on the roof of one of the buildings the village was abundant with. She didn't want to deal with her parents the night before, since she'd seen her father was in a drunken rage again through the window. The girl didn't want to take the chance of being what he channeled his anger through. Leaping from off the building's top, she landed gracefully on the street, placed her hands in her pockets and walked off towards the place she'd been used to going to for the past few days. Sukotto had offered to teach her quite a few things and she'd been willing and waiting to do whatever he told her, and today was no different. She seemingly danced her way up to the door and knocked before walking in. "Sukotto! Rise and shine! Get your toosh up!" The Uchiha called inside before walking to the kitchen. She let her eyes wander, awaiting him to come and join her. She wondered if he'd been awake and had eaten yet. The girl felt her stomach rumble to the thoughts of the fact she hadn't eaten since the afternoon the day before. Stupid father, why couldn't he be sober long enough for her to get some food inside her?

Thankfully, Sukotto managed to arrive to the Estate just after Senritsu had. A half smile crept its way along his face as he watched the door close behind her. It was a very comforting thought to know that they had become close enough for her to enter without waiting for him to come to the door. The Uchiha then quietly laughed to himself while thinking, "Either that or she's just rude!" Of course, he didn't consider his close friend rude by any means, at least not while she was in his presence. If she even came close to being rude to him, it would only be for her own entertainment, and Sukotto didn't mind that at all for reasons that he couldn't quite understand. As the pleasant ache in his chest that was a result of his laughter and the subtle smile on his face began to fade, the genin lugged into the estate the armful of groceries that he had picked up that morning. Since he hadn't really kept food at the house after Ichi had been taken in the Orochi village, Sukotto decided that it had been time to stock up, especially since he'd hopefully be having a very special guest come around more often. He made his way into the kitchen and set the bags and sacks onto an island table. As soon as Senritsu entered his field of view, Sukotto greeted her with the warm smile that had returned to his face. "Glad to see that my wake up call has arrived." Sukotto immediately noticed that the girl appeared quite famished and fished in one of the grocery sacks for a piece of fruit to give to her. After handing her one without asking if she wanted any, he made a quick comment. "I see that they've continued to feed you well." When she was hungry or otherwise weakened by a basic need, Senritsu seemed to enter a sort of stance that was meant to hide it from others. Sukotto had seen her enough to tell this apart from the way that she normally carried herself. To a stranger, Senritsu's normal posture would give more evidence of hunger than her hunger-concealing stance would, but Sukotto knew better. "I was planning on fixing us up some breakfast before you arrived, but seeing as you're here, perhaps you can help me, if you're up to it that is." He winked at her and then looked into the bag while pawing at the various foodstuffs that he had picked up. "I went a little over the top with what I've purchased, so we'll be able to make just about anything you'd like to, as long as it isn't too exotic."

Senritsu leaned against the kitchen counter, hearing her little pal enter the doorway she awaited his entrance into the kitchen. So, he was out, shopping appearently. Odd, she'd never seen him go shopping before. Was there a special occasion? It wasn't his or her birthday, so that couldn't be it. "Wake up call was kind of pointless appearently, what time did you wake up? The sun barely rose not too long ago, what kind of phycho sells food to a guy right after sun rise?" The girl took the fruit from him, giving him a half-hearted smile while doing so. There was something off. Seriously off. Sukotto was becoming more familiar with her physical changes and moods the more time the spent together, enough to know when she was hungry or not. Then again, she was nearly always hungry. Fruit was decent, but she'd rather nibble on some candy. Not wanting to waste what was given to her, she took a bite out of it and turned her head away as he spoke of her god-forsaken family. "Yeah, I wasn't feeling too well yesterday and wen't to bed early, so I didn't get food. Then of course none of them wake up earlier than I do." She looked around at the bags he was carrying as he spoke about breakfast. Definitely something she could get into. "Sure, sure," she said quickly, trying to ignore the wink he'd given her. "Hm, why'd you go over the top? The food is only for your consumption, surely you couldn't have gotten enough to be considered 'over the top'. Sukotto, aren't you wasting too much of your money?"

Sukotto smiled at Senritsu's remark about him wasting money. "Sen, all I ever do is read and train. Checking out books from the library is free and the day that I have to start paying to train is the day that I'm going to retire from being a shinobi. What would I need to save money for?" And it was true. Sukotto already had himself a roof over his head and made plenty of money from the missions that he went on to support any other needs. If anything went wrong with the estate, he'd simply look up a book on how to fix it and get it done himself rather than hire any services. "I suppose that I got a little carried away after thinking up the idea; you know me when I've made a plan, I usually take it beyond normal expectations." With that, he began taking things out of the bags and sacks and set them out on the table. A cheerful grin remained on his face as he spoke once again, making it clear that his mood had a bit of playfulness strewn about it. "At least feign a little excitement for my sake. Now what would you like to make? And don't make me pick, I'd get my nose buried in a cookbook and you wouldn't see me until I was a full-fledged chef!" With that, the Uchiha cocked his head a little and awaited the girl's response.

Senritsu scuffed at his remark on saving money. It didn't matter to her either way, wasting his money on her was like wasting money to feed an entire hungry village plus the island over. He'd have gotten more of a positive reaction from her if he'd donated it to some charity. Though, he was right about over doing things. If you looked up 'over achiever', Sukotto's picture would be right there next to it. Though, if you looked up 'lazy' Senritsu's picture would be there. Odd how they could ever be friends with how different they were. She could care less about anything and he'd try to go over the top with it all. Staring at the male blankly as he continued to speak about what she'd want to eat, she made no movements to give him any sort of impression that she was excited about doing something. Looking over what he laid out from his bags, she sighed. "True that, you'd end up a cook and then never stop cooking til everything you made had the person who was eating it cry from happiness." Her voice was rather plain as she spoke, still looking at the things he had. "How about...some eggs, rice and...hm...diced apples and something sweet. Did you get any candies?" Senritsu raised herself a bit from where she was to try to get a better look at the things he bought, searching through to see if he brought her anything delicious.

The Uchiha male's chest rumbled a little as he stifled a light chuckle. For an unknown reason, Senritsu's disinterest in his randomly generated activities entertained him to a high degree. Perhaps it was because usually no matter what sort of scheme he cooked up, she'd begin with her critical statements about how it was probably a bad idea or how it could have been done more efficiently, but would always participate with him anyway. While anyone else observing the situation would figure otherwise, Sukotto was pretty sure of himself, and hoped that he would be able to percieve otherwise if he was incorrect. With a smile on his face, Sukotto reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a small pouch that he had stocked with sweets, specifically for his female friend. It didn't take him long to figure out which were her favorites and had made it a habit to pick up at least a few for her whenever he was shopping for anything. With only a slight smile, he slid the little bag across the table to her and then made his way to the stove. Having already set kindling underneath the metal rails, he simply formed a couple of hand seals and blew a small flame through the bars, igniting the tinder. "If you want, I could cook the eggs while you prepared the apples." With that said, Sukotto fished in one of the cupboards for two properly sized pans for heating the food as he awaited Senritsu's response.

The girl eyed her male friend with a bit of an irritated look as he tried to stop from laughing at something she did or said. It wasn't like she cared to any extent, it just annoyed her when she didn't know what it was that he was laughing at in the first place, leaving her completely unknowing. She kept her eyes on him as his hand dissapeared into his pocket, bringing out something she would have almost leaped at him for. Her eyes widdened for a split second before she returned her facial expression to what it was before. Though, the moment the bag had left his hand, she'd snatched it up, turned around and brought out one of the suckers that had been inside, unwrapping and slipping it into her mouth before slipping the bag into her pocket and turning around with a smile on her face. Her day was made. She had her candy bag of happiness. The young Uchiha female watched as he turned to light the flame on the stove. Her green eyes watched his actions closely, following every movement. "Huh? Yeah sure I guess." Senritsu fiddled her fingers together, looking down as she switched the sucker from one side of her mouth to the other, finding it fun to play with it with her tongue as she waited for whatever the hell it was she was going to be given to do her job.

The Uchiha reached into one of the bags and retrieved the eggs and rice, quickly cracking the former, and mixing the latter into a bit of water that he had poured into a pot. After setting the pot on the stove, he handed a few apples to Senritsu and passed her one of his kunai to chop at it with, happy to see that she had already tapped into the little stash of candy that he had given her. "So is there anything that you'd like to do after we eat today? Maybe take a walk through the village or go relax at the shoreline, since it's finally warm enough to comfortably enjoy lounging around outdoors." The genin then placed a little butter on the pan that he had retrieved for the eggs and placed it on the stove, instantly liquefying the yellowish solid. He cracked what he figured would be enough eggs to sate their appetite and allowed them to slide out of their shells onto the hot pan, instantly filling the room with the exciting aroma of a breakfast that was soon to come. Sukotto grabbed a spatula from one of the drawers near the stove and began poking at the first batch of eggs. "How will you take your eggs today, my friend?" After speaking, he turned from the stove to see if Senritsu had begun her task of fixing up the apples.

Senritsu grabbed the apples and quickly started to slice through them as she played with her sucker and listened to Sukotto speak. A little smile was on her lips as she noticed he had not refered to training that day. She thought while she finished up her first apple, quickly taking up a new one and begining again, making sure to skin it before dicing it up into even seperates. Her eyes flashed up to him as he cooked the eggs and watched for a moment or two before continuing with her own job. "Huh? Um, scrabbled, got any cheese to put on top of 'em?" She smiled as she stopped momentarily to answer him, finishing her second apple and setting down her equipment to come over and see how far he'd gotten. Senritsu stood next to him for a moment before leaning against the counter beside the stove. Yawning, she closed her eyes and leaned her head back, her hair moving slightly as she did so. Breakfast. A real breakfast. It was weird. The last time she actually had eggs and rice with someone there and it wasn't something she had stolen, it was before her siblings were born. A content smile flooded her face as she thought about it, turning towards the male as he cooked. It was even stranger that it would be with someone...she actually concidered close. Not family or a mere friend, but someone perhaps closer. What was it called again? A best friend? No... Senritsu couldn't remember what it was that people called themselves to eachother but it wasn't like it mattered.

After hearing Senritsu's request, Sukotto chopped at the eggs in the pan with the end of the spatula, effectively scrambling them. He had in fact grabbed cheese on his big shipping spree, so he quickly took it from one of the sacks and spread it over the eggs that he had prepared. After it finished melting and the rice finished cooking, the Uchiha grabbed a pair of plates from one of the cupboards and divided up the food that he had prepared for himself and Senritsu. Even though the winter of the year had seen its final days, the Spring mornings still managed to be quite brisk, so Sukotto decided that eating in the living room by the fireplace would be the most comfortable area out of the entire estate. "I hope that the breakfast is to your liking, Sen." With that said, Sukotto doused the stove, made his way into the living room, set the plate he had fixed up on top of the low coffee table, and went about making the fire. Instead of carefully blowing a little flame out of his mouth as he had done to start the fire for the stove, the Uchiha decided to attempt something slightly more interesting. To make it so he wouldn't have to move from the table to the fireplace, Sukotto formed the six hand seals of his favorite jutsu and shot a quick fireball into the wood that had been stacked inside of the mantle. With a bright burst, the logs were lit and already warming the chilly house. With a satisfied smile painted across his face, Sukotto waited for Senritsu to join him before he began to eat.

A smile stretched across the girl's face as he scrambled and added some cheese into the mixture he was creating. It was interesting to watch the male cook. She knew he could do so, but she'd never actually taken the time to watch him cook, or anyone for that matter. It was oddly entertaining. At first, when Sukotto started taking the food into the other room she sat and watched him curiously, wondering where he was taking the delicious smelling food. When he spoke though, she nodded and followed him into the living room, sat down and placed the food in her lap to eat as she watched as he lit the fire. It was an entertaining trick he seemed to enjoy doing. As much as as she'd refuse to say it, she found it fun to watch as his chest moved inward as the fire was elicited from his mouth. A small smile came to her lips as she looked down and took a quick bite. "Hm...it's good..." the Uchiha told him without looking upwards.
