I've always been a fan of pump and lever action guns, and I think one chambered in 7.62x39 is a good idea, and an even better one if it accepted AK magazines, but that thing is an abortion. The pump is too far up for a rapid follow up shot.

I posted on this abortion some months ago. Upon request of a relative in CA. where this thing is legal, I went to a Big 5 and played with one when they had one in stock.
It was a total piece of garbage! The rear sight was bent and loose. The slot they cut in the forearm was unfinished and in need of a sanding. And the receiver looked like it had been cast from recycled pot metal. I doubt it would last more than a few years. And God help you if you need parts or service for it.
This is the kind of gun I wouldn't shed a tear over if they melted it down for scrap.

On a related note, Remington discontinued the 7615. gonk
