The Story

Humans and vampires have been mortal enemies for centuries, from medieval times with classic Dracula vampires to the Twilight-style vamps of modern times.

Although vampires are very secretive and are experts at nabbing their victims in the blink of an eye, humans have always tried to interfere and destroy the vampire at large, interrupting the bloodsucking process and converting the victim into a newborn vampire. Because of the humans' desperate attempts to save their kind, more vampires are being born into the world, throwing nature out of balance and disturbing life as we once knew it.

Because of these conflicts, more and more humans are losing their lives and more and more vampires are being executed. Our once-peaceful world is now covered with fighting and spilled blood, overrun with utter chaos. Everyday life is like a living hell. World War III is erupting and every being is forced to take sides. It's the natural versus the supernatural. Who will emerge victorious and become the dominant beings on this Earth? Or will a peace treaty be organized so both sides can once again co-exist in harmony with one another? The fate of our world is ultimately in your hands....

In this RP, you can be either a vampire or a human. I'm sorry, but no lycans, shapeshifters, werewolves, etc. However, your character can have both a normal form and a fighting form.

Guidelines

1. Follow ALL guild rules. I don't feel like posting them here, so go read 'em if you haven't already.

2. Don't make your characters invincible!!! That basically means no dodging every attack, giving your character tons of weapons and powers, etc. It'll just make other people hate you, and I'll probably kick you out of the RP.

3. Follow the plot line. For instance, if there's a major fight scene breaking out, don't have your character fall asleep in a field of daisies. It confuses people and interrupts the main events of the RP.

4. Stay in character. For example, if you have a no-nonsense hardcore vampire warrior, don't have it walk over to a wounded human and heal him/her. It just doesn't fit, ya know?

5. Use past tense and third person. For instance... CORRECT: Vampyre and Hume walked uncertainly through the wood. "Well, this sucks," said Hume. Vampyre nodded in agreement. INCORRECT: *I walk uncertainly through the wood with Vampyre.**I face Vampyre.* Well, this sucks. *I see Vampyre nod in agreement.*

6. Be at least semi-literate. No1 likes a buncha txt tlk or 1337 spk.

Q: Can humans have special abilities?
A: Yes, they can have special abilities, but they must be limited. For instance, you can't be able to read peoples' minds, but you could sense the feelings and general ideas of their thoughts.

Other Info: Sabine is very elegant and slightly old-fashioned vampire loner with no-nonsense, kick-butt attitude. She's pretty much neutral, but will destroy anything (or anyone) in her way. It's easy to make her mad, and she usually likes to settle things with a fight. Even though she has razor-sharp claws and venomous fangs, her weapon of choice is a sword.
