Does anyone remember how Tales of Vesperia was only for Xbox360? Well now it's coming for PS3! First they lie and say it's for both systems then tell me I can't play it and now they are making it for PS3 with a longer storyline and bonus features. And guess what: IT'S ONLY FOR JAPAN! THIS IS TALES OF SYMPHONIA ALL OVER AGAIN!
DOES THIS PISS ANYONE ELSE OFF?

... Yeah, I'm ticked because its for the PS3. I abhor that system from the depths of my soul. And there's going to be this new pirate character, which means new events, probably altering the events of the original game, and its going to throw a wrench into my Vesperia fandom. ... And guess what? In Japan, if you preorder your copy, you get codes for Abyss costumes for Yuri, Flynn, and Estelle! D:<  ... Heh, looks kind of akward, actually. Yuri looks shorter and fatter in Asch's outfit.

That royally sucks, they should release Vesperia for the PS3 here, too! This stroke of bad luck reminds me of Kingdom Hearts Reverse/Rebirth. >x<
Excuse me for my ignorance, but I wonder how those alternate outfit codes work. -wonderwonder-
Poor Yuri... He does look kind of pudgy in Asch's outfit.

You know, Flynn should dress as Guy instead of Luke. Estelle looks good as Tear, though.

*shrugs* I dunno how codes work, actually. The only time I play my bro's xbox is for Vesperia. I'd assume you get the code with your copy and enter it on xbox live somewhere and download it.
... If Flynn was dressed up as Guy, I think there would be a rip in the space-time-continuim and all life as we know it would be wiped out... Seeing how Flynn is Guy's other half scattered across the universe, and all. *cough*

Mah! So unfortunate! Tis cruel fate that they wouldn't even be so kind as to give us the non-extended version for the PS3. Why must they be so unkind? Would it not give them more money to sell it to both systems? Cruel and foolish ones.

As far as the costumes go, I think Flynn should be in Guy's outfit. Him as Luke is just...wrong...I say this because I love red heads and every time I see the outfit, I think of Luke's red hair. Granted I rarely like blondes, not because their dumb or anything stupid like that but because I personally don't find blondes (especially men-with the exclusion of Guy) attractive. Yuri looks Okay as Asch, but Estelle makes Tear's outfit look kinda...simple...

But wait, where did you hear that the ps3 version would only come out in Japan? I after getting over my initial anger of not being able to play it, I kind of realise its a bit unfair to think like that, seeing as I had the privelege of playing the xbox version anyway. I think it's only fair that U.S ps3 owners should get to play it, and get the extra goodies for waiting for so long. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be another Symphonia where Japan keeps the remake all to itself. :/

Only time will tell. Hopefully they'll get the picture that we want to play it, too. And hopefully there will be enough demand for it. If Vesparia isn't popular enough in the US, it wouldn't be worth it (in their opinion) to bring it over because they would just loose money.

Hmmm, yeah, good point... I'm not really too sure how it did in the U.S. in the first place. I don't hear a lot of non-Tales fans talking about it. Then again Symphonia did amazingly well in the U.S., yet we still didn't get the remake, so there may be something else factoring into that decision. Well, who knows? If there's even a small chance that we'll get the Abyss anime, then I think we PS3 owners can be hopeful for this as well. If not... Well, guess we'll have to wait for the movie to enjoy more Vesperia goodness. sweatdrop

Japan, always gets the remakes.
Not just for Tales series. But also for Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean... special feature disks have only appeared in Japan thus far.
It's a sad fate.....
