Roxy was out and about on her own today. For a long while she'd been this way. Since becoming an adult, her personality had taken a major change. She was less clumsy and could focus easily on anything she was interested in. Right now all she wanted was to find another to keep her company. Maybe more...
Because of the permanent paint on her fur making her look like a jack o lanturn, most anybody she came across grew skittish and ran, or simply ignored her. The very thought caused her to flick her tail feathers in a dismissive way as if others were watching her right then.
"Their loss."

Ryu was off and trying to figure out something to do. He was bored out of his mind and really wasn't in the mood for anything at the same time. After the run in with Ozzie and Canixx he was really annoyed, however he was very glad that they were out of his life and he was on his own now, once more. He felt like he was never going to settle. He felt rejected so many times some times and really wasn't even that sure why. He needed to get out more though, he knew that much though.
He sighed softly as he flopped down on a rock, spreading out his limbs on the rock so they hung off of the sides. He sighed softly blowing the hair out of his face and looking down at one of his paws, extending his claws to examin them. He hadn't spared or romped around with some one in so long.

Roxy dipped her head down and got a good long drink of water, then looked around, ears perked up a bit. Something was nearby, and she had to know who or what it was. With a sly grin she stood up and started bounding lightly, scanning the area with her dark eyes.
She stopped when she spotted a red male sprawled out on a large rock. He looked very bored. Time to give him some excitement...Pads over, grinning as she moved around him. "Well hello there..."

Ryu almost jumped at the sound of the other lion. It was a lioness, he could tell by the scent and the sound of her voice. It wasn't a threat to him. That he knew for sure. He looked at her with a smirk as she walked around him. He twisted himself some to look at her, before sitting up, and ducking his head for a bow. "Hello there miss." He smiled at her before flicking his hair out of his eyes. "What brings you around here to these boring lands?" He asked with a brow arched.

Roxy held back a chuckle as the male seemed to be startled by her voice. She watched with a playful air as he moved and sat up, then bowed his head. He was very different from the rest of the lions here. A gentleman it would seem. "Mmm...just wandering here and there. It is boring indeed." She gave a slight grin. "What brings you here?"

Ryu chuckled softly ast the lioness before chuckling softly at her. "The boring ness to tell the truth." He sighed softly before laughing at himself. "This is turning out to be a bit of a boreing conversation. What is your name miss?" He asked with a grin spreading on his lips.

Roxy grinned impishly as he kept on with the boredom topic. "My name is Roxy. What's yours?" As she finished, her tail feathers dangled inches from his mawl before being pulled away again. "Why don't we make the best of such a dull day then?"

Ryu nodded a bit at her before smirking. "Nice name Roxy, I'm Ryu." His smirk grew before he stood up and grinnned at her. "Sure!" He laughed slightly. "Of course! What do you want to do?" e asked grinning more.

Roxy chuckled and padded up to Ryu. "We could go for a swim, race...or cause Mischief. I'm up for most anything." She flicked her tail feathers against his side with a grin. He certainly seemed like he knew how to have fun.

Ryu thought for a moment before lookin at her with a smile, then nodding. "Well normally I'd love to go cause some michief, or race... But its really hot, and there is a watering hole not that far off." With that he shook off his pelt and started trotting. "Come one! I think this would be our best idea. He smiled softly at her once more.

Roxy chuckled, purring slightly. "Sounds like fun Ryu!" With that she bumped his side, then took off at a run. "I'll beat you there!" She grinned, scanning the area, trying to spot the water Ryu had mentioned.
