Today was just not her day at all.

Ban'ma wiggled her rump, her legs dangling in mid air before grasping the bark and giving it a good shove. A few more stripes were visible this time around. Panting just as heavily as she was before the lioness stalled her efforts in an effort to come up with a plan.

The situation stood as this- Chased a large bird, bird flew into hollow tree and so did Ban'ma. Her head was still sporting a righteous bump from where she'd hit the inside bark, but moreso from the talons of the bird as it flew out the top. Declawed paws struggled to keep a hold so that her front half wouldn't slip into the bottom, causing her to become fully trapped in the damned thing.

Now it was time for plan B - "HELP!" She called, trying to stretch her legs as far as they would go just so she could touch the ground. "Somebody, anybody, help!"

Achal was wandering on his own again. He had throughly enjoyed his stay with Nabila Siti, Jasiri'ka and their family, even meeting a few very interesting characters, one being a very lovely lioness. However, not wanting to overstay his welcome and his paw completely healed his said is parting and headed off. He wasn't really going in any particular direction, but he was looking for a tree to practice his climbing.

His ear twitched at a sound and Achal looked around finally finding a tree, but what was weird was it seemed as though the tree was talking to him. Help it said and Achal moved forward knowing tree couldn't talk to notice something very odd. It look as though someone was stuck inside the tree.

"Hello," he called tapping the lioness legs, "how on earth did you get stuck like that?"

"Oh, oh thank goodness!" Ban'ma sighed with relief as soon as she heard the voice, but squirmed just as much as before when it touched her. She wasn't thinking about how possibly dangerous the stranger could be. All she was aware of was that one little push could have her stuck in the tree until her dying day.

That train of thought frightened her. Her voice shaky and filling with the frustration tears that were falling down her face, she called out to the voice. "I was a...f-fool. It was a foolish mistake to chase the bird a-a-nd even more to get myself stuck in this tree. Please, would you.... help me get out? I'll return the favor, on my word, anything you want."

Ban'ma was desperate. Normally she wasn't a pessimistic thinker, but flood of blood going to her brain messed up her entire system. She was imaging all the ways she could die in here; none of them pretty.

Achal looked oddly at the wiggling rump and almost laughed. It seemed like something his daughter would do, only she was too small to get stuck in a log.

"You know I can help you out, but you'll have to be still otherwise you'll wedge yourself in tighter."

Achal maneuvered around so that he could grab the females tail. "I'm going to grab your tail and pull and it may hurt a bit because I have to get a good grip."

Achal paused for a second before remember another important detail. "Now as I grab hold, breathe out as much air as you can and do not breath back in."

Achal braced himself and prepared to grab the females tail.

Ban'ma rolled her eyes up to the circle of skylight above her head. He sounded so sure that he could help her, and giving in to blind faith she loosened her hold on the inside bark in preparation.

"Sweetie, I haven't been still since the day I was born." She laughed nervously and gulped. "But I'll try just for you."

Ban'ma didn't like pain in the least. She'd fainted the day Nia had shown her a dead hare and didn't waste time crying when she studded a claw. Her heart was racing in her chest. "G-grab my tail?" Her voice was high pitched and squeeky. She made an overly dramatic gasp. "A-alr-alright, if your sure that it'll work.

The striped lioness practiced his instructions a couple times until her resolve built up. She coughed and rolled her head, setting her mind on the prize. "I'm ready!"

Achal grabbed hold her tail with his teeth, making sure to get a good grip, then just like that he pulled as hard as her could not really giving much warning to the female. He simply hoped she would give way and slip out.

Ban'ma didn't have time to think about how much his teeth hurt before she popped free from the tree. She was screaming, but out of shock more than anything. Her hind paws collided with the ground, slipped and sent her tumbling into the male with an 'omph!'.

Achal hadn't exactly be tumbled over and had realized it happened until Ban'ma landed on him. "Ow. That was exactly how I though things would go."

Achal wiggled away and sighs lightly. "You okay. It couldn't have been to fun to be stuck in that log for so long."

He smiled lightly looking over the pretty female. The stripes were something he had not seen before and he was such a fan a pretty coats seeing how his was so unique.

Ban'ma rolled her eyes lightly, smiling freely as she breathed in the fresh air. It felt so good to be free! "Wow, really?" She giggled, shaking her head as she moved to make way for him. "You must be pretty dead set on having girls fall on you."

The lioness dug her dark blue paws into the ground as she stretched. Her muscles popped and cracked, making her wince, then sigh as everything fell into place. "I don't think it was as long as I thought, seeing as it's still daylight. And...-" She twisted, curling her nose up. There was a pink line around her stomach. "-I'm only sore around my tummy. But what about you? I couldn't have been light."

Ban'ma looked at him for the first time and purred. It was such a natural instinct that she didn't question it. He had mountains on him, her savior. And so beautifully they matched with his sky colored mane. "What's your name, Mr. Mountain man?" She placed one paw infront of the other.

Achal laughed at her comment, "Not really, though I'm sure you appreciated it. If I had moved your landing would have been a bit rougher."

Achal nodded as she spoke, "Its good to know you haven't been stuck for too long. It seems as though I was in the right place at just the right time."

He shook out his mane slight and stretched, "I'm prefectly okay. I have had lot of exprecience with being landed on. I have three sisters and a daughter. Even while they were almost fully grown I still got surprise attacks."

When she mentioned his pelt he looked at the mountains that lay on it, "Mr. Mountain, suprisingly thats the first time anyone has ever called me that. My name is Achal. It a pleasure to meet you. What is you name lovely lady?"

Ban'ma nodded along with him, her heart swelling with gratitude. If he had been any later than he had been or Gods forbid, hadn't come at all, then she would have been in a real pickle. "Thank you so much. I really am grateful that you saved me from the tree. It would have been horrible to live my life as a funny looking branch." She grinned.

"Three sisters and a daughter?" She whistled. "It seems like your outnumbered. My brother was that way too. Biggest family in the entire pride, full of females and a scrawny little boy. " Even as she spoke of him, she couldn't help the shiver of fear that ran down her spine. "Look at that. I've been stuck long enough for muscle spasms!" Ban'ma laughed.

She blushed at the compliment and twirled a claw in the dirt. What a nice young man, Achal was. "Oh no, the pleasures all mine, Achal. My name's Ban'ma and I'm very happy to have met you."

Achal smiled and laughed lightly, "You are very welcome. It was my pleasure to have helped you. I am traveling and it is so great to meet new faces on the savannah. I do do enjoy it." Achal couldnt help but chuckle a little more. "I must agree," he laughed, "that it would have been rather unfortunate for you to have spent life that way. You would would stick out so much. Bit to wiggly to be a branch, don't you think."

Achal settled a bit more so that he could enjoy his conversation with the lovely new lady. "Yes. I was vedry outnumbered in my family. Even my twin was a girl though she left in adolscence when our mother died. She was not to keen on raising our three new sisters."

Achal laughed at Ban'ma remark, "Maybe you need to walk a bit. Get your muscles back in order."

Achal listened to her introduce herself then stood, "Ban'ma is a very pretty name." He turned and looked back to Ban'ma, "Shall we, there is a watering hole a little ways back."

Ban'ma's smile took on a more sympathetic note as she moved to placed her paw ontop of his. "I'm very sorry to hear that, but maybe it just wasn't her time to help. Still, thats no excuse really to leave three lil' chitlins without a mother figure." She scrunched up her brows, the popped a little 'oh!' and sat back. " Sorry, so sorry. I shouldn't judge her like that. I just get defensive around cubs."

She had to admit, as she stretched around and popped one of her leg muscles that he had an idea. "A walk sounds like a wonderful idea. " The lioness stood to follow him, licking her lips before gigglings. "I'm game, but you might want to rethink your offer. I'm not the most graceful drinker."

Achal smiled, "Its okay really. I was angry at her at first, but I have forgiven her. I thoroughly enjoyed raising them and I even took in a little orphaned cub, my daughter Aurora. I love cubs and I get rather defensive when it comes to them as well."

Achal stretched and moved forward knowing Ban'ma would follow and laughing slightly at her words. "We do not have to have to drink. We could swim or watch others around the water while we chat. Though drinking gracefully isnt to hard. I'm sure I could help you with that."

Achal flicked his mane from his eyes and looked at the lovely female walking with him. He could not believe his luck to meet so many lovely young ladies on the savannah.

Again, there was that daughter thing. It pleased her to know that it wasn't biologically his, which meant the chances of him being free were open.

"Oh, I'm gonna drink." She blurted laughingly, kicking up her paws in a little trot to catch up with him. "You forget where I came from, good sir. I'm so thirsty, I...I could drink up the whole watering hole in one go. " Ban'ma laughed at herself and shook it off. "Although, I could use some learning how to do it gracefully. I don't want to look like a water buffalo."

Ban'ma's tail flowed easily behind her and occasionally gravitated to his hind legs. She wasn't a flirt by any means...or trying to be right now, but the urge to cuddle him was strong. If anything to show him how gracious she was. "So, about your daughter and your sisters. Do you still live them?"
