Lacey Xia-Hui (Summer Blessing) born Friday, June 12, 2009 at 8:39am by scheduled c-section 5lbs 10oz, 18" long
Everything went really well, and I'm having an easier time recovering due to Percocet compared to just the Ibuprofen I took after Amber's c-section.

Twinnie, it's weird seeing you as a dark avi since you're usually so light on Mene. I kinda like it... wink

Thank you, Twinnie. I saw this hairstyle and just had to have it. smile I also really like the color red. I have brown hair and eyes so I look halfway decent in it IRL. *huggles*

I can't wear real red because of my pale skin and light eyes. So I use various pinks and maroons.

I also like different variations on red. Maroon was one of my school colors. smile

Oh yay! Apricot made it here! heart I forgot to visit here after telling her to come post!
Ghostie, good to see you again! You had a c-section in November? How was it? I did so much better with this one than with Amber's. Can we see pics of your little one?
I can see how people get addicted to percocet. I like the way it made me feel!
My school colors were green and gold to match the pines and autumn aspens in the nearby mountains. I didn't really like the colors. Jason got purple and white, I think, and I would have liked those! When we ask Jason what his favorite color is, he says "I don't know, maybe red," although with his colorblindness he actually can't even SEE red! He likes all the green in North Carolina! Maybe he just likes what red stands for, like blood on Halloween, and it does look good as a dual-color in his mustang interior!
I used to wear white t-shirts a lot in high school because I hoped it would make my hair look lighter in comparison because I didn't like people saying I had black hair when I knew it was browner than my mom's, and I felt like wearing black made my face paler and my hair darker in comparison. But looking back, white makes me look fatter and black thinner, and now I like to wear black sometimes. I hadn't tried wearing red (I didn't want to stand out!) until I was well into adulthood, and I like the way it makes me look! Brings out the Asian in me, which NOW I'm proud of, and growing up, I was ashamed of because it made me different and people could never pronounce my middle name. I never thought about red not looking good with light hair and eyes, but I guess it does stand out more on dark hair and eyes!

Yep, I made it here! But as you can see, I'm lacking in my daily visits I promised. LOL I just really wasn't much in the mood for the internet this weekend, anyway. Plus my computer is being slow and driving me crazy. I have no patience for it right now, I guess.
Oh, and I wanted to mention about Knuffels and why she looks so sad in my siggie. I have a hard time with it there now and how you have to wait a few seconds to feed/play, etc. That's why I don't go there often to take better care of her. Am I becoming a bad mommy?

Yes I had my son on November 24th. He came by emergency c-section. I wasnt dilating so they used Cervadil but it worked too well. They put it in at 10pm on the 23rd and werent expecting me to go until the following day (I was only at a 2). Well I woke up at 4am in severe contractions and Christopher's (the baby) heart rate was dropping. They gave me the epidural and broke my water and said he had a bowel movement and his heart rate wasnt getting strong enough to attempt pushing so they were doing csection. It was all a huge blur. I went from 2 to 8 in 30 minutes and they took me into the OR at 5:15 and I had him at 5:26. It went ok. No problems from it at all really. Numbness around the scar, but she said that could be from nerve endings being cut when they cut me. It feels weird when I rub it....its like rubbing your foot when its totally asleep. They had me on percocet and 500mg Motrin. I was afraid of the addiction, but the pain was pretty much gone by the time I was done with the pills....so that was good.
I have pics of Christopher Derek Lee Hamilton on my myspace.....www.myspace.com/kperrty2
