-It wasn't very often at all that Kipepo left the safety of his home pride. In fact... despite the years under his belt he could probably count on his paws the number of occassions his feet had crossed the threshold to the world. It was just so big and seemingly neverending. Despite being a gigantic pudgey fluff of a lion, it made him feel so small, and just like a child, he found himself shrinking back cautiously just as often as running forward to look at something new.
But... it was about time he do something useful for the pride. His brother and sister in law for example did SO so much. So today he'd set out in hopes of seeing other lions, perhaps some birds, and spreading the word of the pride he loved so much. So far yet nothing. Well nothing but flowers..
He dawdled just a little, trying hard not to be too distracted by the beautiful little blooms.-

Ban'ma stared at her reflection in the stream with total horror. "I'm so thin," she moaned. Her body had lost its lackluster sheen and was starting to look a little bony. She turned her face in every whichway just to see if she looked good in some kind of lighting, but no such luck was to be had. Rogue life wasn't treating her well. Hunting was so difficult and with her trimmed claws, superbly so.
Not being able to take much more of the criticism, she stood up and stalked off. Her tail hung limp between her hindlegs while her limbs skulked through the beautiful scenary she'd come to know in these past few weeks. She was almost certain that a pride was lingering somewhere close by and still timid as ever to overstep their boundaries, she clung to the trees.
Tilting her head into the air, Ban'ma was prepared for a very dramatic sigh before she caught the scent of flowers. She loved flowers. So pretty and soft, delicate little buds blooming out to show the world just how beautiful they were on the inside. Smiling for the first time in days, she trotted through the mossy wood towards the scent.
However, when she got to the scene she saw another lion. It had been a while since she'd seen a lion in these parts before and he looked so much more squishable than the other. Almost adorable in fact, with his extra fluff. At least he was getting a square meal everyday.
Not wishing to disturb him, she settled a little bit away and laid down, crossing her forepaws at the joint. She was content with just sniffing the plants around her, unonsciously sneaking some glances in.

-A little blue one had caught his attention ecspecially, and he leaned gently until his nose almost touched the middle, sniffing just a little too strongly. Pollen tickled his nose, and he reeled back with a great sneeze, laughing as he patted at the little bloom apologeticly- "Sorry there little guy."
-As he spoke, his eyes caught movement, green eyes shifting to better take in the female figure that suddenly became obvious to him. Ears falling back in soft embarassment, he grinned a little shyly. How long had she been there? Obviously long enough to see his sneeze, maybe longer even.
Well... even if he had looked silly.. he probably looked even worse just staring at her mutely, so he leaned fowards, hiding his eyes a little bit behind loose strands of his mane.- "Well hello there."

She watched him intently as he leaned in closer to the blue one. Her tail brushed against the flowers around her before resting at her side, giving the occasional curious flick. Ban'ma leaned forward, a childish bit of her wanting to get closer to see what he was looking at exactly until he sneezed. She pulled her head back in a raising motion, ears pressed flat back against her head before she burst out laughing.
Her mane fell over her right eye as her entire body shook. When she was finally able to breath properly again, she reached a paw up and wiped the tears away from her eyes. Caucassian cheeks were flushed a light rosy color from the exertion, complimenting her easy going smile. "Hello." Blue eyes sought out the green in his veil of brown. She couldn't help but think of how adorable he was. "I didn't mean to disturb you. If you would be more comfortable alone, I could leave."
Not that she wanted to. She was comfortable for the first time in a while and having a bit of fun.

((I know you're shoving her in the Kings pride, but never hurts to have another rp for breedings or character development. ;D ))
-His shy embarasment only deepened as she laughed, bulky paws fidgeting on the ground, however, there was obviously no malice in the sound, so it wasn't long before his maw crept up in a sheepish grin.-
"No no," -He assured her quickly.- "I like having others around, even if they do catch me being silly sometimes..."
-His tail flicked back and forth, lifting his head enough to get a better look at the female. Just the sound of her laugh had been inviting and lovely, so he was already feeling more comfortable around her then most strangers. Politeness! That was right, you always had to be polite when making new friends! Grinning a little, he introduced himself.- "I'm Kipepo. What's your name?"

(Haha. xD I know! I want to finish it out just for the fun of it. He's still so cute! x3 And congrats on the litter- their amazing.)
"Everyone can be silly, Kipepo." She said with a smile, still giggling a bit before winking. "My name's Ban'ma."
She stretched out a little on the soft ground and brushed up against something fuzzy. Squeeling, the lioness recoiled from it and turned to see a little caterpilar inching it's way along the stem of a big yellow flower. "Hey, hey, come look. He's got little green things on him. " Ban'ma sat up and waved him over with her paw, her rump bouncing a little with excitement. When she settled back down, her face was inches away from the bug and her hind quarters were stuck straight up in the air. Slowly, she poked it with a clawless paw. "What do you think it'll turn into?"

((Thanks :3 It's a breeding that's been planned for a good year or more. XD Just had to wait on growing, and then collecting 10 rps, and slots finally. Should be fun plottage babies ))
-A soft and pleasant noise escaped him as she spoke, being immediately drawn to the giggle and lovely tone of her voice. And he was thankful too that she gave him such an escape from embarasment. Whether it be the truth or not, how many would admit that everyone IS a little silly from time to time.-
"Nice to meet you Ban'ma" -He chirped pleasantly, ears perking up with a start as she squealed and jumped, drawing forward to make sure she was alright, a look of relief touching him when he found out what had happened.
Bounding the last few steps, he leaned softly, green eyes wide as he inspected the culprit. It was cute.. and funny, scrunching it's body up to pull itself along. He liked that. As her question rose, he pondered for a moment. Despite it's green.. he knew very few butterflies grew up with green on them. Finally he decided, answering with a knowing nod, unaware of how ridiculous his answer was.- "I bet it'll have blue on it like you when it's a butterfly! It probably though you were it's mom, or it's sister."

"Like me?" She questioned, surprised at his answer, but none the less pleased. Her heart swelled with pride as she looked back down to the little...thingy. It was inching around, raising it's little head to look at the giants above it before going on it's little way.
Or it would have, had Ban'ma not stuck her paw out for it to crawl upon.
"Since this is my first baby, that must make you the father, Kipepo." She giggled and held it out to him like a cub with the subtle graces of a much older female. "It's pretty hard to believe though." Ban'ma pouted and poked it with her other paw. It fell onto it's side, wriggling around for a bit before righting itself. " I mean, look at him! He's so small and green and...and wingless. Do you really think he'll be a butterfly?"
