Orpheus looked over the trio of charts that he'd been given and seemed quite interested in the group. A set of triplets, eh? He knew there were a few sets of twins but this was the first group of three that he'd seen in D-Corp thus far. Highlander Cows, huh? He tilted his head in a thoughtful manner thinking on another student he'd had that was of a similar bloodline. He nodded before he set the charts aside and rose to his feet moving to get things ready for the class. He was going to need a hand from someone that he didn't think he'd ever ask for help from in one of his classes... He was going to have to buy her off but it would help helpful.
*****
It wasn't all that long later before he had Ter and Baroness upstairs in one of the grassy terrain rooms. He had fetched a long piece of rope that was thicker then his forearm that would be used in the class today. On one end was a thick, leather ring that was big enough for Baroness to be able to get a good hold on with her jaws and tough enough that she couldn't bite through it. He had the rope stretched out across the room awaiting the trio of students.
"Alright, now so long as you behave and do as your told through out the entire class you will get that ruby that you want so much out of my collection. Sound like a good deal, Baroness?" Orpheus asked of her. He knew how she could be but she would be more useful in this class.
While Vorel was a good dragon and would no doubt listen far better and without bribery he was likely to let the trio of children win at the tug of war game if he were to play with them... Baroness was less likely to do something like that. She would fight harder and he would better be able for him to see the strength of the trio of children if they had a real opponent.
The dragoness gave a nod of her head and then laid down, waiting for he oppoents to appear while Ter waited, coiled up to the side to watch.

Today was the triplets first real class and it couldn't be at a better time. Although disappointed that he wouldn't be able to stay and take pictures like the doting father he was Marco had been called in to work on a new case that just popped up. He almost told them no but Clay seemed to convince the man otherwise, saying they would be just fine at the class by themselves.
Parking the mini van in front of the facility the man got out to see his children off. It had been a much longer time now since he had gotten his three children, and it just seems it had always been that way. He was their father and they were his children, everyone looked skeptically at them as he introduced them as such. The man didn't mind, he knew their family was peculiar but he wouldn't trade it for the world.
Kissing the three cowlets on their foreheads he saw them off into the building before leaving to head to work. He really had noticed how much they'd grown, he just prayed he'd still have time left with them being young before the onslaught of hormones set in that inevitably distanced all children from their parents.

"Why's he always gotta go and do that?" Clay complained as he wiped his forehead, "We're not babies anymore," He grumbled, partially to himself, partially to which ever sibling would listen.
"It's cause he loves us Clay," Romeo said used to his brothers behavior, "He's just sad he won't get to see us in our class is all,"
"So? Dads don't go to classes, kids do. He shouldn't be here anyhow dummy," Clay scoffed.
"I guess so..." Romeo mumbled, "But he still just wants to make sure we're doing good,"
"But it's not his class so he shouldn't be upset," Clay said tugging on his brothers ear only to get and ouch and silence out of Romeo.
"Oh who cares, we'll just see him again when we get home, then he'll ask us about it and we'll tell him, both of you just get over it," Deidre piped up, "Besides we're at the class," Dei said as they walked down the corridor to the designated room. The girl walked up to the door to knock on it only to be interrupted by Clay walking up and opening the door regardless, "Impatient brat!" She huffed not a fan of being cut off. The girl stomped into the room after her red headed brother.
Romeo followed up the rear. Always the one trying to avoid confrontation Romeo tended to let his brother and sister go at it, until Deidre popped Clay though that didn't happen too often anymore, he thought. Clay must have learned by now.
"Ter, Baroness!" Clay hollered upon spotting the familiar faces. He remembered last time he ran into the older snake boy and his dragon. They were pretty cool, he was glad to see them again. He didn't see the owl boy this time though, he thought it might have been fun to mess with him like last time too, though he supposed just having Ter there would be cool enough.

Orpheus turned as the door opened and the trio of Highlander came into the room and he found himself looking them over before giving a smile, "Welcome to class." He greeted them, a bit surprised to see one of the three go racing over to Baroness and Ter. Well now... that was a surprise, Ter could make friends among people younger then him? He seemed rather pleased with that as he hoped it meant that he was calming down a bit.
Ter pushed up on his coils as Clay came over and he leaned in closer to him, grinning, "Heh, look at that. Getting a lot bigger aren't you?" He seemed pleased with this. A bigger Clay meant a more destructive Clay... where was his brother when he needed the guy... just imagine what would happen if Clay tackled him? Haha....
Baroness watched the boy as he went to talk with Ter before her eyes went to the rope that was stretched out in front of her. Talk, talk... she wanted to tug of war! Her tail thumped behind her in a manner that showed she was trying to stay calm since she had had to behave if she wanted her ruby.
Orpheus looked between the three kids, "Alright you three, my name is Orpheus Solon or just Orpheus." He wasn't one for formalities after all, "Today we are going to do a bit of a strength test using the rope I have here." He motioned at it.

"Guess so," Clay replied, it was always weird when older people commented on 'how much he'd grown' or 'how much older he looks' he seemed like most kids in the sense that he just felt awkward hearing it.
"So what's up?" clay asked wondering what's been keeping the snake busy. Turning to Baroness he greeted her too, "Hey Baroness, gorgeous as always," He said still thinking that she was the coolest dragon he'd seen yet. He wanted to pet her but it had been a while since she last let him so he didn't want to risk being presumptuous.
"Hi Mr. Orpheus," Romeo said looking up at the man as he spoke. The boy wondered why Ter was here, maybe he was taking this class too. Though it seemed weird that some one so much older would be taking a class with them.
The chubby cowlet had to wonder where Ligeia was if Ter was around. He remembered that they were brothers so he concluded that Geia must be somewhere near by.
"Hello Orpheus," Deidre said, she knew well enough to be polite to her teachers. Even if he was a boy too, "What're we doing today?" She asked curiosity in her voice. She was a little interested in what these classes were about.
Figuring that Deidre might be a little bit talking with the teacher the black haired boy chose to go ask Ter where Geia was. Romeo walked over to where Ter and Clay were talking, he smiled at Baroness as he passed.
"Uhm, Ter?" Romeo asked walking up to the group, "Do you know where Geia is? I thought he'd be around since you are," He said. The pudgy little guy seemed oblivious to the fact that Geia and Ter didn't get along very well. In fact he didn't remember a whole lot about the snake boy, he was too caught up in his make-believe game last time to have noticed.

Ter gave a lazy shrug of his shoulders, "This and that, starting to pack our crap so we can move. Apartment was to small before then my idiot dad thought it was a good idea to bring another kid home." He complained, not that he minded Maria all that much but his father didn't exactly plan things ahead... he could have had them move then got another kid but no... he had to do things the hard way...
Baroness seemed to puff up a bit at Clay's compliment and grinned, showing many teeth. Yes, she rather liked this one she thought to herself. Anyone that came baring gifts or compliments was good in her book.
Orpheus looked over at the two that seemed to be paying the most attention and spoke with them first, "A bit of a strength test." He explained, "One at a time you will each pull on the rope that we have laid out here while Baroness over there holds onto the other end of it." He motioned over at the Wyvern who seemed quite eager for the game to begin.
"After solo attempts at it you three will then try it as a team." He was curious if they would be able to move her at all separately or even as a team. She was rather large but at the same time only had two back legs... It was up for debate.
Ter turned from looking at Clay to starring at Romeo as though the kid were speaking a foreign language, "I will explain this since your little and don't know. Hanging out with your siblings isn't cool, kid." He told the chubby cow kid, "And it sure as hell isn't cool when your sibling is like that idiot Geia."
Orpheus gave a groan, "Ter! Don't curse in front of the students or I will kick you out of the classroom."
The Wyvern set to snickering at the threat, quite amused at seeing her boy get yelled at.

"Moving? That sounds like a pain," Clay said wondering how obnoxious it would be if Marco had them move, "Got another sibling?" Clay asked feeling a bit sorry for Ter, "It bites living with two other brothers and sisters," He said with a huff. He really wished he was an only child some times. Or even just have his brother. Romeo didn't bug him much, and he was fun to tease. But Dei...Clay could do without her.
Dei gave a disgusted sigh, "What? Tug o'war?" She seemed disappointed, "more stupid sports..." She muttered to herself. Dei was really getting sick of all this boy stuff. Even at classes she had to do these stupid things! The girl walked off toward the rope with her arms crossed. She looked ready to get this stupid thing over with.
"O-Oh...sorry," Romeo said looking embarrassed. He didn't mean to insult Ter as it was obvious that the snake took it that way. "But....Clay and I hang out all the time," He mentioned.
"Do not!" Clay interrupted tugging on his brothers ear.
"Ouch!" Romeo whimpered rubbing at his ear.
"It's only cause dad takes us to the same places dummy," Clay scowled not wanting to be embarrassed by his stupid brother, "Why would I hang out with a fat geek like you?" Clay snipped.
That stung the chubbier brother a bit, "S-Sorry..." He muttered looking a little ashamed. He didn't mean to make his brother mad, but it seemed he did it more and more recently.

Orpheus gave a bit of a smile, "I wish I had a more entertaining class for you Deidre but my classes are based around testing the skills that come with the animal DNA." He explained before watching her take up her position at the end of the rope, "Alright, you can have the first go at it then. Baroness?"
The wyvern grabbed up her end of the rope at the sound of Orpheus saying her name and smiled in a delighted way. This was going to be sooooo much fun! She never got to participate in a class that wasn't hers before. Her tail set to lashing behind her in a happy manner and looked side long at Orpheus waiting for further instruction.
Ter watched the two brothers argue and he gave a fanged grin, causing discention in the ranks was far to much fun. While he figured the odds were that these brothers might be closer then himself and Geia he couldn't help but be amused at how quickly Clay denied it.
"Well at least you have one brother, I basically have two sisters to deal with... though of the two at last Maria still has hope of being cool. So long as she follows in my... footsteps, so to speak." If she followed Ligeia though she would end up as foolish and as weak as he was...
The way the chubby cow boy was standing... should have bothered Ter but then again this was the same person as the one that had taunted Cassi to tears making the boy think he was going to be fed to Baroness. Things like this amused Ter to no end.
"Come on Clay, let's cheer on Baroness." Ter said with a grin as he watched Dei getting ready to take on the Wyvern.

Deidre looked down at the rope with a bit of a disgusted frown. Stupid sports, stupid boys! Classes that had to do with their animal DNA, how useless. Or so the little girl thought anyhow. She bent down and grabbed her end of the rope. These games didn't last very long though right? Or so she hoped.
Romeo only gave Clay and Ter a half hearted smile and wave of his hand as the couple of them went off to cheer on the dragon. The black haired triplet decided it was probably best if he just went and sat on the other side of the field facing the rope. Sitting down by himself Romeo started to wish he had brought his new comic book or something to do. He was a little disappointed that Geia wasn't here, at least he'd talk to him.
The pudgy cowlet sat there to watch his sister take on Baroness in the tug 'owar. There was no way any of them could beat a dragon...was there?
"That was your brother?" Clay asked. He had been under the impression that the skirt wearing owl had been Ter's older sister. Though the red head really hadn't been paying much attention last time.
"Yeah okay," the boy said with a grin. It'd probably get on Deidre's nerves to be cheering on the dragon instead of her, it'd get her in her ego and she couldn't punch him in class! It seemed like the perfect set up.

Baroness seemed to get that much more excited as the girl picked up the rope and gave it a little tug to make sure that Deidre was actually going to try and not just fall over in a heap at the first pull... it would make the wyvern rather annoyed if the girl among all the boy was weakest.
Orpheus gave the wyvern a steady look, "Wait until I saw go, Baroness." He said to her before looking between the two, "On the count of three Deidre you start to pull first and then Baroness will. One... Two... Three..."
Ter gave a roll of his eyes and then nodded, "Yeah... hard to tell, huh? He's such a wimp." He muttered, then glanced over at Clay for a long moment and grinned, "How good are you at tackles?"

Deidre scowled a bit as she was tugged forward from Baroness' early pull. That made her take the rope a little more firmly, using both hands she readied herself squinting at Baroness. That dragon always did seem to be a little...gruff, even though she was supposed to be a girl dragon.
Deidre readied herself until Orpheus counted down then she dug in her heels and pulled on the rope, hard.
Clay looked at Ter curious at the question he just asked, "I've been working on tackling the sand bag in the basement a lot. You gotta be able to tackle good to play football...why?" He asked grinning a little. He wondered what Ter could be thinking of.

Baroness gave a little grunt when the little cow girl started to tug on the rope and was pleasantly surprised by her strength. The wyvern's tail set to lashing behind her in a delighted manner as she felt the rope being tugged on, shifting her stance before she started to pull back. For the girl, since she like her and was impressed by her, she would be careful how hard she pulled. She didn't want to knock over the one she was impressed with after all.
"Good job Deidre! Keep it up just a little longer!" Orpheus called out to the girl, as impressed with how well she was doing as Baroness was. He turned to look between Clay and Romeo then and smiled, "Decide amongst yourselves who is going next." He told the boys.
The end of Ter's long coils swished back and forth for a moment, "Just an amusing thought was all." He said with a grin, aside from Geia he could think on a few others where it would be amusing to see get bowled over by Clay.

Deidre seemed to not really care what Orpheus was saying. She just wanted to finish this ridiculous game. She grunted a bit as the dragon tugged back and the girl pulled even harder in response. Just about the only thing she shared in common with Clay was her sense of competitiveness. She would show up her brothers and be proud of it. She knew it wouldn't be hard.
Clay shrugged at Ter then laughed once Orpheus told them to decide who would go next, "You can go next fatty, I wanna see that," He said with a chuckle. Truth be told he didn't want to go right after Deidre just in case she really was stronger than him. If he went after Romeo, at least he knew he'd be able to outdo his brother.
Romeo shrunk back a little as Clay called him fatty but he just laughed it off nervously, "O-Okay..." He said standing up and waiting for Deidre to finish.

The wyvern's tail was lashing that much faster when the small girl started to tug on the rope that much harder, showing off her real strength and she was near to purring in delight. Yes, yes... she liked this one she thought before glancing over at the two boys who would be next. She gave a little growl before he gave a tug on the rope, a little harder this time so that she could move onto the game with the other two.
Both would be fun to topple she decided, grinning around the leather ring she held in her sharp teeth.

Deidre stumbled a bit at the harder tug as Baroness finally made the rope pass the line that signaled that Deidre lost, "Crud!" She exclaimed as she dropped the rope when she lost. She didn't want to play this game in the first place but regardless she didn't like to lose. Moving away to vacate the rope for Romeo Deidre grumbled a bit as she went to sit against a tree.
Romeo looked a little nervous as he looked at Mr. Solon for a moment before going toward the rope. He knew he wouldn't do too good at this, but if the teacher said he had to...then he had too. He picked up the end of the rope before glancing at Baroness a moment with a nervous smile, "Good luck Baroness," He said. He had good manners, even though he knew she didn't need the luck.
Clay grinned as his brother stepped up to the rope. This would be amusing to watch.

Baroness did purr this time as the first of the boys came over and picked up the rope, him telling her 'good luck' only caused her excitement to rise. Luck? Ha! As though she needed luck, she would win this one with pure skill and her natural strength.
Orpheus gave Deidre a smile as she walked away from the rope, "Good work." He said before turning back to the two ready for the game, "Alright, Romeo get read... one, two, three... GO!" He called out to them.
The wyvern started to lash her tail quickly and waited for the boy to stared pulling before she started.
