Home! Finally he was home and it was wonderful! He'd survived, and even brought back a (possible)new member! He still looked a bit...well, scruffy, but that wasn't anything a few days in the pride wouldn't fix. He trotted a bit ahead of Gaelia, to look around and regain his bearings in the lands. And then he fell back to move beside her, to show he was escorting her in.
"This is my home." And lying beneath those words was what he was scared of speaking, for fear she might indeed leave. 'And yours if you wish.'

She followed him a bit warily, ready to defend what she was doing at any given moment. If the lions she met now were good and made the right impression on her, then the future looked rather bright, especially with Juu nearby. Lately she couldn't really think of her new friend in any other place than beside her, so if things didn't work out here, Gaelia wasn't sure what she would do next.
"It's beautiful," she agreed, looking around some more. She could see something in the distance, and didn't know what to call it. She would be sure to ask Juu what to call it once they got near it, if they did at all. It looked like..a half of a dome. An open place in the ground and above it. It was strange.

He had pried himself away from Tapanga now that they were home to return to his duties as a warrior. Tapanga was hopefully getting along with the other huntress and would have good things to tell him when he returned from his patrol of the border.
He was enjoying the work so far. He had only done so much before he had been separated from the pride and it gave him hope for the future that things had returned to normal so soon.

Juu nodded at Gaelia. It was a beautiful land...fruitful and full of life an-wait. The dust-colored lion blinked at an unfamiliar coat he spied through the grasses. Had the pride gained new members while he was lost? He rather hoped so! And by the amount of fur on his head, the other in the grasses was male. The young Asikari turned his yellow eyes back to Gaelia.
"I think I see one of the other Asikari. Now we can go about things properly and he can lead us to the kings you need to meet." And he could meet a new pride member! He rather liked the idea that his family was growing. And so he started forward. "Good day, sir!"

Oh, so it was going to happen this fast? Gaelia eyed the other male warily as they trotted up closer to him. The sandy mane blended in well with the grasses surrounding them; nearly so much as that she didn't see exactly where he was.
She didn't shout out a greeting with Juu's just in case it was one of those 'be quiet until spoken to or introduced' kind of things. She wasn't sure how this pride's inner politics and mannerisms worked (and though she could care less for the former, and probably the latter as well, it was of vital importance that she make a good impression on whomever she met in the pride first).

He turned his head when he heard a voice calling out ot him. Given the fact that whoever it was seemed overly happy to talk to him he figured this had to be one of the returning trainees. Kichembee had told him that there were those who were still out and even some that had been sent out since the pride had banded together again.
"Good day.."

Juu stopped not too far from the other male and bowed his head respectfully. "My name is Tamaa-kaa'juu. I've just returned to the pride lands from my trial, and I've brought an outsider with me. Since I am not officially an Asikari yet...I am afraid we're both in need of a guide to the kings."

For a moment, the brown lioness watched the exchange silently. Then she blinked, and realized that in order to wiggle her way into the pride, it might be helpful if she was at least a little polite. So she took a queue from Juu and bowed her head as well, keeping her eyes on the other male. Gaelia wasn't one to trust easily, so shee wasn't about to give her name to some complete stranger, even though Juu seemed to think him worthy of such.

He raised a brow as he looked at the lion and lioness behind him. He had brought Tapanga back with him but at least he'd been slightly more polite about doing it than this.
"She might want to actually introduce herself if she wants any sort of respect from me"

Oh dear...He'd hoped Gaelia's behavior wouldn't offend (he'd grown so used to it himself), but it appeared his hope was in vain. He looked to his friend, a pleading look in his eyes. "It's okay...he's an Asikari. He's trustworthy." He didn't say her name though. It was Gaelia's right to introduce herself, not his.

She knew that it was inevitable that her wariness and tough exterior would get her into trouble. And now it seemed that the one point in time where it would hurt more than help had already put a dent in her appearance to one of the pride's higher-ranking members.
Gaelia glanced at Juu, winced as she realized that her abruptness was not needed and very much not welcomed, and raised her head. "I am Gaelia. My apologies if my actions came off as rude; it is not often I find myself among trustworthy lions, and I acted out of instinct alone." She glanced at Juu again, hoping that was better.

"Well Gaelia ... if you can not learn to trust you will not be welcome here long. We are a family above all else and you must be able to trust your family." He knew the females had to be able to trust each other when they were hunting. Tapanga was learning how to depend on them and let them depend on her also. Just as the warriors must learn to depend on each other some times.
"If you have found yourself trusting Juu then you can trust the rest of us"

Juu smiled at her, nodding in agreement with the other male. That Gaelia admitted her fault was a step though...one that Juu could appreciate, even if the other could not. She would get there...and Juu hoped a great deal that he'd be around to see it. He'd grown used to her company, and didn't want to leave it, really.

She bowed her head in a nod, accepting the statement. "I'm sure that I will find myself doing exactly that soon enough." She was not going to completely change herself, however. But she would strive to be better.
For the sake of remaining in one place for a long time...perhaps even the rest of her life, if things worked out that way. Gaelia found herself glancing at Juu again, now in a more sideways manner than straight-out obviously. She would like to stay here, with him. She liked him.

He nodded slightly. "Juu. You should take her to see Nya and then take yourself to find Dohani or Jabari."
Nya would have a few things to teach Gaelia before she could join then on any hunting missions. She would be able to test out Juu's companion much better than he could. Juu on the other hand would have to make it known that he had returned and that he had done what was expected of him.
