(( This is a RP for myself, Kojak, Sarabi Adruenna, and Hitomi. FUN TIME! XD ... that is all. <<; ))
It had took some convincing, but Kojak had managed to get Wren to let him go out and visit somebody. A friend, of course, that he had the address of. The piece of paper was held carefully in his hand and he was double checking the address written on it before flying towards the building.
Wren had all most insisted that he come along and take him there himself, but Kojak had convinced him otherwise. ( Actually, he hadn't. Wren had followed Kojak for most of the way and he still was relatively close by and watching the feien. Kojak knew this, but since Wren wasn't right there and being far too worried about him, it was fine. ) Convincing Wren had taken him using the phrase 'Cut the cord all ready!', which he had picked up from one of the other house occupants. It worked quite well.
Regardless, Kojak had to get up to the sixteenth floor and once he was inside the building, he started his journey up the floors one by one. Eventually, he reached the sixteenth floor and the door he believed to lead to Hitomi's home. Putting on that charming smile of is, he moved forward to punch in the doorbell and wait for the door to be answered.

The exterior of the apartment building is nothing too fancy. Just washed out red brick. Bright golden numbers shine and glisten above an overly ornate white stone archway.
Inside the apartment a loud buzzer sounds and causes Sarabi to start as she looks over a small canvas. She is wearing an apron covered in paint over her dingy work clothes. She wanders to the door and unclasps a efw locks before sliding the large metal door open.
Hitomi sits perched behind Sarabi on a mini easel that is set up out of matchsticks and small bits of canvas. She is being very careful not to get paint on herself. As the doorbell rings she jumps up and grins widely. "Yay! A visitor!" She quickly scrambles after Sarabi as she walks from the room. She arrives just in time to see the door slide open and view the guests. "Kojak! You came!!!"

"Hello Miss." Kojak's voice was pleasant and he smiled up at Sarabi once she was revealed and the door was opened. He was still in the air, eyes focused on Sarabi and no longer looking at the outside of the apartment. At the sound of Hitomi's voice, his smile became wider and he waved his hand. "Good afternoon, Hitomi." Dual colored eyes studied both of young ladies before him, his head tilting to the side a little. "I'm not disturbing you, am I?"
Honestly, he didn't think he was. Not with the way that Hitomi was cheerful at his visit, but the question was there.

Sarabi looked around herself a bit questioningly. "You must be a friend of Hitomi's." Sarabi has only been to the shop once before she left for the moon and hadn't been back since. She had seen very few other Feiens in her time there but this was by far one of the more unique of the lot. "Umm..no, no interruptions. We were just painting. Please come in." She slid to the side to allow him entrance although he just as easily could flown over her shoulder.
"I can't believe you actually came? And Mr. Wren let you come? That's surprising. Sarabi hardly ever lets me go anywhere cause I get lost easy. Except for the shop cause I'm getting used to finding my way back home from there." She flitted up to meet him, "Mamma, this is Kojak, he's my friend. I met him at the shop. He has a tail." She then turned to Kojak, "This is my house!"
The house was kept in a semi-permanent state of organized chaos. Stacks of papers here and there almost all of them were paperclipped to photos of strange looking children. The interior is loft style, the main level is wide open and cleverly decorated. A level upstairs serves as their bedrooms. Along the right-hand banister is a pulley system that Hitomi rigged up herself. A small basket is attached to a thin bike chain and when goods, or a Faerie, is put into the basket and a button is pushed they are quickly whisked away up the stairs.

"Yes, I am. My name's Kojak, like Hitomi said, and I do have a tail." Which he even swished from side to side, after loosening it from being wrapped around his leg. "It's a pleasure to meet you," Kojak said, smiling up at Sarabi and then nodding at her explanation. "Both you and Hitomi like to paint then?" Kojak had all ready figured that humans were just as diverse as feiens and not all humans were human -- living in Wren's home had taught him that. "Thank you for letting me into your home."
Hitomi's, the little whirlwind, words weren't lost to him and he went on inside before he spoke to her. "He did, but only because I told him I could take are of myself." In so many words. "I think he followed to make sure I was all right, but I got here fine." Kojak flew over nearby to Hitomi, looking around and then turning to smile at her. "This is a nice home. It reminds me of the library at my home ..."
That place was Wren's work space at home. Which meant that it was likely cluttered with papers and books and everything else possible. The joys of him being a writer. On the bright side, on the right days, for the right sized beings, it could be an area fit for adventure.

Sarabi chuckled happily, "Well I'm glad that Hitomi is making friends instead of scaring folks off. Welcome Kojak. Yes, we do enjoy painting. Hitomi is comming along famously. She'll be a regular little Mini DaVinci before long." She turned and motioned towards the apartment, "Our home is yours, if you need anything just ask!" She scoote back to her canvas and resumed her careful brush strokes leaving Hitomi and Kojak to fend for themselves.
Hitomi waited patiently for Sarabi to stop talking before she erraticly flew to a table, "Well I'm glad you were able to come, followed or not. But I know how that is. Mamma sends those stupid sprockets with me where ever I go usually, it's really annoying. So uh...welcome to my house! This is the living room, even though it's not really a room cause this is all one room. So this is the living...area I guess." She turned and pointed to where Sarabi was, "That's our art nook, it has a great view of the city. It's very inpirational. That's also where I make stuff, I assemble stuff there and then install it where it needs to go. Like the flying basket on the stairs!" She turned a bit more, "That's the kitchen and where we eat. Mamma mainly eats, I nibble. I like cookies! So...what would you like to do!"

DaVinci, Kojak knew, was an artist. It was something he had learned after having to look up the other name that Hitomi had mentioned originally. "Thank you, ma'am. I'll remember that." Kojak gave Sarabi another smile and a wave as she went back to her work and focused on Hitomi.
Which focusing on her lead to having to follow here and he flew along at a sedate pace behind her, catching up. "Well, my bonded will have to learn I can take care of myself." Kojak nodded his head. It was all ready obvious he was mature, more than his bonded at times, which was kind of bad in some way. He followed Hitomi around, letting her give him a brief tour of the place. "Well," he finally said, looking around the place and studying the view for a moment before turning to gaze at the basket. "could you show me that first?" Because he was curious. She had made it herself? It looked fairly complicated.

"Okay sure! Then we can go upstairs and you can see my room!" Hitomi fluttered over to the small easter egg basket. It was suspended from the chain and looked almost like a Hot Air Balloon sans balloon. She gently alighted into the basket and smiled broadly at Kojak. It felt good to show her friends around her house. It made it feel as if her friends really cared. "I made most of this myself. Except for hte motor, mom bought that for me. And I didn't make the chain of course, she bought that too. But I put it all together." She looked down and blushed a little bit and just about mumbeled, "I don't fly all that well so I needed help to get upstairs." She then looked back up at Kojak with a look of hope on her face, he didn't think less of her did he? She sincerely hoped he didn't, "But it's also a lot of fun! Get in and I'll show you how it works. I made sure to make it big enough for a few of us to get in."

Kojak somehow managed to keep up with Hitomi, watching her set the basket properly. "It looks really good. I'm not really good with my hands, so I don't think I could do something like this, so this is pretty cool ..." It was meant to be a flattering statement, even if it was truthful. He landed on the ground finally, taking the chance to get a look at the contraption from all angles. He was focusing on it, trying to see if he could figure out how it worked. "But if you can't fly well, perhaps you should practice more so you can?" No, he didn't think any less of her. After all, he wasn't nearly as fast as her and she didn't even seem phased.
"All right, let me get in." Kojak smiled brightly at Hitomi, climbing into the basket and looking around. The view from the inside was different from the one from the outside. "So ... how does it work?" he asked her curiously, fingers hanging onto the edge and his tail swishing behind him. It actually gave away the fact he was enjoying this a lot.

Hitomi looked around them both to make sure they were safely inside. "Like this!" She reached above her head and pulled out a screw that was apparently tied to the basket and let it drop. The chain began chugging along, much like going uphill on a roller coaster. Hitomi smiled happily. To her this basket ride was an everday occurance. No one else had ever ridden in her basket so she looked forward getting his opinions. As they reached the summit on the upper level she quickly grappeled for the screw and shoved it back into the chain to put the brakes on the basket. The stopping wasn't quite as smooth as the launch, but it did it's job none the less. She adjusted her glasses that were josteled by the rough landing. She climbed over the edge of the basket and fluttered to the floor. "And we're here!"

Kojak hadn't expected the movement so suddenly, and the surprise showed on his face before it rapidly turned to a bright smile. He was looking out the side and watching the basket carry them along. This was great! And it made things easier to get to places without having to fly everywhere.
Making sure to hold onto the basket as the ride came to the end, he finally got out and smiled at Hitomi. "I see that." Kojak's tail continued to swish back and forth with rapidly, that and the gleam in his eyes showing that he enjoyed himself. "That was fun and it's easier than having to fly everywhere."

Hitomi fluttered up to a table that had a few assorted hacky sacks all arranged in a little circle on it. One was patterned after an 8-Ball, another was black with a large skull and cross bones. Another was green with a large white shamrock. The one that Hitomi chose, however, was bright pink and covered in blue and what clouds. She walked over to it and flopped down. She had been fairly active since Kojak arrived and her body was a tired now. "Wanna come join me? These are actually fairly comfortable. Mamma had them stashed away. This is our bedrooms by the way!" She motioned to a dresser drawer that was pulled open just enough for a feien to fit through, "That's where I sleep. It's like my own little apartment."

"Sure." Kojak responded, after he got up on the table and landed. He inspected each of the hacky sacks before finally choosing the one that was patterned after an 8-ball. Of course, he had to push it over so that it was close to Hitomi's and not so far away.
Despite the fact that he usually could go do just about anything without getting tired, the trip here had worn him out somewhat. Sitting down was perfect. "These really are comfortable," he spoke quietly, pushing back and then settling down onto the hacky sat. "Oh. That looks interesting." He lifted himself up a little to look in that direction. "I share a space with Valsharess -- she's another feien like us -- and someone called Gallium. They're ... different."

"There's only me and Mamma here, but Shenandoah lives here too, but she usually stays on the roof during the day. That's probably why she's not in here right now. Her bed is over there," She motioned to a small bed in a corner of the loft. "She's the North Star, she came back with us from the moon!" She noticed that Kojak had scooted closer and she smiled before blushing and looking down at her hands.

Mostly Kojak had only moved closer so that he wouldn't have to lean in case she spoke softly or some such. His lips twitched a bit at her blush, trying to not grin a little wider. Instead, he just followed her words and looked to where she pointed.
"You mean a star in the sky?" That seemed odd, that the star had come back down with them. Well, this place they were was odd in general. There was a briefly curious look on his face. "... but," he said slowly, "there's a lot of people at my home. I don't think I've even met them all."
