So last week was Freshman Orientation and I wasn't looking forward to it. We drove 8 hours to get there and the next morning was Orientation's beginning. I was SO pissed, having to sit there and listen to old people talk about money and FAFSA stuff. But it wasn't like that ate all.

I'll never forget what I saw from almost everyone...63% of the school are all gay and At one of the parties...I was asked to dance.
But it wasn't just the gay guys, pretty much everyone I met are really cool and nice and my roommate was really neat.

The next day, my mom was on campus for the parent meeting and we were both in the lunch room. We sat down to talk about our days and she made the comment that "Eww, there are alot of gay people here."
And I was like, So what?
"Ughh..don't get started Dani. Don't yu go getting into that stuff."
"Uh..mom my whole reason being here is to get to know people regardless of who they are attracted to."(I felt like I was hiding something ;P)
"Uhh, just be careful of what you get into."

Now, she is always in my business ever since we got back. Everytime I'm talking to a boy, she asks if he has a girlfriend and stuff..."

Regardless of my mom freaking out though...I think I will enjoy this college and not just because of the guys though.

Yes, I am. I met my roommate and he says, he may not be going to the school and the board said that I may keep it as a single. O.o I'm happy because the honors dorms were overcrowded, but I might still get a single.
