Inks and You

*NOTE: THIS SCHEME IS LONG TERM AND WILL DEMAND PATIENCE AND A BRAIN*

The basis of this scheme revolves around White Ink and it's components.

First off: To make White Ink
User Image

White Ink is made from, as you can see, 5 Green, 5 Red, and 5 Blue Inks.

Next: The materials

Green Ink can be made from 50 bugs--Grasshoppers and Green Dragonflies. The bugs can be mixed (i.e. 25 Grasshoppers + 25 Green Dragonflies = 50 bugs).

Also, Green Ink happens to cost an average of 100g on the market.

Red Ink can be made from the same amount of bugs--Red Flies, Red Butterflies, Red Beetles, and Red Dragonflies. These can also be mixed.

Red Ink is an average of 100g on the market.

Blue Ink can be made from--Blue Beetles, Blue Dragonflies, and Blue Butterflies.

Blue Ink, for some odd reason, costs 200 to 220g on the market.

Next: Getting the materials

The cheapest method of getting Green Ink is to collect the bugs yourself. If you're too lazy, I have other methods available, listed by cheapest to most expensive:

--Collecting bugs yourself
--Buying bugs at 1g each (you save about 50g)
--Buying bugs at 2g each (you end up with using up 100g exactly)
--Buying the ink itself

*The Green Ink Rule is: Never buy Green Ink more than 100g*

Red Ink follows the EXACT SAME PARAMETERS.

Blue Ink is the same, but I suggest either catching the bugs or buying the ink. Don't buy the bugs, because they're only a rip-off.

*The Blue Ink Rule: Never buy Blue Ink over 200g*

After: Doing the math

5 Green Ink + 5 Red Ink + 5 Blue Ink = 1 White Ink

1 Green Ink = 100g x 5 = 500g
1 Red Ink = 100g x 5 = 500g
1 Blue Ink = 200g x 5 = 1000g

1 White Ink = 2000g

This is the estimated worth of the White Ink you've just created. The White Ink market price ranges between 2000g to 2400g, so as long as you sell the ink OVER 2000g, you've made a profit!! It may be minimal, but it's some!

BUT, the 100g per ink is only a MAX price. If you sit and wait patiently, you can catch inks for 30g a bottle!! I sold ten bottles of white ink via this method and won an estimate of 10,000g surplus!

WARNING: Don't think that there's no difference between 100g ink and 103g ink! In the long run, it makes a HUGE difference! Save your gold and refresh until you're desired price comes up.

Tips: Type down your password and copy and paste it for quick buys, especially when the really good deals come up. Don't want someone to win the prize before you just because you had to type out your password!!

For those of you intending to make your own body ink, this is a must--you can save over 100k on making your own dye here!!

Free Gifts-- Blessings In Disguise

This is a pretty short project. Cash is quick but tiny--this takes a while for big results to rake in...unless you know what you're doing.

Whenever you win that useless item via daily chance or overseer, if it isn't something you want, what's your first instinct (if you're me)?

Sell it, right?

Now, which method do you prefer? Simply selling or pleading to the market? Usually, I check the lowest market prices and compare it to the sell price of the item (if it has one).

For example, the new Verizon Phone sells for exactly 250g while on the market, it could be 249 or 250g, give or take. Usually, I go safe and simply sell the item to Gaia, not to the market.

But this isn't what I'm here to talk about; the story behind this scheme is the object of the scheme's name:

When checking my overseer/daily chance, I won a [item]. Naturally, since I didn't need it, I decided to sell it. While checking its information--Gaia sell price versus market price--I noticed something--

The item was worth (this is an example) 1000g in a store, meaning that it has a sell value of 500g to Gaia, right? But to buy it on the marketplace, it was only 400g!!

I was aghast, especially since this wasn't one of those one-time things when someone decided to practically donate an item to the market--this was the real thing; the rest of the market followed the same average of 400g!!

I've seen the same with other items and I began to realize--I could make cash off this.

So what do you need to do?

Hunt

Look around. Find items selling for less than half their store price.

Buy

Don't make me spell this.

Sell

Just sell it to Gaia. If I bought the item from my story off the market, then sold it to Gaia, then I just made 100g. Now, in the longer run, I can re-use this scheme and make more money!

Inflation

Guess what happens when you keep buying? Prices rise! All of a sudden, those cheap items you bought? Well, they just became worth more! 400g, with a little market manipulation, can rise to more than 500g!

Of course, you need to set standards. Like with the inks, set a limit: don't buy items over this price, etc. That way, you can maximize your profit and organize your planning and such.

Hope this is understandable and helpful!!

Home Renovations

I'm sure there are some people out there who, like me, have a great abundance of useless home items like wall and floor tiles, the like.

This plan, you will soon learn, is a specific version of the previous plot ^^'

The average matte wall/floor tile sells (directly to Gaia) for 25g. Now, if you go to the market, you can find the same items for a LOT less than 25g.

The plan?

Simply buy cheap home items that are less than half their store price, go to your inventory, and sell them to Gaia for the half price. And yes, fools, this is a devotion-demanding scheme, because you're not gonna make that much cash for a while.

WARNING: Apparently, Gaia confused me and my quick spending for a bot about THREE times -.- I wasn't banned, but I did have to wait at least an hour each time before I was allowed on Gaia again. Be wary when flying around.

Short, ya? heart
