One task that Drez really didn't like was going to the store to get groceries, but on the up side he did get to chose what he wanted to eat and if he wanted extras that weren't on his mothers list. Staying close to his mother until he had gotten the lay out of the store to go off on his own.
"So do you want to go and chose some fish that you want?" Val asked.
"I do," he said all giddy as he just loved fish and it was also fun to make the person behide the counter be shocked he knew what type of fish they had.
"You can pick out a few different types and I will be over once I have gotten the other things we need," she said and thought it would be easyer to get the things she need without him commeting on everything.
Drez headed off to where the store kept all the fresh fish and his tounge led him the way there.

Laial loved going out to the store -- especially since it meant that Heiko could sit in the shopping cart, with the help of Evan, of course -- and he could wheel around the dragon and listen to her pleased, happy squeaking. His flip-flops made a rather impressive cacophony as he careened down the aisle toward the fresh fish market, where there was a big tank of lobster and shrimp swimming around free.
He'd simply left Evan behind while the writer pondered between Oreos and Fudge Stripes with nothing but a sneaky little agreement not to go too far. Well, how far was too far? Laial had no idea, but he was going to assume that it extended to the lobster tank. He was also going to ignore the fact that there were shellfish on ice -- the thought made him feel a liiiittle bit queasy, and he hefted his shell a little bit as he pulled up Heiko just short of smashing into the fish tank. "Oh wow, that one's -huge-, Heiko!" said Laial, plastering his face against the cold glass and watching a gigantic lobster toddle around.

Getting nearer to his destination he heard someones flip-flops and a cart as well as he slithered closer, but he didn't think about it too much as it was common in here. But slithering out of one of the aiales that was near the lobster tank and took in the scents in the area to find the fish that he wanted and found one of those scents to be very intregueing and not like everything else.
Slithering over to the source by the lobster tank and went around the tank to meet the person that was the sorce of the intersting scent. He even got more excited when his tounge flicked out and picked out another scent that remined him of dragons but this one was very different from the ones he had met. "So what you looking at?" he asked Laial even tho he knew what was in the tank as he looked at the tank and back at the boy.
