A small room, it is almost completely bare except for a row of books at the base of a wall. The next wall has at the base of it what seems to be multiple glass bottles, like in Nerull's box, but alot more and more various. The door has multiple skulls of different creatures nailed to it. Some hard to recognise, others disturbingly familiar.

Nerull is sitting in the middle of the floor, reading an old tome, waiting for someone.

Darklyte walks up to the door that is to Nerull's room. I see that he found one for himself. Darklyte observes. She then knocks and waits for Nerull. She can smell his scent coming from inside.

Darklyte opens the door and walks through the doorway. "Hello Nerull. I am here to continue my lessons." Darklyte states as she closes the door behind her.

Nerull stands up, leaving the tome on the floor. He then hands Darklyte a piece of paper with a single sentence on it. He calmly says, "Please read this."

Darklyte tries really hard to stay calm, but someone who really knows Darklyte can sense that something is up. Aww man... How many people must know this... Darklyte complains in her own mind. She takes the paper and just stares blankly at it with her mind whirling. What am I gona do? I can't fake it because he knows how to read and what it says... And I will be considered a fool and lame because I can't read, or even write. He is going to get mad at me for having to start at the very basics with me... Darklyte then drops her ears and tail, closes her eyes, and hands Nerull the paper back. "I am sorry, but I cannot tell you what is written." Is all that Darklyte says.

Nerull takes back the paper and puts it away, "I figured as much in class today. I just needed to confirm it." He walks to the back wall and stands there for a few seconds.
He then turns toward Darklyte with a grin on his face, "Well, now's as good a time as any. Take a seat," a desk appears in the middle of the room. "Pay attention," the back wall turns into a blackboard, "And let me teach you the wonders of literature."

Gaah! Is it really that noticeable? Darklyte wonders in her own mind when Nerull says that he had suspicions of her not being able to read because of class. She then looks down at the floor when Nerull walks to the back wall. I have probably got to be the worse pupil he has ever had. Darklyte then remembers something. Oh, wait, I am his first, so make that ever will have... Darklyte is a bit startled when Nerull turns around, has a desk form in front of her and a blackboard behind him. He doesn't mind? Darklyte then takes a seat and carefully listens.

Nerull continues with his dramatics, "Today you enter this room illiterate. But you shall leave with one of the greatest gifts sentient creatures can achieve!!" A piece of chalk starts to write on the board, Nerull walks up to Darklyte in the desk, "Now, let's begin."
((Just wondering, but would you be ok with a timeskip for the actual reading lesson?))

Darklyte tries not to laugh at Nerull's dramatics. She then wathces as the piece of chalk starts to write on the board.
((Yes, it is okay to do a timeskip. Oh, and another thing. I read the Aaron's and Auro's room that they have their swords with them. They are suppose to leave then at the gym, the only ones allowed to have weapons on campus is the crew. So if you could please, since you are now crew and there really is no opening for me to do something about it, let them know. Thankies ^-^))

Hours later, after the lesson, Nerull says, "Ok, let's review what you've learned. Tell me each letter and its sound." He points to different letters one at a time and listens to her answer for each.

Man, do I have to be here much longer? This is so boring. I don't know why people make it such a big deal to know how to read. Darklyte tried really hard to stay awake for the session, but there were a few times where she almost slipped up. Darklyte then proceeds to tell Nerull the letter and it's sound as he points to each of them.

Nerull stops the reading lesson, "I think that's enough for reading today, let's get to what you came here for." The desk and blackboard disappears. "Now we'll get started on your magic."

Darklyte was at a stage where she was about to fall asleep again when Nerull made the desk disappear. It caught her off guard and she almost hit the floor before she was able to catch herself. She is now floating in the air. That would have been embarrassing. Darklyte thinks. She stays floating in the air when she hears Nerull says that we will continue with her magic session. All right! Time for some fun! Darklyte thinks to herself. She then rises a little bit and crosses her legs.
