Valens wasn't exactly the most brilliant creature in the world, leaning far more toward the physical then he did the mental. It didn't mean that he didn't try though... it just meant he wasn't the best at something things. Currently he was doing his best to figure out romance and how to go about doing something of that manner. He was failing he was sure... was it even cool to go out for movie and a meal anymore? Should he have invited Damaris out to something more interesting? He was asking himself this over and over again as he walked along toward where he thought her place was.

Luckily for the horse boy his dragoness was with him to keep him heading in the right direction, giving soft sighs here and there around the bag she was carrying in her teeth. Ahh... in Bahamut's name... how did she get partnered up with this boy she asked herself. Not that she would trade him for the world mind you, she loved the boy dearly... she quickly added. She loved Valens and didn't want anyone to think otherwise... at least no mind readers that might be about since she was just thinking such things to herself.

"What else is romantic?" Valens asked of the dragoness.

She looked up at him for a long moment then glanced down at the bag she was carrying, then gave a shrug. She had no idea! And this bag had nothing to do with romance since she had no interest in such things at the moment. It was just a gift to a friend of hers and nothing more then that she thought, tail swishing behind her in a slight agitated and embarrassed sort of manner.

Valens looked down at the bag she was carrying before giving a snap of his fingers, "Good idea, a present." He looked back and forth, wondering what he could get for Damaris between where he was and where he was going. No stores that he could recall, even small ones... so what should he get? What did girls like? Candy was out... so was anything shiny since he'd already done that... flowers? Yes! His dark, chocolate colored eyes darted back and forth before he spotted a rainbow of flowers. He starred at them for a long moment, "Get ready to run Ellie."

The Silver Dragon's eyes went huge, "Wha...?" She watched in shock as the boy bolted forward, grabbed up a bunch of brightly colored flowers growing in someone's yard and was suddenly running down the sidewalk at full speed. She blink, jaw dropping open, and she dropped her bag, "V-Valens!" She cried, grabbing up the bag again so she could rush after him, appalled at what she'd just seen.

Valens was laughing once they were several blocks away from the scene of the crime. He had flowers and surely those were something that would impress a girl he thought to himself. He gave no second thought to the person who's yard he'd stolen the plants from or the fact that he'd left a bunch of hoof prints in the yard that would most likely confused the hell out of said person. All that mattered to him was that he had a pretty colored, nice smelling gift to give to Damaris when he to her place.

Behind him, trailing a bit and looking rather embarrassed by everything was poor Ellie. When she was finally able to catch up she gave her boy a looked, "Not good Valens." She told him, giving him a look as though to say that what he had done was very, very naughty!

He merely reached his free hand down to pat her on the head, "Come on now, Ellie. I think that Damaris will like the flowers very much." He told the dragoness, perking up more when he saw that despite his miserable sense of direction that when he was running full out and not attempting to get anywhere but away that instinct had brought him in the right direction, "Awesome! This has got to be my lucky day." He chirped.

He lifted one hand to brush himself off of anything that might be clinging to him, shook his braid out, then started forward to go and knock on the door.

Ellie gave a soft groan and followed along after him. If nothing else at least she would have another dragon to talk with today she thought to herself. It was always nice to speak with one of her own kind.

Valens tail set to swishing behind him as the door opened up and he smiled his bright smile before he held the stolen flowers out to the lizard girl, "I got you some flowers!" He said in an excited manner, hoping that she would like the flowers.

Ellie let her eyes close for a moment while the girl gave her a pat on the head, enjoying it before she noticed that her boy was holding out his ill gotten goods. He blinked a couple times before giving a shake of her head, "Is Red here?" She asked around the bag that she was holding.

The horse's ears twitched a bit before he gave a little laugh, "Well... um... they grew in a garden." He said with a grin. He didn't want to lie to her so if she asked him where he got them he would tell her honestly. So long as she didn't want to bring them back...

"Any idea which movie you want to see?" He asked of her, he'd looked through the paper to see what was out and while the one with the explosions looked the best he figured he should ask Damaris. After all there were some romantic type, girly movies... she might want to go and see one of those instead.

Ellie gave a smile and a nod of her head to Damaris before she left the lizard girl to play with Valens. It would be nice to get a little break from taking care of him. She looked into the kitchen just ahead of Damaris and looked over at the other dragon, "Hello Red." She greeted the Blue dragon before trotting over to him. The little Silver sat down next to him and set the bag next to him, tail swishing behind her, "I brought some of Miss Lamiah's cookies for you."

Valens seemed all that more excited when he saw that she didn't mind the source of the flowers. That was a good sign, "There are a lot of cool movies out." He said, tail swishing behind him, "What sort of movies do you like?" If he knew that he would be able to tell her about the ones that were currently playing.

His eyes were drawn to the sparkle of the necklace she was wearing and his tail only set to wagging that much more quickly behind him. She still had it? Still wore it too! It caused him so much excitement and delight to see.

Ellie gave a smile before she settled down next to the Blue dragon, glad to see that he liked the food that was brought to him. Her tail set to swishing as she awaited his thoughts on how the cookies tasted.

Valens gave a nod of his head, "Sounds like a plan." He told her, looking over toward the kitchen, "Have fun Ellie! Be good!" He called, though he doubted highly that there would be anything to worry about with her. She was so... well behaved that it almost drove him crazy at times. A very good girl... but at least that meant that they didn't have to worry about a lot of trouble between the Silver and the Blue... Ellie was well behaved and Red didn't seem to have the energy or desire to cause random destruction.

"Yeah, I'm all ready." He said, tail swishing behind him. He couldn't wait, he wanted to get some candy and soda when he got to the movie theater as well, he wasn't allowed to have it at home so he took advantage of when he was out and about.

"Its not to long a walk to the theater." He said to Damaris as they stepped outside, at least according to what the addresses said and what his parents had said... though... he wasn't sure how long it would take unless the lizard girl knew how to get there since his own sense of direction was iffy at best.

Ellie looked in the direction of her boy's voice as he called to her to be good. She wanted to call after him that he needed to the same... then she was distracted by Red digging into his bag of cookies and she perked up at that. He seemed to be enjoying the treats and that made her one happy dragoness.

"There is plenty good out, various different sorts of types of movies to." He said before he looked over toward the lizard girl and gave her a bright smile, "We can go and see one of those... girly flicks if you want." He offered, not sure if that were her sort thing. He was sure that she might like it given that genre of movie was supposed to be best suited for girls. He himself would rather see something with explosions, battles, and girls running around in a scantily clad manner... though at the same time watching anything that contained the last thing might get him beaten to a pulp by the lizard girl.

The thought caused him to smile a little, unable to keep from doing so. He lifted his hands up to fiddle with his braids in a thoughtful sort of manner before he glanced over at one of Damaris's hands... then smile more, "So... do we hold hands?" He asked, curiously. He'd seen it done one television so many they should try that?

Ellie smiled in returned, her large wings giving a flutter, "I am glad you like them." She said in a happy manner, already making plans for what she should bring to him the next time that she came over to visit her friend.

Valens came to a momentary pause as he turned to look at Damaris as she announced the sort of movie that she said she wanted to see and looked... wide eyed and quite delighted. His ears turned forward before his long tail set to swishing, "That's awesome! Those are the best sorts of movies." He said, sounding quite pleased with her choice of movie. Not only did it mean that he got to see a movie that he liked it meant he got out of watching one of those sappy girl flicks.

His happiness was only compounded by the fact that he got to hold her hand as they walked. As they said 'simple minds, simple pleasures' and that saying fit Valens so very well.

Ellie's tail swished lightly behind her as she watched her friend as he licked off his mouth to get one last taste of the cookies and did her best to keep from laughing about it. He could be so cute she thought to herself, adorable and kind of chubby she thought as she looked her friend over, "Maybe I will bring brownies next time." She told him, she'd tasted the brownies that Lamiah made before and they were quite wonderful!
