Tell a little bit of yourself. It can be a few sentences or a paragraph. Be sure to tell how you found the guild and what you believe. :3

I'm Robert. I am an Episcopalian with Gnostic leanings. I joined this guild because my good friend Rai invited me.
Edit: I'm also a member of the Crew. I was a non-believer at one point in my life and now I am a Christian. s**t from either will not be tolerated by me. This is a guild for coming together and possibly learning from each other, so no flaming from any side.

You stole my first post dude. >:O j/k razz
Anyways, I'm Rai. I created this guild. :3 I'm an eclectic pagan/agnostic/seeker. I created this guild because I got fed up with the way Christians are treated by non-believers and the way Christians treat non-believers. We shouldn't see constant bickering from both sides. And no one should force someone to convert if they don't want to. This guild is meant to make a bridge between both sides and form an alliance of sorts. :3

I love these tell a little bit about yourself things, I have that slight feeling that I'm in an AA meeting or something. But that's neither here nor there
I'm a Latter-Day Saint, and have been since I was practically born. My wife is Shadows-Shine, and we have one daughter. We are temple attending Latter-Day Saints, and so we are fully involved. I was invited by Rai and so I joined up. I don't try to start fights with others but sometimes I get angry with others for the lack of intelligent argument. But I realize everybody else has a different opinion than mine so I try not to disprove their opinion but to explain their opinion so that I can gain a better understanding.

Have fun and don't be afraid to tell me any suggestions you might have. :3 And post topics and what not. biggrin -hands you a box of cookies-

My name is clearly on one side of this post. I'm an Agnostic Atheist. Before someone goes ranting about how that's impossible, let me state that Rai-chama invited me, and I am Crew. I'm not gonna sit on my high horse and start dropping the banhammer for no reason, but have some respect for me, and I'll return it.
I'm also incredibly foul-mouthed and a bit of an a*****e, especially when it comes to incredibly stupid people. If I offend you, I suggest you suck it up unless Rai-chama says otherwise.

My name is Alex~ :]
I've been a Christian for... eh, close too two years this coming up fall! I am entering the tenth grade, so woot-woot. My grandparents are Jewish, but most my family is Christian. Back in seventh grade it seemed to me that science had disproved Christianity, I began to have doubts and soon was a total and complete Atheist. Then, sometime in eighth grade I began to feel an emptiness... So I looked for a religion, and found Buddhism. I began to follow the principles of Buddhism and considered myself to be one... Then the hole came back, a feeling of emptiness. But this time, I felt pulled towards Jesus and God. I tried to resist. I hid my Bible, and just all out didn't want to hear anything to do with God. I was running.
Then, one day we decided to go to Church. Well, my family dragged me with them (they didn't know I was a Buddhisty-anti-Christian person) and that service just shattered my wall of opposition and I went home and accepted the Lord as my Savior! ^^
Over the close to two years now, I have had many ups and downs with God. A few times I had fallen so far that I was looking into Islam and, at one point, Wicca. I am somewhat educated on those religions, needless to say.
I try to be open minded, but I will not compromise my beleifs to fit someone else's belief system. This does NOT mean that I am rude or evil to other people's beleifs. I am in several other religious guilds where I have interacted with the guild members on a really friendly level! :] I am also friends with many Muslims, Jews and Pagans! I beleive abortion is murder, homosexuality is not right, and that we need to start protecting our planet. I am pro-life and pro-green. I am not a fan of Obama and get very annoyed at a lot of the news and internet and how biased many TV stations are. Just me though! :]
I don't like Atheists who think they are intellectually superior to all people who beleive in an invisible deity of whom there is *seemingly* no proof. XD
I try to back my statements up with facts, and my faith is NOT just on... well faith (no pun intended)! I have looked at the facts and read quite a few books. Jesus ftGw <3 :]
I love reading, mainly sci-fi and fantasy books. I <3 Pokemon. Um... I plan on going into Theology or the Medical field when I grow up. :] I love the show Family Guy (I watch it a lot... XD) and... well, I think that's about it! O-o I have a tendency to ramble sometimes! XD
Oh! I love languages! I know a little bit of Chinese, am attempting Japanese (and have been for a few years) and am learning Spanish from school! :]
Haha, well... It's pretty cool beans to be in this guild!

Hello! I am a university student. I've been a Christian for about 13 years. I am a member in the Methodist church. My beliefs in Christ are very important to me but I don't always conform to what the church teaches; I also make convictions on my own even when they're different from the majority of CHristians. Sometimes I have doubts and fear that my beliefs actually aren't true and that there is nothing... no God or heaven. Actually I am still not entirely recovered from these doubts. It's difficult because I really don't want to live without faith, but I also need to know that there is a sufficient basis to belief that Christianity is true and sometimes I'm afraid that such a basis/"proof" doesn't exist sad

Hi, I just got an invite to this guild from Rai and thought I'd join.
I've variously been a neo-pagan (rather fluffy, though I never called myself Wiccan), an atheist and a Christian. I am currently in the wavering-Christian camp, though I have my issues with traditional Christianity. I generally attend a liberal Baptist church, although at heart I think I am an Anglican, unfortunately being an Anglican means having to get up early in the mornings whereas I can sleep in if I hang with the Baptists!
Um, useful information would be that I have an undergraduate MA in Divinity from a Scottish university, and I mostly focussed on (and did best in) Feminist Theology (and associated things like women in the first century) and anti-semitism. I have forgotten rather more than I remember though and don't claim to be an authority on Christianity at all.
Hopefully this guild will be good fun!

Rai invited me.
I'm a Catholic by birth with unorthodox beliefs. I don't hold the generally concept of "only those who believe in Jesus and accept him as their savior go to heaven" and am more broad viewed in that sense.

Hi, my name is Lark. I'm a 64-year-old retired Army nurse and Vietnam vet. Lady RaiXx invited me to join this guild.
I have been Wiccan (or more accurately part of Traditional Initiatory Witchcraft) for nearly 20 years. I have a 3rd Degree initiation in the Oak, Ash, and Thorn Tradition. I founded and ran Tangled Moon Coven here in Tennessee from 1996-2008. I am currently an Outer Court Seeker in a Gardnerian coven. Starting this fall I will be a member of the faculty at Cherry Hill Seminary, a Pagan seminary dedicated to preparing Pagan clergy and counselors.

Hey everyone! I'm here 'cause I was invited by Rai. I'm 16, entering my senior year of high school, and will study psychology in college. I accepted Jesus as my savior just over 5 years ago, but have yet to be baptized.
I was raised in the Church of Christ, my grandfather being a preacher, my father being a youth minister. For the past 5 or 6 years, however, my family and I have been attending a Baptist Church. When it comes to my beliefs, I dont have a strict conformity to any Christian demonimation. I believe things that are taught by the Church of Christ, but I also share Baptist beliefs. And there are parts of my beliefs that don't agree with either demonimation. So I usually just call myself a Christ Follower, because thats what I'm trying to do; I'm trying to live my life like Christ lived his, and how God wants me to live mine.
Just a bit of history: My biological father died when I was 5, my grandfather when I was 11. both were very sad and traumatic events, but I am nearing the end of my greiving, and overall they have helped me grow as a person and in my spiritual faith. My mom remarried, but my parents got a divorce back in January. As of a week ago, I am now living with my Dad, but see my Mom and brother regularly (esp since their apt is in walking distance!)
As a person, I am very open-minded, accepting of others, and will listen to anything anyone has to say. However, I am also very firm in my beliefs, and greatly dislike it when anybody disrespects me for them, or tries to force me away from them. (and I know, thats a little bit of a contradiction, but being contradictory of myself is part of my personality. its weird. i know.) So please respect my beliefs, and what I have to say, and I'll do the same for everyone else! smile

I've been scouring the guilds and came across your name and posts. :3 As long as you are accepting of others beliefs I can let the blasphemous remarks slide. :3
