Ommgggg, okay so I just had to have a nerdy gush moment because I'm going to this like, huge Joss Whedon nerd fest in about 10 days, and it's like completely sold out, but I got tickets like two weeks ago :3 They're playing Dr Horrible and then Serenity, and then having like a big browncoat party, and I'm about to die of excitement.
If you haven't seen Dr. Horrible... welllllll.... you really should.

Here's the trailer. Neil Patrick Harris is Dr Horrible, Nathan Fillion is Captain Hammer and Felica Day is this adorable girl named Penny.
You can probably see it on YouTube, but you can also buy the DVD or get the three webisodes (each 15 minutes long) for like five bucks on iTunes. I got the iTunes version way long ago to put on my iPod back when I didn't know they were going to turn it into a DVD, BUT... Joss being the amazing, insane man that he is added commentary to the DVD... but it's like, also a musical. Called Commentary! The Musical! Not even kidding, I went to a live screening of This American Life where he played one of the songs on stage and all I can say is... well, that man is my goddamn hero.

I HAVEN'T TOLD YOU TO SEE IT YET!? What kind of a friend am I, geeeze!! I spent like all of last year making relatives and like random people on the street watch it against their will. They always liked it in the end, though.

Dr. Horrible is frikkin awesome. There are some wonderful extras on the DVD, like the Evil League of Evil submission winners.
And wow...you say "like" a lot. Do you talk like that all the time or is it just 'cause your excited? I'm not trying to be rude. It just caught my attention.

Dude, no, you don't even know. I talk mostly just like I write (when I write informally) only a lot faster and louder, and with more cursing. It's pretty nuts.

Have you seen Commentary the Musical? It's on the DVD. It's Joss's commentary on the movie, plus cast, except they sing. It's pretty awesome.
