The morning fog was thick and bright, reflecting the early morning shine of the sun from behind the forest edge.
Cretin had, once again, refused to go back to the teepee in the forest. The dew weighed down her mane and the hood, making her very unhappy to lift her head once she had woken up. The sound of the water nearby was soothing, but it did nothing for her mood as she slowly rolled her way back onto her hooves. Grumbling she shook her mane and thought about shimmying her hood off... but then she would have to carry it back to the teepee in her teeth. Sighing she slowly walked through the mist towards the sound of the water. The weather was warm, and in the forest she felt closed in... this clearing with the water was like a little oasis. Eventually, though, she would return to watch the fire and dry out. The mist was not allowing her mane to dry.
Today was going to be a... heavy day.

His feathers ruffled and his mood slightly aggravated, Swellow found himself walking on the wet grass. It was an odd day to see this magnificent wind walking, he didn't prefer to have his hooves wet or dirty and yet today with the mist and the dampness he was walking through the forest head hung low and his body language rather standoffish.
Grumbling to himself he wondered how any mare would have a hold like that on him...one that would make him grounded such as he was, but it was no worry he would fly again one day. Hearing the familiar sound of water he winced slightly but something caught his eye. As he slowly made his way to the water he saw a very peculiar soquili. She was grounded as well but everything about her was different then the other he met...he watched her in the distance he wondered if she would like some company on this dreary day.
