Third times the charm! SO here I go trying this again. It's set in an original world, with a Fire Emblem type feel including the class system and whatnot. Hopefully that's ok. I'll try to make an actual FE roleplay later if/when I come up with something.

Story

They had lost.

No one could believe it. They. Had. Lost. Their beloved country of Drenn had fallen into Phelia's hands, and now the army (or what was left of it) could do not but retreat into the mountains to regroup.

It had been a long, bloody war, with many lives lost on either side, but Drenn, being the smaller kingdom, had suffered the most damage. Now their capital had been taken, and the king cut to his knees before Phelia's generals. What was left of the royal family had gone into hiding, or been slain, no one could be sure.

But still the once proud army of Drenn marched on. They were retreating, but they weren't going back to bend to Phelia's will either. They planned to regroup there, as best they could. But many of the soldiers were losing hope. Their families could be in danger, and there was nothing they could do. And on top of that, winter was fast approaching in the unforgiving mountains of Drenn's borders. Add that to the ferocious packs of wolves, and the potencial of Phelia's main force following close behind, and there may be no hope for Drenn after all.

But then again, I could always be wrong....

Misc. Info

Leadership positions (like the army's general) are open to whoever wants them. However, you need to give me an RP sample (only if I haven't RPed with you before) if you want your character to have an important job. I'd do it myself, but I'm not very good at RPing such characters. If I need you to do something, I'll PM you about it.

Plot NPCs are controllable by anyone, but I'll be the one who brings them in, and sometimes directs them to where they need to go.

The plot is still fairly loose at the moment, you guys as the characters will drive it. The only thing that can't be changed is that we won't be marching right away to take back Drenn (if ever twisted ).

We're in the mountains, winter is coming, it's gonna be cold. Please keep the setting in mind as you RP. This is an army that's just lost a war, basically, there's a certain mood, and our resources are not going to be top notch.

I'll add more as questions come up. I tend to forget things as I'm writing these, so this section will likely grow. So if you have a question, ask me, I'm always happy to help 3nodding

Personality: Stubborn and driven, Mira doesn't always like to take orders, but she follows her superiors commands to the letter. She doesn't always have something to say, but she does like the company of other people, since that's what she's most used to. Mira has never been alone before, and she doesn't want to experienc it it now.
Bio: Mira grew up on a merchant vessel, so she's most comfortable on a boat. Her father taught her how to handle a sword at an early age so she could help protect their cargo from anyone and anything that might try to steal it. When war broke out, Miralay's father, as well as much of crew joined the military to serve their country and ensure that their trade routes remained in tact. Mira followed suit, but hasn't heard from her father or her extended family of the ship's crew since before Drenn's defeat, and is beginnin to wonder if she ever will again.
