It was on of those bright sunny days, where the clouds drifted close to the sun, but never covered it's bright rays. There was a gentle breeze whenever you started to get hot. All in all, Danae was enjoying himself. He was lost in his River reflection, watching the ripples obscure his face. He was letting his mind wander, but on cheerer thought then those he'd been asking himself earlier.
He avoided the topic about not having a father, and drifted on the thought about how he could stand up to the world on his own. He'd take the reins of his life and direct them however he pleased. He had no one to tell him what to do, except his mother. And she was a little to freaked out about the situation to really look after him.
Finally her broke his gaze from the river water and started to make his way down stream. He preferred to stay by the River, so he could look up and always see the sky.

Kaliska sighed softly in relief as she settled into the slightly chilled water of the river, shivering. Praetoria had thought it funny to tie her in vines before wandering off bored about watching the smaller girl struggle free.
It would have been simply frustrating, had the larger girl been observant enough not to use poison Ivy to do so.
She rolled on the river rocks below the surface, barely keeping her muzzle over the water as she tried to scrub the irritating oils out of her fur before more of it could get to the skin underneath, oblivious toward the approaching Foal as she splashed and whined softly, "Praetoria that wasn't FUNNY.

Danae was humming happily to himself, causing the perfect distract from his father ideals. He was enjoying his lonely company when he heard a splashing ahead in the river. Then someone spoke, something about being funny? He might have been to curious for his own good, but he want to see what was so 'funny'.
It didn't take him long before he was standing on the bank and watching the filly in the water. He caught sight of his horns and thought for a second she might be a little dangerous, but he was more then capable of taking care of himself.
"What's so 'funny'?" He asked, watching the blue filly splash around in the water. It looked like she was trying to rid herself of something caught on her legs. "Or, better yet, do you need some help?" He looked slightly puzzled. This situation didn't look funny at all!

Huffing softly as she rolled over and stuck her head out of the water, Kaliska stood slowly and eyes wide, "Ah! I... uh... Nnhg" she shuddered before bolting sideways out of the water and rubbed against a tree like a large cat before rolling around on the ground, whimpering slightly, panting between words "A girl.. I'm.. being raised.. with.. thought it'd be funny to -grah- tie me up with vines, but the idiot used -haaititches- poison ivy and now I'm all itchy. I'm trying to get the juice out of my fur and off my skin.."

Danae looked a bit puzzled as she ran around, rolling in the grass and acting sorta crazy. "This girl...though it would be funny...to wrap you in poison ivy?" That totally wasn't funny at all! It was just rude and unthoughtful! He though about some of the things his mother had taught him, apparently he had some kind of healing ability, from his father, but he didn't think that could help with poison ivy.
Then he thought about the different plants and things in the forest, he couldn't recall anything that would help. "I do know, it's better not to scratch it, that only make the poison ivy worse...." He was still trying to think of someway to help her.

(Oh my goodness: Somehow I managed to miss putting this up in my Teepee @_@ Sorry about that. And now I'm drawing a blank of how to respond to this DX)
Kaliska shuddered as she plunged back into the water, and peered up and Danae with a pathetic expression on her face, skin twitching in need to be itched, "She didn't realize it was poison ivy, but yes."

"Well anyone who doesn't recognize poison ivy is a little silly." Danae attempted a laugh, but the poor filly's face made him stop cold. She really was in more then her fair share of torment. He trotted into the water with her and shivered a bit. He knew he couldn't help her, but at least he could stay with her till she could at least move with out that terrible scratchy feeling.
"Well, my names Danae. And I'll stick with you until you can move around a bit more successfully. Okay? Just. Don't. Itch. It." He smiled and splashed some water on her back, to distract from the torment elsewhere. Maybe a little distraction was all she'd need for now?

Smiling slightly, Kaliska shivered, cold from the water and the shade, "Well, she's young, and apparently not allergic.. Or perhaps is simply stubborn enough not to be bothered by it.... Its not itching as badly right now but.. Nngh. Its like bugs crawling on the skin at the moment."
She shudders, squirming a little, "..Kaliska... And thank you."

Danae's smile was brilliant when Kaliska thanked him. He was glad to have finally successfully helped someone out. Even if he had just stood there and told her not to scratch herself. He made a mental note to ask his mother about herbs and thing, then nodded to the filly in front of him.
"Well, either way, you're welcome. And it's nice to meet you. Even under the....erm...circumstances." His tail flicked out behind him and he waited patently at the edge of the water for her to feel better.
