Josh had many reasons to be nervous over the course of his life. Tonight was one of them. The boy was busy himself by fiddling with his shirt collar. Was he too formal? Too casual? Was he even at the right theater? He nervously craned his head bnack in order to check the flashing sign behind him. The show times of the films scrolled across in a slow daze. It was 3:00 pm. That was about fifteen minutes before the movie would start.
They were going to see a romantic comedy. Josh choked down the idea. He suddenly realized the folly of his plan. A romantic comedy… did that come off as too needy?! It wasn’t like they were on a date! The boy could already feel the onset of some kind of anxiety attack. He was torn from his silent fretting and anguish by a tug on the perfectly ironed leg of his best pair of jeans. Josh smoothed back his hair, possibly the fortieth time that day, and peered down at the quivering ball of fur and raevan that was next to him.
LuLu still did not like being out in public. It was noisy. It was crowded. It was different. It went against everything she liked. Josh concluded that tonight was not only a chance to catch up with Namini, it was also a chance to socialize the timid raevan. Josh ruffed up her hair reassuringly and cooed to her, “It will be okay.” The rabbit frei gave a few tense shivers and nodded at his words. It was obvious that she was in need of it. Plus, this would be a chance for her to meet another new raevan. Prajna… that was Namini’s raevan’s name if he remembered it right. The boy wondered just how the two would get along. Hopefully it would be smooth sailing once they were introduced. That is usually how LuLu’s meetings played out. She was always hesitant at first but easily warmed up to others.
Josh tidied up his shirt once more, checking for nonexistent specks of lint and the like. Today had to go smoothly. Even though it wasn’t like a date or anything….

"And if he tries ANYTHING, you call me. I'll be here in two minutes flat. Prajna, tonight is your duty to protect your guardian should things go wrong!" David hissed as he pulled into the cinema parking lot. Prajna rolled its eyes as it pressed its forehead against the cool window, Namini giggling at her brother's exaggeration.
"I'll be ok. Prajna, you just be nice to Josh's Raevan, kay? Everything will be-- David," Namini shot her brother an unfavorable glance as the older Nao 'tsk'ed at her reassurance. "Josh is a good guy. He won't do anything...um..- she blushed.- inappropriate?"
"Better not."
They stopped and David caught sight of the nervous brunette and his bunny friend. He narrowed his eyes and,as Namini and Prajna were exiting the vehicle, mouthed the words "I'm watching you", followed by a hand motion shifting from Josh and to himself. Namini closed the door and waved goodbye to her brother, before adjusting her summer dress and walking towards the other pair. Prajna followed close behind her, though its eyes were not on Lulu as one would suspect. Both youngsters had their blues locked on the antsy looking teenage boy in front of them. He was..so fidgety.
Prajna snorted.
David said to watch out for him? He looked pathetic, this human boy! His hands kept moving about nervously; There didn't seem to be one ounce of confidence in him. This conclusion made Prajna smirk. Tonight, it would save Namini from whatever dangers this boy happened to present..or attempt to present anyways.
"Hey!" Namini sang, bursting into a warm smile for Josh and Lulu. "I hope we're not too late? Is this Lulu? Wow, she's so pretty."
Prajna's grinning mouth twitched before shifting its eyes over to the rabbit soul. She was so..dark. Icy blues darted up and down the other Frei before stopping at her blonde hair. What...what the heavens was on her head? It wasn't like Prajna's hat! They looked like..
"...Ugly bread." Prajna declared, gaping.

A familiar vehicle pulled up to the theater. The boy straightened up just in time as the door opened. Josh’s lips upturned as he saw Namini step out of the car. He briskly made his way to her. He made a motion to help her from the car, but was met with the fact that Namini was already stepping away from its smooth metallic surface. He was too late. Josh sighed dejectedly but stepped forward anyway. He confronted David’s silent threat with cold confidence, the first ounce of self esteem he had shown that day. He met the man’s eyes as he drove away , he made sure their gazes locked. Josh mouthed an obscure threat to David and sealed it with a smirk. He then dove in a gave Namini a warm hug to great her.
“Hello there, Chicky! It has been ages!” He took her hand to guide her to the theater and spoke again in a pleasant tenor, “Yes, this is LuLu.” He motioned towards her. Of course, she was not far away. LuLu was a mere few inches from him. She remained in her previous position curled around Josh’s leg. The boy reached down once more to smooth over her ears and try to bolster her courage, “ She is a bit timid around strangers,” he spoke up again admonish Namini lightly, “Do not worry! You are not late at all. I took the pleasure of buying your tickets already.” He sifted through the contents of his pockets and drew two ticket from its inner workings. He handed one to Namini then paused to find Prajna and had them their ticket.
Who had already found him. Their eyes met and Josh felt a bit frozen by those twin., icy spears that threatened to stab through him. The boy was also put off by another fact. Prajna was an… it. Josh frowned slightly and held the ticked out to the star frei. This was an unusual turn of events. “Umm, for you.” The boy was unsure whether ‘miss’ or ‘mister’ should escape his lips. He left it off to save himself from irking the raevan.
Josh saw Prajna stare move away from him and fix itself onto LuLu. She seemed to notice too. She tensed and drew herself closer to Josh. He ear poked out just enough to pick up on his comment. LuLu’s expression changed in that moment. It evolved from fear into annoyance. Her trembling lips drew into a tight pout and her eyes narrowed into slits. Ugly. LuLu knew that was bad. But bread? How stupid was this raevan.
LuLu’s wings beat agitatedly against Josh’s leg as she rose and inch or two higher. She peeked around her protective barrier to take in her verbal assailants form. Red hair, crow wings, and pale skin. They were different. Even though this raevan had eyes like Zul and donned her favorite color, they left a rancid taste in LuLu’s mouth. The female frei chimed back reproachfully, “Ugly white crow.”

All Namini could muster as Josh pulled her into a welcoming embrace was a mouse-like "oh!" before presenting an earnest smile. She turned this ear to ear grin down at LuLu, thinking the Frei's bashfulness was cute and expected, as she followed Josh's lead towards the theater, "It has been a while hasn't it? I thought, with the summer starting and all, it would be a perfect chance to meet up again, since, I hadn't gotten any letter or notification saying if there was another Lab event this summer."
The brunette received her ticket graciously, turning a little pink in the cheeks at Josh's courtesy. My, my, she had forgotten just how sweet he could be, "Thank you Josh. Maybe afterwards I could buy you two ice cream or something to make up your kindne...Prajna!"
The teen stopped in her offer as she finally caught her Frei staring and insulting its new found acquaintance. Prajna did not flinch at this sudden outburst, but maybe became defensive, as it watched the rabbit rise up from Josh's leg. Its eyes narrowed inquisitively as the blonde looked for the appropriate response. But what seemed to be appropriate for her, was clearly a dangerous statement with Prajna.
"Ugly white crow."
Prajna did not know what "crow" was, it did not care to be called white, but the word "ugly"? To be given that title by someone with weird breadsticks on its head was unspeakable!! This stranger wasn't even pretty like Varun; She had weird... stuff on her face and arms, ugly doughy head things, ugly ugly hair!
"Prajna is not ugly. YOU are ugly most. YOU...are.." It needed a word. A strong, strong word to show how much it HATED the newcomer. That's when movie dialogues began to run through the Frei's young mind. What was a word that many people had said in anger, sadness, fear? ....Ohhhh yes. The fire smirked, "You, ugly, are so fu--"
Namini's hand immediately covered her charge's mouth, cheeks burning, as she shot Josh an apologetic smile, "I'm so sorry LuLu, Josh. Prajna usually isn't..this..um...aggressive? Prajna's language too. I.. I bet David had some influence, hahaha.."
Prajna attempted to claw the teen's fingers away from its mouth but the girl proved to be stronger. Namini was determined to keep that kind of dirty word OUT of their introductions!
"SO the movie! Shall we head in?" Namini laughed nervously, as Prajna began nipping at her fingers. The brunette winced but kept her hands tightly clamped over the star's vulgar mouth.

Josh had never thought about that. The boy pondered for a moment; he tried to recall the various junk mail he had received recently. Just as Namini said, there was no Summer event planned so far. It was upsetting because he usually met new owners during that time. He also would have gotten another chance to see Namini. How unusual. Josh brushed off this detail and chuckled, “I am going to blame it on the fact this seems like a lazy summer. Have you been busy?” Josh hesitated a moment, “Is David alright too? Treating you well I hope?” The boy grimaced. It almost pained him to say that name out loud. It was as if it would summon the demonic, older male in a rush of flames or something as sinister. As much as he loved… err, liked seeing Namini… He just could never warm up to also having to see him.
Josh smiled pleasantly when the flustered girl took her ticket. He would never admit it to her, but he fancied the way her cheeks lit up like that. It was… cute. He was just about to comment on ‘How Namini was too kind’ or ‘How LuLu would enjoy that greatly’; however, his chance to make a grand, sycophantic display was cut shot by Namini’s explosion of admonishment. Josh jumped back and watched her arm snake securely around her raevan’s foul mouth. Josh swore he heard a faint giggle erupt from behind his leg.
LuLu’s ear were perked forward as if demanding the star to try and take another stab at her. It seemed as though Josh was absorbed in his own affairs and took no notice of her previous shenanigans. She took pride in the fact that she had not been caught. Meanwhile, Prajna had been ensnared in their own game.
Josh smiled weakly and nodded, “No, no. It is fine. I agree. Let’s head inside.” The boy took a few more steps forward and LuLu followed. Just barely. The rabbit frei waited for Namini to pass. She waited until it was safe. Her rosy lips parted slowly, thoughtfully as the distance between her and Prajna closed. Her pleasant voice chimed clearly, “You are ugly and weak.” Her eyes met with theirs fiercely and she floated off behind Josh once more.
She nodded to herself reassuringly. Yes, that was a good word for this white crow. They looked like a human and they could be easily stopped by one. They had no demanding presence like the others she had met. Riv, Zul, and Varun had been much more intimidating than this. This raevan had no spikes, horns, or fins to turn her away or demand attention. All Prajna had to offer was fluffy wings, a quaint hat, and doughy eyes.
LuLu had managed to find something that did not frighten her. She was going to have fun with this.

Namini continued to smile as politely as was manageable, keeping her hand secured around her charge's lips, as she followed Josh into the theater. Prajna had stopped struggling against the teen's hand, not out of weakness but its mind seemed to quickly shift from escaping to plotting. It had learned many things from movies and one quote seemed to surface through all of the cinematic insults and gore scenes playing through the Frei's mind: "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." As Namini and Prajna passed Josh and Lulu, Prajna turned its piercing blues to Lulu and it was a slow motion moment. It caught her eyes, took in her words (without flinching either!), and, even though Namini's delicate fingers remained where they were on its mouth, every androgynous feature on the flame's face seemed to light up, perhaps thinking the same thing that Lulu was. It needed a way back in.
Once inside the building, Prajna's mind raced with what could be done to create an opening for itself. How was it to get back at this...thing without making it obvious? Candy stand? No. Innocent workers? No. There had to be something it was over looking. Namini slowly recognized Prajna's quietness and decided that her pet had settled down and smiled bitterly.
"Please be good Prajna" she murmured in its ear before removing her shaking fingers. As she took her hand from its mouth, her fingertips brushed against Josh's passing hand and her face immediately burst into a crimson red, matching Prajna's hair. Prajna stared at her face, at her fingertips...at Josh and its eyes seemed to flicker alive once again. There. That was it. Prajna turned back to Lulu and smiled as genuinely, as innocently as it could before speaking in the calmest voice it could produce, "I'm..sorry, Lulu. Yes. Prajna is ugly, is weak. Lulu is not."
The inverted flame managed another polite grin before following the teens through the maze of colorful snacks and uniformed people. Oh. This was going to be so much fun.

Josh managed to glide past Namini quickly enough to grab the door and open it for her and the raevans. He made a smooth gesture for them to enter; however, the boy hid his face behind the glare of the door’s glass and his shirt sleeve. If one were to peak behind his makeshift cover they would see that his cheeks were nearly as flushed as Namini’s. Josh had also noticed when their fingertips had brushed innocently together. The touch was electric and sent the boy’s face ablaze. Once everyone was inside, he lagged behind for a few seconds to calm down his nerves and allow the blood to drain from his face.
LuLu was alone for these few moments.
She did not like it.
LuLu fidgeted next to the door as she waited for Josh to enter. Her previous courage had wilted now that she was out in the open. The frei wondered what could have been taking her guardian so long. She believed that Josh had authority and that he was the safest person to be with right now. She saw that Namini had a handle on the pitiful white crow. Nevertheless, LuLu was never concerned with the idea of being too cautious. A few more seconds passed. Her lavender eyes focused outside to see Josh caught up in some sort of self motivational speech. LuLu sighed and turned back around to the other couple. She was shocked to see that Namini had unhanded Prajna and allowed the frei to move once again. The frei chose tomove closer to LuLu.
The rabbit frei’s eyes narrowed when Prajna approached her. Even though the star raevan had burst into a fit of smiles and self degradation LuLu could not settle down or stop her desire to remain on the alert. It just did not seem safe to get comfortable around a person you had just insulted.
When Josh walked back inside LuLu clung to his jeans once more. The boy made a slight yelp as his limb was assaulted, but he quickly recovered from his raevan’s impromptu tackle. Josh made a clumsy walk over to Namini. His gait looked remarkably similar to a zombie given the bundle attached to his right leg. Each step was tricky as he tried to maneuver with the rabbit frei. The boy chuckled off the frei’s behavior, “Let’s get to that movie then.”
LuLu felt her valor returning now that she was cuddling the extremity turned security blanket. LuLu flicked her eyes back at Prajna for a moment before an idea came to her. She decided that if the star wanted to be kind to her then she would test their kindness. The rabbit spoke up in a venomously sweet voice, “Then I am prettiest? The best?” Her eyes met with Prajna’s as she awaited an answer.

As Josh rejoined the group and gestured towards the theatre, Namini could only smile and nod, her tongue tied and her fingers interlaced nervously together in front of her now, "What movie did you decide for us, Josh?" She ended the question with a soft chuckle, praying to the heavens that her friend hadn't chosen some kind of romance, thinking she'd enjoy it because of her gender; Anything romantic was to be avoided she decided, otherwise, who knew what kind of ..ideas were to sneak into her disorganized thoughts.
Prajna floated a little further from the group, as if an outcast. It only took one second to analyze the rabbit soul's behavior: She was only brave whenever her guardian was around. There was little maneuvering required whenever her boy wasn't around and this realization forced the edges of Prajna's lips to twitch. As long as it could make sure the boy got plenty of alone time with Namini, which seemed like something both teens involuntarily wanted, revenge was going to be easy. Its glacier eyes flickered back to the quivering rabbit and her ugly bread-shaped ears. Pathetic.
The only thing that could be praised was her manipulativeness. Prajna took in her wary eyes and cautious pose and summed it up to be some kind of farce, a cover up for her true...wickedness, as her voice was always confident, almost aggressive. Or at least whenever she was talking to the flame. The prettiest? The best? Prajna's jaw tightened and relaxed, its eyes turned back to the leading backs of Josh and Namini, "But of course. Lulu. Of. course."
It tried its best not to spit out the words but it was very difficult, even though nothing was stated directly. The fact that it had given in to her request was enough. UGH. It would wash its mouth out the minute it got home. With water, with that burning Listerine, whatever it could get its frail hands on. But yes..Revenge was alllllll going to be worth it. Let her have her moments of success now. As the group entered the darkened theater, looking for seats, a smirk crawled onto the Frei's features, hidden by the shadows. Yes, revenge was going to be oh so sweet.

Josh replied rather flippantly as they found their seats in the dimming theater, “A comedy.” He did not let onto the fact it was like every comedy coming out these day. A movie that made you laugh for an hour; until, it dipped into a laconic depression when the main character realized the folly of his ways. Then it reached its crescendo when every couple was locked at the lips in perpetual bliss and old romance tunes from the 70’s were blaring. That last part made the boy a bit weak in the knees. What if they… Namini and him… kis-
Josh flopped down in his seat roughly like a wounded animal as he tried to erase those thoughts from his head. The boy did not need to psych himself out any further. He was already stumbling over himself. Then again… who knew what would happen if he got caught up in the moment? Josh kicked himself mentally.
He should have chosen the action adventure flick.
LuLu floated gingerly atop the red velvet of her own seat to the left of Josh, she spared the seat on his right side for Namini. The rabbit peered at Prajna and then to the two empty seats on either end of the group. One was next to LuLu and the other was next to Namini. The female frei found her interest piqued. Just which seat would the inverted flame choose?
The weary part of LuLu’s brain desired that Prajna be as far away as possible. They were an enemy! However, the rabbit could not silent the soft cooing of a cruel voice in the other portion of her mind. It wanted Prajna close. It wanted to see just how much she could push the frailer raevan. It wanted to see if she could control him. LuLu pondered.
Could she really be strong like a princess around Prajna?

The curly-haired teen nodded in acceptance, following Josh into a vacant aisle and waiting for him to take his seat. But the minute Josh had settled into his seat and Namini beside him, the brunette suddenly felt like it was harder to breathe. Nothing had changed, the lights had merely dimmed a bit more, but really, nothing had changed, and yet the tension only seemed to grow as the movie progressed. A comedy? The girl could not find any reason to laugh, though she did force a giggle now and then appropriately. Her face had to be a giant tomato, she could feel her neck up releasing wave after wave of heat. She pulled a small water bottle out of her purse and sipped from it every ten, fifteen minutes; Namini was..so close to him. Not too close but so. SO close! Soon though, she was distracted by something more...lethal. Settling into the movie's storyline, Namini quickly remembered how comedies played out. Good, bad, badddd, good, happy, kissing, excitable ending!
Her face seemed to push the boundaries of red as she thought about that ending. How could she have forgotten?! But then again, it was hard to find a movie these days without a little bit of romance. Romance... Namini, involuntarily, let out a hopeful sigh, a soft breathe, as if recalling some daydream from the past. Oh, what it would be like to-- She chugged the rest of her water down. Her mouth felt like a desert while her cheeks were scorching like the desert sun!
Meanwhile, Prajna unhesitatingly took the seat beside Lulu. It was in no mood to float all over her (God knew what that foul bread-thing would do if its ribbon even grazed her hand!), her weak boy-master, and Namini, just so it could avoid the rabbit and whatever wickedness she was considering. Besides, if it played its cards just right, everything would be fine just like this. Yes~. Prajna settled next to Lulu and as the movie began, allowed a small grin to creep onto its features, especially when it watched the changes in Namini's face. She was fidgeting... How predictable. But the smirk widened, in perfect timing to some slapstick scene as Prajna decided now was the perfect moment to..
"Lulu-miss?" it squeaked. The flame's cheeks seemed to flush for a moment as it shifted uncomfortably, though its eyes read more as a defensive look if anything. Its eyes were looking past Lulu though...straight at Josh.

Josh found himself less entertained with the movie and more amused over the fact that Namini had managed to down a smuggled water bottle in nearly five sips. His auburn eyes focused on her through the dim theater, like two lit gems piercing through the darkness. He was turned to her, completely immersed in the girl.
Until he realized he was staring.
The boy quickly looked away from her with an embarrassed grunt. Even through the charade of subtlety, Josh still found his eyes wandering back to Namini every so often. When realization struck though, they would snap back to the screen ahead. It was like a nervous typewriter as those brown orbs swung sideways then returned to their starting position over and over again.
The movie display lit the audience up in a spectrum of colors as the scenes flew by. Josh confirmed that he liked seeing Namini in a warm orange hue the most.
He had no idea what was going on in the film.
On the other side of him things were much different. LuLu could not fight back a mixture of excitement and fear as Prajna sat next to her. The rabbit let out an almost inaudible squeak. However, she soon found herself growing bored when the other frei did not restart their conversation. Instead, she began to become partially absorbed in the humorous tale of a boy trying to win over his ex. When a particularly good joke reached its punch line the audience erupted in laughter. LuLu contributed a small giggle herself.
She almost did not hear the voice next to her. The female frei turned towards the flame and whispered, “Yes?” She did not enjoy the look of Prajna. They seemed so fidgety now; then again, they also seemed to be pondering over something judging by the light in their eyes. LuLu withdrew herself from the movie for a moment to stay on guard.

When the last drop of water had passed her lips and had her stomach churning with more water than it had ever consumed in one sitting, Namini felt somewhat relieved. Back to the movie..back to the movie...The man nearly got hit by a car, trying to chase after the girl. Namini struggled to laugh a bit, seeming exhausted now; Never before had she been so full of butterflies and never before had she tried to crush as many of those anxious feelings as she could. Who knew this could become just a tiring night out? Just as she seemed to finally be settling back into her normal self, the teen flickered her blue eyes sideways, wondering for the first time how Josh was doing throughout this entire event. Bad move on her part, because just as the brunette turned her face a mere half a centimeter, she found herself caught in Josh's hesitant glance. A glance directed at her. There was no doubt about it. His eyes were on her face. Perhaps her eyes, maybe her cheeks, her nose, her parted li--
The previous rose color shot from her over flooded stomach back into her cheeks as, unbeknown to her, a yellow-orange sunset setting flashed across the screen, giving her porcelain skin a nice, warm tint. She was still caught in Josh's intense stare and, though in the back of her mind someone was screaming "Staring is rude!", she just couldn't pull her eyes away. Her cerulean eyes started their own exploration of the other teen's face. His hair looked particularly soft. He had such welcoming, trusting eyes. And... Namini closed her eyes for several seconds.
Stop stop stop stop PLEASE STOP! her mind panicked as she tried to push away her hormone-driven visions. His lips, her lips, the perfect music playing in the background. It would all be straight out of a movie because..it was taking place while a movie was playing! Her lips and his lips, together and then--
"Josh?" Namini squeaked before allowing her sapphires to flutter open, slowly, cautiously, as if she were about to be scolded. She spit out her question next, perhaps a little too quickly, "Areyou..likingthemovie? A lot? Everythingok? I..I couldgetyousomethingtodrinkorsomething."
She waved her empty water bottle as if looking for some excuse to get some fresh air. It did not help that an older couple, mid-twenties, behind them were cuddling very closely to one another. She pushed the thought to the back of her mind, forcing a smile.
Prajna..was also smiling, though timidly at Lulu. She had seemed distracted, completely before it had chosen to spoken up..and that was good. Her defenses were weak..for now. Prajna knitted its brows together as it eyed the tense air between the human teens. It tried to gesture something to the rabbit but it was clear that it was coming across unclear. Finally, it stumbled out, " Promise. David. -it pointed at Josh stealthily- Can Prajna sit where Lulu sit? Promise, David, eye on guardian of Lulu and Namini.
On cue with Namini's name, Prajna seemed to sneer suspiciously at their guardians, perhaps exaggerating a bit too much on its lie, though maybe with the rabbit, this exaggeration was enough to warm her heart back the flame. It could only hope.

Namini’s eyes took a hold of one of Josh’s timid glances like an eagle snatching up an appetizing morsel. The boy found himself being absorbed into those twin blue pools, set in a flawless porcelain façade. He was lost in their shimmering splendor and was drowning fast. His eyes trailed over Namini’s smooth cheeks downward to her perfectly tempting lips, rosy red as always. Josh felt his breathe catch in his throat. It was a struggle just to release a few hoarse pants from his constricting chest. The world was spinning and Namini’s eyes seemed to be growing larger and larger by the second. Josh soon discovered that it was not her eyes growing larger.
It was him drawing closer to his brunette companion.
The boy could see her examining him with the same frantic scrutiny. Her eyelids were fluttering open and closed in uncertainty. So were his. Their eyes were locked in a frenzied battle to part; yet, they only drew nearer and nearer. Josh could feel her breath on his face like an alluring breeze. With a happy flutter in his heart, he recognized that she smelled like lavender. Relaxing and enticing. The boy was only centimeters away. His lips were faintly moist, a product of his need. His hand reached out to graze hers and he was almost sure of what would happen. They would kiss.
"Josh?"
The boy looked at her confused. Drunk off of lust.
"Areyou..likingthemovie? A lot? Everythingok? I..I couldgetyousomethingtodrinkorsomething."
The slur of words only further derailed his mind. “W… What now?” His eyes blinked lazily a few times then snapped open. He realized he was caressing Namini’s fingers. “Ah! Umm…S-sure. I’ll come with you.” The boy withdrew from her and shrunk back in his seat. He tried to combat the inferno that was now engulfing his face. He barely had a chance to notice the moans erupting behind him.
LuLu’s blond eyebrows knitted together as she sifted though Prajna’s request and agitated motions. It wanted her spot? How absurd! The stupid crow had chosen that spot itself and should have been happy to sit next to her. It was practically like being on the left hand side of a queen! LuLu would have given anything to sit next to herself. If she could that is.
The other frei should have felt the same.
LuLu decided that Prajna would have to prove its loyalty before she would allow herself to do it a favor. The female frei’s lips parted into a cheery smile. “Fine. One thing first,” she pointed at the star clip on Prajna’s hat, “That is mine now.” In her opinion it was a tachky trinket; however, it would serve as a token symbol of her trust to the other raevan. If they managed to hand it over.

As the "Sure" stumbled past Josh's lips, Namini bolted for the door, the remaining audience oblivious to the girl's suddenness as they burst into waves of laughter. She would waste no time reaching a temporary haven! Confused, drowning in hormones and ideas inspired by romance novels and the media, a small part of Namini felt bad for rushing away from Josh like that, like he was some kind of plague-victim, but a much larger part of her felt disappointed in unintentionally rejecting the boy. A shaky hand rose up to allow two pink fingernail polished fingers to brush against her lips. He had been so close. It was almost a mistake to have broke a light sweater to the theatre; The physical intimacy was enough to scare any potential goosebumps away. As she reentered the world of fluroscent lighting, wincing at first, Namini was thankful to recognize a gush of cool air conditioning. Anything to calm her sizzling cheeks.
Once her doll-like eyes had readjusted to the lobby, Namini looked back at the entrance, wondering if she should wait for Josh or even, go back. But the blush scorched her nose and cheekbones and so, she headed towards the concession stand. Prajna could..behave itself for a few minutes right? There was only so much trouble one could get in, though recently, David had been mentioning something about its..temper.
"No..everything will be ok" she reassured herself as she mindlessly handed a five over to the concessioner and waited for her small soda. Her mind was too distracted to be pessimistic. Josh's lips were but one nod away. But then what? If they kissed, what then? Cerulean eyes flickered back towards the door, wondering what was going through her 'date' 's head at the moment. Did he want the same thing too? It seemed like it but...Who knew what went through a boy's head?
Meanwhile in the cool, abandoned darkness, Prajna's face was aghast. What had that rabbit said? ...What had this UGLY creature had the nerve to say?! Prajna blinked. Once. Twice. Before turning its eyes to Josh's seat and then back to Lulu's violet eyes, full of questioning, hesitant trust. Prajna pursed its lips and thought carefully for a moment. It NEEDED that seat if it hoped of getting anything accomplished and, flickering its eyes to the movie, there was only so much time left. Was there no other way?
Luckily, just as Prajna was about to admit defeat, a sudden movement caught its eye: Namini was leaving. She'd be back, no doubt, but this was the perfect chance. Now, if only that idiotic teenage boy would follow her.. Prajna returned to Lulu, a nervous grin on its face as it raised a hand to its hat, "But..Is only Prajna's. One has one. It almost like if Prajna tell Lulu that "Sharp necklace is mine now" -and with that, it pointed to one of the rabbit's boned accessories- See? Not good. Is nothing more Prajna can give Lulu? Something more pretty...pretty like Lulu?"
The flame almost choked at the end. Pretty? Whatever! She was nowhere near pretty as Rivener or Xiu or Prajna itself but the inverted fire knew just how nice it was to have its ego fed and that's all it needed. A little more time to win her trust. Yes, anything Prajna could part with would be worth it, but an accessory of its own? Hell no.
