Has anyone seen Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. His outfit and weapons are verry steampunky. I know it is supposed to be mad scientist, but I kept thinking Steampunk. If you haven't seen it I would definatelly recomend it. The show is amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apEZpYnN_1gThis is an edit, for some reason I didn't look and was thinking the media section was only for books. Sorry, please move this to the appropriate part when you notice this.

I love Dr. Horrible, but I've never thought of him as steampunk.

A friend of mine forced me to watch that because they'd just bought it on DVD. sweatdrop
It was alright, but I kept thinking it would have better without the whole "sing-along" part, even though I know that's pretty much the whole point of the show. Plus, I thought the ending sucked.
I'mma go listen to Dr. Steel, now. xd

He is pretty fantastic, err... horrible! I mean horrible.
But I hadn't considered him steampunk. I suppose I can see where you're coming from though.

The ending did suck. Almost made me spit-take.

While I love Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, I have to agree... it's not really Steampunk.
It's more of a sort of... superhero... thing.
(Totally hoping for a sequel though.)

I don't know why everyone is hating on the ending. It nearly made me cry. I loved it. The songs were all brilliant. They were catchy, funny, emotional and powerful. NPH is an amazing actor/singer/frikken hilarious all-around-dude. When my friend first showed this to me I re-watched it about 4 times over the rest of the week.

Sure, a downer, but it makes perfect sense, given the subject matter. sweatdrop

I can see where you're coming from. But I don't think his guns are too steamy.
I loved it to death because I was expecting it to be cheesily bad and therefore funny. But it was way good!

After watching it I told my friend who showed it to me that I wanted a lab coat and she pulled one out of her closet. I hated her for that.
