I would have to say Wii for innovation, versatility, and backwards compatibility, amongst other things.User Image

Just to round us out, I'll say the PS3.

It had a terribly slow start at the beginning of this generation, but I feel like it's making a very strong comeback. It has probably the best third-party support right now (six months from now, it'll probably be Microsoft, what with making Final Fantasy multi-plat), its online service is a good middle ground of Nintendo's free-ness and Microsoft's dedication to support and its exclusive titles are great.

the Wii hands down. they been beating both PS3 and Xbox 360 since it came out. Even when Xbox lowers therr price the Wii still sales fast but the only thing i hate is that i wish the Wii would come out with more violent games not just games for little kids...there only so much i can play with Super Smash Bro's and resident evil XP

Xbox 360 is the only logical choice. No other system can play Halo Wars, or Halo 3. ^^
Wii is extremely expensive, what with you having to buy a new special controller for every game to get the full game play, the graphics look horrid too.

wii isnt that bad
ps3 is a good system but it has only a few games for it that are good
but 360 is where it is happening halo, gears, and even square enix is developing ffXIII for 360!!

Really? o_o I didn't know that... the impression I got was that the Wii was the cheapest system on the market. That even factoring in the two-part controller, the costs don't exceed that of the competitors, and that most games requiring a special controller (and most do not) would come with it at little extra cost. Huh...

I personally find the Halo series to be terribly overrated. xd User Image

I'll agree that Halo 3 is somewhat overrated (the online play is second to only PC titles), but she does present a good point; of all the consoles, the Wii undoubtedly has the most peripherals. The Wii fit board, the light gun attachment, the steering wheel, and soon WiiMotion Plus (which is the one I'm excited about the most).

I haven't played Halo 3 much. But I heard it was a let down. The first halo was the best. Wii hates me! D: I can never get it to work. I think my grandma's Wii hates everyone though. After my cousin threw the controller at the wall, I don't blame it stare

I'm a Nintendo person, and I personally favor the Wii. Although, I am a big 360 fan. I simply love FPS games, but I have trouble with the controls on xbox. gonk But yeah. When I was a kid, I grew up with Duck Hunt, so using an actual pointer-gun-thingy comes natural to me. biggrin
