Curiosity again had caused the young adult to wander outside of her pride, roaming about as strange sensations seemed to pull her away from the confines of the waterfall which housed her family and down into the unknown surrounding lands. The Unity Walkers were located within a peaceful, seclusive region and from the first steps she took Okimmi'kya could feel the there was something about the outside domain which felt as if it was missing something; like a piece of a puzzle, the outside world was wholesome to a degree yet lacked an unknown presence which seemed to abide within the pride. Perhaps it was the simple concept that the Unity Walkers was home and, as it's been said, where home is there was ones heart also but was that right? Oki loved her pride dearly and never did the thought ever cross her mind to leave it but, now, with new lands at her paws it seemed that the possibilities were endless! The young lioness was conflicted but perhaps there would be a better time for her ideas and thoughts to rumble and brawl within the wakes of her conscious, restless mind rathern then the time at hand- she needed to focus.

But why? Where exactly was she heading and why did it feel that something, some unseen invalid, was pulling her? Oki shook her head. Strange, she thought to herself, biting down on her lower lip as she softly padded through the thick, lush vegetation. For a moment she shook her head as if to free herself from the continuous thoughts that shackled themselves to her mind, clawing in a last attempt to embed themselves into the back of her mind. She sighed. Okimmi'kya flicked her ears while her sullen, gray orbs fell to a half-lidded view.

This was getting her nowhere.

There had been excitement before but, now, it seemed she was walking around in circles. Hasn't she seen that tree before with the entangling moss and vines? Or what about that rock to the left with that strange, polished finish? The whole surroundings felt as if they'd been turned upside down and she had stated back at square one! Disheveled, confused and slowly becoming a bit irritable, the lioness slumped onto her haunches and leaned against the unwelcomed, moss riddled tree.

"I couldn't have gotten lost," she mumbled. "I'm sure I must have taken a wrong turn or something." Yes, she couldn't have gotten lost because she had already been lost to begin with. Unknowingly, Oki had taken a wrong turn and truly had been walking in circles. Only a few miles away resided the outlined territory which belonged to the Unity Walkers but, currently, the young adult was all but grounded in the battle between directions and current location. Perhaps if she had a better sense of direction like her half-sister, Elly, she wouldn't even be in this mess.

Come to think of it, where was her half-sister when she needed her? Right about now was a perfect time for a rescue by means of a tornado or other impressive saving tactic by the Goddess.

Glancing back down the path that she thought she had come from, Oki frowned slightly.

"Okay... maybe I am lost."

Ban'ma was tired of being lost.

It was a long standing tradition in her family that one's birthplace was their true home and if certain circumstances hadn't forced her out of her own lands, then she would have gladly kept to the code. The lioness didn't like being a rogue in the least. She felt lonely, without anyone watching her back or swapping stories with as they went about their day. Her homeland was so much more peaceful than this. Though democracy was still a foreign concept, and fights still reigned for top spot, she had been with her sisters.

Her travels had lead her away from the grass lands of home to a more lush area. The thickness of it all was enough to choke her at first, but the more she padded through it, the more she began to appreciate its luster. A gradient blue striped tail swayed happily behind the trotting lioness, whose own sky blue eyes were taking everything in.

It was hard to broad when travelling in a place like this. She'd seen moss before, as a cub in the dens that were set up, but never in these amounts. The possibility of a tree without the fuzzy green stuff seemed ridiculous to her now. It was a wonder that she hadn't stepped onto some prides lands.

Oh, she was careful. Although general experience failed her, Ban'ma wasn't one to make a big rucus and get herself caught. She crept to the shadows to avoid all areas that had been marked, giving them as wide of a berth as possible. Though she was desperate for companionship, she wasn't foolish. A slit throat would get her nowhere.

Her dark blue paws pushed through a particularly stubborn bush and with a grunt, she slipped through. That was just it. Hiking in the woods was all fine and dandy, but briars made ones fur look horrible.

"Ow, ow, ow-" A little prickly one was caught under her hidepaw and after a bit of dancing around, she managed to grasp it in her fangs. The skinned area was bruised, but otherwise fine. A miracle in disguise. Looking up, Ban'ma caught the unmistakable sound of a voice. "Oh, please don't let this be another effect of the berries." Yet another instance in the world that she wasn't eager to talk about.

When she jogged up to the scene, fur straightened and preened just as any presentable lady should look like, she saw a beautiful lioness. Such soft fur tones contrasting with the starry wing on her side. A simply gorgeous creature, but Ban'ma couldn't help but think what a few pieces of jewelry might do to heighten that amount of natural good looks. "Excuse me." She smiled and padded up to her carefully. "Did I happen to hear you right? I daresay that if you truly are lost I can't be of much help, but I can offer company until you find your way."

It was becoming somewhat impossible for the lioness not to get slightly flustered. Being one who was raised alongside two brothers, as well as spending time with her half-sister, Oki had developed, at times, a somewhat stubborn mentality and one that didn't easily give up. Weakness wasn't an option- the lioness was strong in heart and mind; she carried a determination and a resistance to any option that would lead her to abandon anything or anyone. Okimmi'kya bore a kind soul but, in many ways subtle and blunt, she often was like a boy. She roughhoused, explored and embraced a reckless and fun side to herself but, at the same time, was well aware that she was, on the inside, a girl. A meek, compassionate and curious side to her was paired up with an opposing force that wasn't afraid to get down and dirty. Perhaps this is what made her to be so complex! She wasn't an easy one, truth be told, but Oki certainly an average lioness.

With the mid-day sun already looming above the outskirts of the jungle seemed more than active. Birds cawed, cooing and chirping loud while branches rustled both above and below. Off in the distance howler monkeys wailed, screeching while an assortment of other animals made themselves known to all passing through as well as visitors to the lands. To others it must have been a beautiful afternoon medley but this, to Oki as tleast, was far from something pleasant.

It only added to her rising worries.

Pinning her ears back slightly, the young adult closed her eyes as she squinted them tightly and gritted her jowls together. A horrid combination of loud noises mixing with quiet thoughts was unbearable- or near ridiculous for anyone that was trying to find a solution to a pending scenario. Had the area been cleared out of the obnoxious, boisterous animals and their racket Oki's stress and tempering frustrations would have lessened much quicker in realizing that an unknown presence lingered not too far away- perhaps even coming across the others scent earlier on would have been beneficial in at least pushing aside the worries and frets that had now become a silent battle. But no early hint was caught and it wasn't until the unknown voice, and sudden presence of another, simply appeared behind the backdrop of jungle jives. Oki was somewhat un-phased by the appearance as she knitted her brows slightly and flicked her ears. With the onset of something interesting to the surrounding, unseen spectators the area lessened its deafening noise just a bit.

It took Oki a minute to think while her lips pursed slightly. Her eyes looked the other up and down just once before her ears seemed to flick back in resilience. Lost? She wasn't lost. It was more so that the surrounding lands all looked the same and had led her astray. She could feel her eyes narrowing slightly at the comment but she breezed it off while she nearly forced herself to take a slow breath and regain her typical composure. "I wouldn't say I was lost," she answered, offering a slight sheepish grin, "its more like I'm not too familiar with the outside boundaries of my pride. All of these trees and paths have a bad habit of looking the same."

Although her heart yearned to explore and run rampant within the outside territory of the Unity Walkers Oki seemed to discover more and more an attraction and pleasure to simply residing in the pride. It was hard to explain, really, but there was something about the seclusion and serene atmosphere that was more than enjoyable. She was both a homebody and an rampant explorer simply tied between the middle.

At the offer, the lioness arched a brow.

Join her? It wasn't that Oki was opposed to it as much as it was that she wasn't sure exactly how to react. The offer was sweet but somehow it seemed to encroach upon the thought that if the other was to leave Oki to herself then she would be one of those lost souls who became something feral and wild, unbridled by insanity and left to become an uncivil, crazed being. As colorful and exciting such a mental image was perhaps it couldn't hurt to have this stranger tag along.

"Sure? If you don't mind getting lost in the middle of nowhere for a while," she laughed. "I hope you don't have anywhere you need to be because I have a feeling its going to take a while to get back to my pride." Yes, with the distractions and fascinations that were bound to catch her eye it was certainly safe to say that it would take a few good hours, if not more, before she would eventually attempt to truly find her way back. Oki slowl walked forward while her tail swayed with ease behind her. It would seem that her body was simply loosened from the previous stress and was restored to its old self- a welcomed return to a normal balance!

Looking back toward the other, Okimmi'kya smiled.

"So what brings you out here?"

Ban'ma couldn't help to think that the other lioness was stressing.

Bad.

How one could feel anything, but pure amazement in a place such as this was beyond her understanding. She was such a pretty girl. That face was only going to give her wrinkles at an early age and possibly a bad disposition. Her paws pressed into the moist ground as she approached. "A pride, you say? I'm not that adept at realizing boundaries and I was afraid that I'd overstepped." It seemed that her fears had been justified. Gnawing on her bottom lip, she allowed her shoulders to slump in a heavy sigh. "It wouldn't do for me to get near a border. I can't really defend myself. " Feeling like she had to explain her fretfulness, Ban'ma held up a paw. Whilst performing the same flexing motion that most felines did when one wanted to extend their claws, it was obvious she was without.

The beauty of the jungle around her wasn't enough to keep the fear at bay. She wasn't as big as some of the lionesses she'd seen earlier in her travels and it was painfully obvious she lacked their skills. Her knowledge rested in the caring of young. In her old pride she'd been raised as a nanny; a diplomats daughter who didn't have to lift a paw for anything.

That one night changed the history of her life forever.

And yet, it wasn't in her nature to dwell upon unhappy thoughts. She would just become a rogue and live out her days as rogues did. If younglings could fend for themselves then surely she could as well. That meant that as long as she kept an upbeat attitude that she could lead this lioness back to her pride and be on her way with her head held high.

...Not that the added company didn't keep the heeby-jeebys away.

She smiled. "Suga, I haven't a place to go so don't you worry about a thing." Ban'ma picked up pace behind the clouded female as easily as if she had known her an entire lifetime. There was something about this lioness that she liked. Underneath the frayed edges that came with being lost she held an aura of tranquility about her. Something about the way she carried herself solidified the worries within Ban'ma's own heart and perked her up ten-fold.

"Travelling, mostly." Her mane fell across her left eye as it often did when she walked. "I lost my home a while ago and my paws carried me across cliffs, a desert and a grassland before I wandered here. Your very lucky to live in such a beautiful place. It reminds me so much of home...." Ban'ma trailed off wistfully. Her eyes were searching over the landscape, imaging a temple of stone off in the south and a large pool of water on the other side of the knoll. She wasn't surprised to see that none of this was there, but her ears did flick back. "I'm starting to think that some God is playing with my head."
