Occupation: Primitive crafting expert, Alula knows how to do all things such as work leather, carve wood, make leather, make butter, make baskets, make pottery, make a shelter, make a fire, survive in a foreign environment, knit, crochet, weave, spin thread. Basically those craft skills essential to the starting of a new settlement. All those things you’d expect a pioneer housewife to know, she does, as well as what you’d expect the average Native American woman. She’s made an extensive study of pioneer and native societies and crafts.

Physical Description: Alula is short, with long hair usually held back in a ponytail. Her hair is brown with a hint of red in it. Her eyes are green. She prefers pants, and to dress casually. Even if she is in uniform, she will still be wearing an earring in each ear shaped like a feather, as well as a third earring in her upper ear, also like a feather. (Dangle earrings). She typically wears one ring, shaped like the great serpent, a snake biting its own tail, on her right hand. If in short sleeves, or even long ones, she likes to wear leather cuffs on her wrists.
Personality: Alula loves Native Americans and medieval adventure, and incorporates it into her dress. She loves feathers, and will randomly stick an oversized turkey or other bird feather through her ponytail. She is both firmly rooted in reality, and not. She is perfectly aware of the situation, and will react accordingly and punctually, but always has a second train of thought running in the back of her mind, like a story unfolding, or a song. Because of this, she often looks like her mind is absent, or she’s daydreaming, but she’s not. She loves to help out, but if it involves math, she will avoid it like the plague.
History: Since childhood Alula has been obsessed with older cultures, their way of life, crafts, and hobbies. She has studied them extensively, and has made it a point of learning to be able to live like they did. Her name means ‘winged one, the first', which along with her imagination that seems to fly elsewhere, is what gave her the nickname ‘Wings’ . She is an only child. Somewhere way back, she is related to Germans, Indians, and more closely the Irish (hence the reddish hair and green eyes).

Particular Skills: Alula can make dream catchers and reads a lot. She loves adventure and fantasy novels. She can make and play her own clay flutes. She packed with her a mini-book device on which she has stored thousands of novels, her favorites, to read, as well as some manuals and how-to books.
