This guild is fast filling up with threads and this idea has been sitting in my head for a few days and well I finally decided to make this thread. Even if no one else posts here (which would incidentally make me cry).

Okay here's the main point of this thread. When I listen to music I automatically think 'wow that songs reminds me of -----' or I think of a songfic I could write with the song because it suits a certain character or...well you get the idea right? I though perhaps we could post lyrics here that remind us of the characters of Lost. Whether it's just for discussion purposes or for songfic writers or whatever I would really like this post to be here but if the mod's don't like it then please delete it.

Because I play Shannon in the RP I thought it fitting that I post some lyrics that remind me of her. I've always loved this song and it just fits her to a T. At least as far as I'm concerned....

That's so weird. I do the same thing. Havn't found a Lost song yet, tho. Hope to find one soon. I have a lot of Farscape, Invisible man, and LOTR songs.

I'm bad with putting 2 and 2 together. especialy when it comes to songs. lol the only song that reminds me of lost is the sawyer song!

Speaking of the Charlie/Claire thing, there's a song by Vacancy that totally reminds me of their situation (and has a special place in my heart since it was also dedicated to my cousin who died very suddenly last year.) It works most definately on both levels.

Okay, songs...I can't post lyrics right now, but these are some songs that remind me of LOST.

"She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5 - a Charlie/Claire song. Just makes me think of Charlie's band, and parts of it remind me about their relationship.

There's also this song (I believe it's called "Forgiven"...don't know the artist) that we're doing in the choir at church. It reminds me of Charlie, especially episode six.

And that's all I have right now. I'll try and post lyrics to "She Will Be Loved" soon.

EDIT: Hello, again. Just a few updates...Charlie's special song connects to several episodes, actual. I first connected it to episode seven (NOT six), but it could also go with his conflicts in episode twelve (you know...the episode where he cries), and maybe episode 15. (I say maybe because I had to go to Ash Wednesday observance the day that episode aired.) And we never did the song in church.

And I have yet to post the lyrics to the Charlie/Claire song. I'm lazy. But it will come soon.
