Karma stood in the Fae clearing. Not caring about much. Fate was a hard thing to find at times. She looked around and wondered what else was new to the isle? She had seen a few things, Fate must have thought it was fun to throw such a curve ball out.

Vangelis had asked to see the 'fahrest' again, and Texas was happy to oblige, scooping his little boy up and heading out of their house at the edge of the Pae'Kippu Beach and to the Loka Nei forest where he had been born. As they walked, Texas named the trees and asked if Vangelis wanted to repeat him; sometimes, he would get a response, and at other times, Vangelis shook his head and resumed tapping Texas' chest rhythmically.
The little boy was already a very musical child, and it was delightful for Texas. Maybe his little boy would grow up to be some kind of musical virtuoso. "You can keep time better than I can," observed Texas, with a snicker.
Vangelis looked up to Texas and giggled in turn, before turning his attention back to Texas' chest, trying to figure out the different sounds each part of it made. He hit the man's shoulder, and then near his heart, giggling at how much deeper one sounded than the other, and how pushing Texas' shoulder made him jerk a little. The little boy tapped his shoulder again, but this time, Texas was expecting it and kept a little more steady.
As they were walking, Vangelis noticed that there were less and less trees, and it quickly started to bother him. Weren't they in the forest? "Papa, why less tah-rees?"
Texas glanced around, and then turned around to discover that they had left the trees behind them entirely. Of course, it looked like there were still plenty of trees in the distance. Was that a faerie he saw in the distance? Loka Nei did have a little place that was clear like this; what was it called again? ... Oh, right! "Well, Vangelis, we're in the Fae Clearing. A clearing is a place in a forest where there's less trees. And this clearing is particular is a place where lots of fae like Criofan and Magnus like to gather. See, there's a fae over there." The demonic adjusted Vangelis so he could point out the woman in the distance.
Vangelis nodded, understanding Texas' description. "Kay. Cah-leer-in kay then."

Fate's alive, Karma thought as she heard someone behind her. "Hello?" She said as she walked over to the demon carrying a small pae. "You scared me." She admitted, as he mind had been filled with thoughts about Fate and such.
She walked closer and saw that the child was unlike any child she had seen before. "What kind of pae is this?" She asked as she smiled at the little blue guy. "I've never seen a pae such as this before.

Texas wasn't expecting the fae to walk over to them, but he didn't mind it. He nodded his own hello, before listening to the fae woman ask him a curious question. The demon gave his adopted son a fatherly kiss on the forehead before replying, "This little boy is Vangelis. He's a faun, from the Tree Laisidhiel." The demonic felt accomplished because he knew about Vangelis' history, but yet, he still wanted to know more.
Vangelis nodded firmly, pointing to himself. Then, he tilted his head at the brown Pae'il in front of him and pointed, silently asking for a name. Before she responded, though, Vangelis was distracted by the sounds of birds in the air and became fascinated with staring up at the sky instead, mouth pursing into an 'o.' The music they made was pretty!
Texas chuckled. "My little boy adores anything musical." He shifted Vangelis once again so he could offer a hand to the woman standing in front of him. He might-as-well formally introduce himself. "I'm Texas Pete. And you are?"

She nodded and thought about Fate. She must be live an well to bring new pae breeds to the Isle. This thought made her pretty happy. She took his hand and shook it. "I'm Karma. It's nice to meet you both." She smiled down at the little blue boy, "Aren't you adorable?"

While Vangelis seemed to understand what Karma had called him, he didn't seem inclined to respond verbally. Instead, the little boy grinned happily, before turning his attention back to the birds in the sky, finding them much more interesting than their current conversation.
Even though Texas wished little Vangelis would talk more, he figured that was enough. He chuckled quietly at the little boy before turning back to Karma. "Karma?" He asked, letting go of her hand after shaking it. "That's an interesting name." Most faeries seemed to be based off of some kind of story, right? Perhaps Karma was based off of the concept of karma...
No, that was too obvious. "What brings you out here today?" It was a nice day out in Texas' mind, but the forest's air was a lot heavier than usual and he knew that not many people were really enjoying the weather as much as he was. He loved the summer and had always wished they could be in a place as tropical as this.

She smiled as the boy now watched the birds. How sweet and innocent children are, she thought. She then turned her attention back to the demon, "Thanks. I like it."
Karma looked around, "Oh, well, Fate takes me where she pleases." She giggled. Fate had a way of taking her where she needed to go." She smiled back at the two. "I guess I could be here to meet you." She smiled, or it was to meet a faun, Karma never quite knew what Fate intended.
((Info for Karma, she believes Fate is a being, what kind? Don't know lol))

Fate? Was there another fae with her somewhere? Texas did a quick scan around the Fae Clearing to see if he saw any other faes beside Karma, but it looked like the Fae Clearing was, well, clear beside for the three of them and some interesting animals who were making noises that were intriguing his little Vangelis.
Texas, now slightly concerned that the woman may be out of her mind and not wanting his son near a crazy person, kindly asked, "No offense or anything, but where's this Fate you speak of? I don't see any other Pae'il around here, and you seem to imply she brought you here..." He trailed off, clearly a little concerned.
Vangelis watched his father get all serious and decided that he was boring because his voice had gotten all flat and uninteresting. The little boy pouted briefly at the sounds Texas was making with that mouth of his, before he squirmed around in Texas' arms so he could get a better look at the brown fae woman. The noises she made were lighter than the ones Texas made.
(( Haha, poor Texas is all, "Wait, is she nuts? o.o" ))

"Where? Well, no where really, silly." She giggled as now she thought he was the crazy one. "Fate is who guides me. She knows the right place to send me. I never know what's going to happen until I get where she sends me. So, where, no where and everywhere." She smiled as to her the statement was completely clear.

That sounded vaguely religious... Oh! Fate must have been her personal goddess. Well, that was alright, then. She was just very devoted to something that, though might've not been there, wasn't harmful. Texas was fine with that. She wasn't a threat or insane or anything of the sort in that case. "Well, that's fair enough. I suppose fate acts in strange ways."
Texas seemed to be a little calmer now, which was good for Vangelis because he didn't like when his father got all boring and over concerned, because then the sounds he made weren't as pretty. Now, the warm baritone Texas' voice had settled at was much better for the little toddler, and he happily snuggled up to Texas, pressing his ear near the man's throat so he could hear the sounds better.
The demonic glanced down at his son and couldn't help chuckling. "Vangelis seems to like sounds of all sorts. I think he's my little virtuoso." He patted the little boy on the head with a loving smile on his face.

"Oh, she does, but I never doubt her." Karma really didn't. Even after she found love only to have it disappear as soon as it appear, she just knew that Fate had a reason.
"Oh, yeah?" She shook her leg and a soft tinkling sound was heard as the bells of her bracelet was jostled. She smiled and hoped he liked the sound.

The little rings reached Vangelis' ears, and the little boy's eyes widened as he quickly looked for a source to the foreign noises. Vangelis started to lean out of Texas' arms when he figured out that the sound was underneath him, and his eyes sparkled when he saw the little bells she had on her ankles. Wow! The little boy reached out for them, wanting to play with them himself.
Texas yanked Vangelis back a little before the boy fell out of his arms, instead squatting down so the little boy could get a better look. In the meantime, he looked up to Karma and nodded, chuckling. "Yeah."

Karma smiled as the toddler did indeed like her bells. She shook them more so the soft tinkling was a little louder. Karma was happy he liked it, she hadn't really been around many kids before and she hoped she was doing the right things.

It seemed like she was doing the right thing for this particular little toddler. He loved the ringing of the bells, and loved it even more when she found a way to change their ringing, making it louder and at a faster pace. Vangelis bounced up and down in Texas' arms to the rhythm of the bells, truly excited by the sounds he was hearing.
His little boy was so adorable. Texas couldn't help snickering quietly, before whispering an, "Aww," to himself. Either his son was easy to amuse or he just liked how those bells sounded, but whatever it was, it was still completely adorable. "You like the bells, don't you Vangelis?"
Vangelis nodded, even his nods oddly in sync with the bells they were listening too.

"He's such a cutie." Karma said as she shook her bells for him. She then pursed her lips and whistled a little harmony to go with the bells. She watched to see his reaction to this added music.
