physical description
If you picture a 5’5” S shape with flaxen hair and glasses, you pretty much have Felia nailed down, appearance wise. She’s the embodiment of sarcasm as a defence mechanism; she wears a perpetual frown, slouches constantly, and dresses in two sizes too large, form unflattering clothing. Ophelia has sharp eyes, light green in colour and accented by strong and constantly furrowed brows. Her shoulders jut forward and her neck disappears into a hunch that would make a chiropractor cringe (thank you, video game addiction!). Her hair hangs shoulder length with fluffy jagged bangs, and is utterly choppy and ratty from countless self haircutting sessions, done oftentimes out of pure boredom in the middle of the night. Her pale skin is speckled with blemishes, scars, and freckles alike. With a wardrobe of witty t-shirts, baggy patterned pants, and oversized skate shoes, Ophelia epitomises the student appearance frame of mind that can often be detrimental to progressing anywhere outside of the classroom.
personality
Neat freak, organized, worrying, phobic, fears the unknown, pessimistic, emotionally sensitive, fears chaos, risk averse, fragile, unadventurous, depressed, frequently second guesses self, does not like to stand out, perfectionist, hard working, independent, practical, ordinary, cautious, sarcastic, good at saving money, suspicious, heart over mind, busy, altruistic. Felia is a meek girl with little motivation and faith in herself and her abilities, and therefore is hesitant to push her own limits and make something of herself.
History/background: Right out of college, Ophelia had thought her career in journalism would take off exponentially. But with the print news medium suffering, and her blog seeming to catch the attention of no one, Felia finds herself keeping her day job at her college’s Print and Copy Centre. Although never boring, she’s grown quite tired of seeing students come and go, and make something of themselves, while she’s stuck in a rut that she hasn’t, until now, found the motivating factor to push herself out of.
why she applied
Ophelia’s absolutely tired of seeing all the optimistic students passing her by, who seem to have it all together and are focused on their own futures, as she once had been. So, she decided that maybe, if she pushed her writing into another avenue, it would open her up to new worlds and opportunities, so to speak. Although she isn’t really used to this whole fantasy business, she’s always had the imagination to pull off a story like the one she’s attempting. She just needs to step up to the challenge.

Ageless. What I mean is, directly related to her race’s lore and abilities, she was one of the first twelve of her kind created at the dawn of time, and, her race does not age past a physicality of their choosing. She chose to stop at age 32.

physical description
Pandora is East Indian, her skin a beautiful, flawless mocca colour and her hair dark and long, falling in generous curls. Her nose is hooked, her lips are full, and her eyes are light and big. She has very strong features, crafted by herself through manipulations of her physicality over the years, to accommodate toward modern beauty. Similarly, her body shape is a desirable hourglass shape of unnatural (while not completely ridiculous) curves and angles in just the right places. She stands just over 170 cm but is often boosted by expensive, heeled footwear.
personality
Tough, irritable, worrying, does not like to be alone, craves attention, low self control, emotionally sensitive, very social, aggressive, dependent, manipulative, social chameleon, suspicious, malicious, outgoing, likes to make fun, vain, enjoys leadership, clingy, self-absorbed, rash, stubborn, temperamental, insecure. Pandora is a powerful woman who uses sex as a weapon to manipulate people into doing her bidding. Because of her incredibly high status in her society, it often times works in her favour (but oh, if she only knew how many people do it out of fear, not respect like she assumes). She struggles with personal relations, and is incredibly insecure, requiring constant ego-stroking and reassurance of her greatness to prevent setting her off into a fit of rage and rash decision making.

the story
name
Boxed In: A Beautiful Evil (a working title)
summary
Ophelia, at first, plans for Pandora to be the girl she both hates and admires, the one with everything and the confidence to match. But she’ll soon find, that once she falls into Pandora’s frame of mind, both in starting to write her, and, soon, starting to become her, that the woman she thought had everything together is actually worse off than even Felia herself.
As for the story itself, Felia prefers a stream of consciousness to her writing, which pretty much stems out of her own lack of an ability to form a solid plan and stick to it. It will be revealed that the story will revolve around a power struggle for a woman who has lived a thousand lifetimes as top dog of her own race. Pandora begins to break down as a person, realizing her own limitations and shortcomings as she had not, for thousands upon thousands of years, been aware of, and, on top of this, fights to keep command of a race who is quickly beginning to discredit her reign and her influence over them.
Pandora will have to reinforce the governmental structure of the High Council of the Time Rangers, or watch the twelve leaders lose their life’s work and her people turn to chaos.
