Skie was curled up in the warm sand sunning himself in the warm noon sun. He was in the place where his clan once dwelled, but dwelled no more. For his clan was long gone, murdered by killers he did not wish to remember. Skie sighed a sad sigh and looked out at the ocean, remembering fond memories, and times that were joyful. He was alone, with no one around for miles. Every now and then he'd wonder how his friends were, and then his mind would drift off into emptiness. He doesn't even know how long he had been there. He was hungry, he knew he should eat, but did not feel like getting up, eventually he fell into a restless sleep.

Sheeba had flown from Dragonfang Mt. with a meeting with the other ancients. Now he is on his way home to the Ocean city in the deepest depths of the ocean. He had caught himself a couple of rather large bucks on his way, and thought that he would settl on the beach and eat and rest there before continuing his journey. Then he caught side of a small blue dot off to the west, and wondering, began to fly there. When he got closer he recognize the dot as the blue dragon Skie. He circled, then began to spiral down, and backwinged and his hind haunches touched the sandy beach. He was silent, and sensing the mood from his friend, didn't think the blue heard him land. Plus the blue was a very pale shade from the color he usually was and figured he hadn't eaten for awhile. Sheeba took one of the bucks in his maw then took the one in his claws and dropped in next to Skie, then took the other out of his maw into his other claw. "You look like you need these more than I do." He then set the other one next to the first and moved away. "I'm not going away til you eat them, and if you don't start now I'll shove them down your throat."

Skie didn't move when his old time friend landed near him and set down a couple of bucks down near him. He didn't feel like eating, but he didn't really want anything shoved down his throat either, so he started on one. Once he started eating he found that he was ravished and downed the whole buck and started on the second one til it was completly gone. He felt a little better, but found he was still hungry, but instead of getting something else to eat he just washed the blood off in the sea water, then curled back up. After a long moment of silence, "Thank you." He thought it was rude not to say anything polite, especially after eating someone else's dinner, offered or not. Then, "You finally get to go home?"

At first he thought that he would actually have to start shoving them down Skie's throat, but then Skie started chewing on one and Sheeba waited patiently. "Your welcome." Sheeba moved around Skie so that he sat before him. "Yes, they've released me." Sheeba didn't release any more information. "Though the constant meetings were beginning to get tiresome. But its settled now." He thought a moment, "Skie I know this is your home. But it does you no good to sulk here alone. Why don't you come back with me. It may do you some good." He paused for a moment, thinking of some sort of threat, then smiled when he thought of one. "Or maybe I should just tell Our goddess Madi or maybe the goddess of light." He shrugged, "Or perhaps both, of your condition. Perhaps they will find a way to cheer you up." He looked at Skie, he thought if that didn't do it then he probably would have to tell Madi or Saia about Skie's sulky condition. Sheeba knew that those two would never leave Skie alone. He cringed, well perhaps he would pray to the Goddess Madi. But he waited to see what the reaction would be.

As Skie ate he only half listened to Sheeba, but cringed when he heard Sheeba's threat. He heaved a sigh after swallowing the last buck and slowly got to his feet and studied Sheeba. "Knowing you that's not an empty threat." He sat on his haunches and eyed Sheeba, "That's a dirty threat, you know those two would never leave me alone." He sighed again, "Fine I will go with you."

Sheeba nodded his head in satisfaction. "Good let's go." He turned immediately and moved away so that he could gain some air without smacking Skie with his wings. Once he got himself into the air he hovered over the waves and waited for Skie to get into the air before continueing, just to make sure the other was coming with him. "We will fly aways til reaching the deepest part of the ocean, then we will dive into the water."

Skie stretched his muscles, then began pumping his wings a couple times, crouched down and sprang into the air, continuing to pump his wings til he was level with Sheeba. "Lead on old friend I will follow."

Sheeba bowed his head in satisfaction and headed out away from the beach.
