I especially love his music after he sort of left the pop sound and went towards a funkier sound and sometimes even hip-hop... Awesome stuff.

Since everyone agrees with the Purple Rain era being his most prolific, I'd have to go with his 'Dirty Mind' era or 'Sign 'O' The Times'. Two amazing works of art.

Purple Rain to mid 90s. He still does some pretty awesome stuff with the movie business. Some of his new stuff seems kind of slow paced next to back in 1984. Still lovin' it though. I still would like to see the mid 80's Prince return. Shall I say, the guyliner, the manscaped face, the unisex clothes, the feminine masculinity, and the erotic yet innocent dancing. I love the 80's best. Adam Lambert will be the new generation Prince and no one can deny it.

From the begining until the Rainbow Children Album, I was disappointed with that one~ Best era by far is 80's-90's!
