Personality: Outwardly, she's just another lazy, passionless, rough-around-the-edges youth, hanging around in her parents' basement after high school. But in truth, she only shows no interest in anything because she's let music take that place. The appears inattentive as her mind wanders through lyrics and notes, and she's intensely irritable when her musings are interrupted. She can unravel melodies and chords at the drop of a hat, but finds real life problems much trickier. Jube, normally bitter and cynical, turns into a completely different person when she's writing, listening to, or playing music; it's like a weight is lifted off her shoulders.

Biography: Jubilation was born in Arizona, and lived there until her father was transferred to Virginia. She was thirteen. Six years later, she still won't call Manassas her home. In the summer, she wishes for the mercifully dry heat of her birthplace instead of the acrid, stifling humidity she gets, and in the winter, she wishes for the mildness. She has refused to make friends here, preferring to become embroiled in her creations.

Personality: Richard is the sort of guy who would throw off his best coat and put it on the ground so a girl didn't have to step in a puddle, countering that, he's a bit clumsy aand has been known to get lost in literature while he listens to music.

Biography: Micheal is amoung the many men born in the Caverns to a mother who is kidnapped from the outside world. He of course grew up with hope that he too would one day find a girl to his liking, of course, it's hard to know what you'll do once you meet her, especially if the only women you've seen in the cavern belong to someone else. Not that he looks at girls as propety! Far from it! His mother would bake him in a pie if he even made a comment like that. His father too. He just really isn't that good at talking to girls, and he hopes he hasn't scared the one he chose too badly.

Extra: Richards perfect girl should be able to keep herself in check, and yet be able to be compasionate. They also had better not mind music.

Character Name: Alena Hart

Personality: Overall, Alena is a pretty shy girl who would like to make new friends. But, she tends to go from being to being very blunt and let's just say willing to stand up for what's right for herself and others. She doesn't really know how to express herself in words, unless they are written on paper.

Biography: Alena was born into a middle class family, her father is a psychologist and her mother is also one. She has a younger brother who is very smart for being a 10 year old. They used to live in Ohio but her father decided to move to Virgina (that's where the Rp takes place right?). She's used to being here but would like to make friends.

Extra: Her favorite type of guy would be laid-back, calm, nice and caring.

Character Name: Nathaniel Branam

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Personality: Has a strong moral compass and sense of duty. Possesses an unshakable calm that keeps him thinking rationally. Courageous in a passive, silent way. Stubborn as a mule, and will dig his heels in even if he knows he can't win. This also extends to arguments -- He will continue to carry on a verbal altercation far past the point where he's seen the fault in his idea. Despite all this, he has a kind and gentle heart, though he doesn't like to admit it.

Biography: Born the son of one of the tyrants of Mortag, his father's actions hounded him throughout his life. Around eighteen years old he began to think of a plan for what he would do when he went out to find his bride, and it was to simply not go back. He began to make arrangements in secret for a place to stay in a neighboring kingdom, and by now, everything is set. Let's just hope Father Dearest doesn't get wind of this.

Extra: He adores reading, though he can't write anything but doggerel for himself. He admires writing talent in other people without envy, and perhaps seeks this trait in a bride.

Character Name: Akar Bajiin

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Personality: Akar tries, is desperate, but won't settle for less. Highly organized, though a little scatterbrained. Artistic and instinctive.

Biography: Born in the Caverns, Akar is used to the dark. He lives by himself, and this will be his third time out of Mortag. In his previous years, Akar has failed to return with a bride, though not for lack of trying. He is just very particular about who he will spend the rest of his life with, and trying to to frighten her (too badly).

Appearance:

Extra: Akar has friends that are women in Mortag, though they are obviously untouchable. He has offered to steal back a new bride for one of his friends in exchange for his wife, though that idea cost him his friendship and he hasn't done it again. I guess all he wants is a little assurance.

Character Name: Hope Derickson

Gender: Female

Age: 26

Personality: Impulsive and a quick thinker, Hope makes things up as she goes. She tends to be insensitive and rude to people she doesn't know.

Biography: Born and raised in Virginia, Hope was born into a rich family of prestigious entrepreneurs. Given everything she wanted in life, Hope was raised a happy girl, to an obedient teenager, to a fine young woman. Graduating with honors from the highest artistic schools in Virginia, Hope entered a career in dance, and soon became a ballet instructor. She now lives happily in a flat, with her husband, Jacob, and her 4-year-old daughter, Vanessa.

Extra: Hope loves dancing and boxing. Her favorite food is Italian, and she has arachnophobia. She is also claustrophobic.

Age: 40

Personality: Anabell is a very kind, motherly figure. She's been seen to many a girl as a saint amoung monsters for it's true that the men in the caverns are very pale and nearly alien. Of course, she's one of the most influencial amoung them, so it works out.

Biography: Anabell is one of the most important figures in the cave, she, amoung others who like her husband care for the wellbeing of their society and the people within it, are the Elders. Of course, they're not really That old... She was brought up in Virginia and just a few days after her eigteenth birthday was stolen away from her world. Granted, she loves he new one much more, but still. She resented her husband, Micheal Dementia, for a very long and painful period during which she transformed her attitude, and somehow, fell in love. Her son, Richard, has just gone out into the world and brought back a very lovely girl, just as boys do every year in the caverns, and she worries. Will everything work as it's supposed to?

Extra: Anabell is the Female Elder of the caves. Her word is, mostly, law. She takes care of every woman brought into the caves.
