Well this was wack. Fighting his brother in the first round. Oh well, can't say he didn't see it coming. Elliot made he way to the center of the arena from his side of the ring, cigar in mouth. May the better man win.

Complete and total bullshit! Bishop was furious about round one, why the ******** would he have to fight his brother in round one? Whatever, he'd still whip that a**....yep yep. Bishop strolled out into the arena wearing his black pants, with matching shoes long sleeve t shirt, and gloves, his blue collared shirt [button down], his original shield, and his double edge katana, though it was highly possibly he may not even use it. He would stop about 50 yards from Elliot and shrug his shoulders before chuckling.
"Dayum.....Oh well, looks like you ain't gettin' that 100k."
After his words, Bishop would crack his knuckles and his neck and simply watch his brother, he wasn't going to use tools unless his brother did. Hand to hand, or various melee, mattered not to Bishop. All that mattered was that one of the three brothers made it to the final and won that too.

"Oh, you got jokes?"
Elliot replied, advancing forward and spitting out his cigar, letting it slowly die out on the dusty ground. The match-up had him bummed. He wanted to say '******** it' and let Tzak pass, but if Elliot was truly better, then in the long run he wouldn't be doing them a favor.
The hispanic wore his usual fight uniform, a black beater and dark green cargo shorts, with dirty white and black canvas sneakers on his feet. His ninjato was strapped to his back, kusarigama coiled and clipped on his waist, like how Indiana Jones does with his whip. He wanted whichever one to progress to do so with as little damage done to them as possible.
"Any rules?"

"No weapons, no extra s**t. Straight hand to hand....Sound cool?"
Bishop would pull his shield off as he walked to the side of the the arena, where he would set down his shield and lay his sheathed sword againt the arena wall. He would then remove his bowie knife as well. Elliot know he carried it, and to show he really was going to be fair, he discarded it. Bishop then walked back to the center of the arena, well, close to anyways, he as about 10-15 yards from Elliot. The crowd didn't seem to hyped to see two first timers in the ring, especially since they had yet to even throw a punch, a few booed them and Bishop set aside his weapons.
"Ready..."
He spoke as he bounce around a bit, cracking his neck and knuckles, rotating his shoulders....really making sure he was all stretched out. This was not going to be a cake walk, but it wasn't going to be hard either. One slip up from either guy could end this match right here and now.

"That'll work, Rubio"
Elliot replied, departing to his side of the ring and discarding his weapons, taking his goddamn time. As he laid them near the gate he heard some guy yell "Git on wit' it!" Elliot flipped him the bird and joined his brother in the center.
"Yea, let's see if that gym membership was worth your money."
The karate-ka replied, taking his usual southpaw stance. He stood sideways, right leg in front, left in back, feet hip length apart, propped on the balls of feet, bouncing with a broken, unpredictable rhythm. His lead hand was protruded, guarding his face and chest as his left kept back to his stomach.
He was ready whenever.

Bishop would bounce right on up to his brother with a broken rhythm, his stance more boxer-ish in terms of guard. His arms mostly guarding his mid section, but close enough to block his face in necessary. He would bob and weave the invisible ninjas swiftly before he would feint a right, feint a left, and then actually swing throwing his weight into a right hook. Should those feints had fooled his brother at all from the mix up of the usual stances, that hook would most likely draw first blood in the match. However it was nowhere near hard enough to knock out his brother. Bishop was just making a statement that he learned to switch it up in fights, to not do the same s**t, to not be predictable, and thats just what he did. Elliot would son realize, that the kid he grew up fighting, just change fighting styles after years of doing the same old cheap s**t.

As Bishop took his stance, Elliot would already begin to dissect it.
It reminded him of a boxer, which was fine, well for boxing that is. Boxing was a sport, not a deadly art, meaning that during bouts fighters were protected by rules and regulations that didn't apply in full contact fights. This made fighters more oriented to defending their upper half, giving them the mindset that blows were only dealt to the chest and head with the hands, rather than below the belt. Given his opening moves, it seemed as though this was the mindset that Bishop now subscribed to as well. Digression.
His lead hands would slap away the feints as they came in range. As the right hook came to Elliot's left he would rest his weight entirely on his back (left) leg, taking him out of the hook's specific range. As he did this he countered with a right legged snap kick to Bishop's undefended striking side, targeting his brother's hip. The attack's force considerably lower than usual, but still painful no less. Might even make him stumble.

Judging by the force and timing of the that kick, and the placement, it was quite accurate and was bound to hit, and so it would drive into his hip. Bishop would stumble back about six feet. He would then try to re-gather himself before Elliot took advantage of the few second stall like Bishop assumed he would.

Well, it was Elliot's specialty.
Back before he had powers and fought in tournaments he loved to start things off with a swift kick targeted to the hip to disrupt his opponent, then move in with a flurry of lead legged side kicks, aimed at the lower stomach or ribs, whichever was open. This is exactly what he'd do. In retrospect Bishop would probably know this, but Elliot had trained his body to react in that way, like a wolf instinctively chases a rabbit.

Epic ******** phailure! Elliot did not approach Bishop from his stumble. And so when those volley of kicks began Bishop was ready to go, he would swiftly step forth about six steps, dropping low at the last second to miss the kick and perform a low kick to Elliot's footed leg. This was to knock him off balance this time.

Elliot's author had slipped up in his post ad left out a crucial detail. Oh well, he had been tryinpracticing ground fighting, and what better time to try it than one of the largest and most renowned tournaments in all of Gaia...Right.
Elliot would land on his back, preforming a break fall to reduce the damage taken. Expecting Bishop to take advantage of the situation, Elliot would guard himself. He would raise his head and shoulders off the ground and defend them with his hands. He would raise one leg to his chest as if preparing to kick while the other kept on the ground. He would use this to pivot himself as he rested on the small of his back.

Bishop would lace their legs with each others left between the other's legs. and that right foot [Bishop narrator would assume], would be placed over the left knee, and Bishop right foot over Elliots right foot, this swift movement would meet its end with Bishop pulling his weight back in almost a dead weight drop back to snap into a horrible feeling figure four leg lock on Elliot, he would either give up, or have his leg ******** for the rest of the tournament at this rate. This showed how bad Bishop wanted that money, though he was fair and stuck to his word, no weapons, no abnormal powers, just physical contact.

It seems his brother had been watching too much wrestling.
As the lock was being set in place, Elliot was already trying to get to his feet. Throughout the move Elliot would be hella fidgety, slowing down the process, and by the time the leg lock was completed he would be sitting up. Legs bounded, Elliot would grab at Bishop's right foot, presumably the one on top, his right hand pulling up at the toes as his left pushed down at the ankle, twisting it inward past its natural range of motion. Sitting up would lower the stress taken on his joints and allow him to put more weight into his twist. The joint of the ankle was surely more vulnerable than those of the knees. With both hands working in opposite directions, maxing out their strength, Bishop's ankle would be broken in seconds while breaking Elliot's knees would take a little longer.
He wanted that money too.

Elliot's already close right foot was targeted. Bishop's free left arm would wrap around that foot/leg, his right hand pushing on the shin and the left arm would force the blade of the forearm into the achillies [sp] tendon and throttle it, putting focus into that with the leg lock as he pulled back. His ankle was getting ********, but Elliot was getting a knee and an ankle ********, and Elliot was limited on the shots the doc had, as Bishop in a since had an internal life time supply. Bishop wouldn't let gom ******** that. Bishop was after all, Acheron, the river of ******** pain, a TRS figure head, and what better way to show his gangs pride than to out do others in battles of will power and durability. He spoke with a grunt of pain.
"Give up grease ball....."
