Description: Unlike last year, the stone platform has been removed, making the entire ring nothing but a sandy ground. A twenty foot wall surrounds the ring to protect the audience in this open ceiling stadium.

Field Measurements:
Ring: 70 yard diameter

Ten Count Boundary: As soon as a fighter enters the bleachers, the count begins. The flying rule remains, as well.

-Em

Soon pairing were up. Eventually the dhampir would find his name, seeking out the designated stadium. Once the location was in fact found, the officer would simply 'vapour' his way into the middle of the ring
-match hasn't started yet, so I'm assuming this is acceptable without dq-

Once dead center, the piggy would manifest and stand in his usual stance. One arm behind his back, and the other hanging at his side. Left behind, and right free down next to his hip.

With that, he'd stand and wait. Maroon optics gazing around while other forms of detection swept out ward from his body.

Like a sprite waiting to fight, he'd shift back and fourth waiting.

The competitor was just a bit late, or perhaps, he was on time and Emkay was simply early. Either way, it didn't really matter; the crowd was getting rather antsy waiting for the fight to begin, and Vincentius Alaphare was a man who gave the crowd what it wanted. Vincentius entered through one of the back doors and moved up to the wall surrounding the arena. With reletive ease, he pushed himself up and over the wall and walked towards the center of the ring.

His massive sword swung from side to side as he made his way to the center and toward his opponent. Standing to about 6'11" and roughly 250lbs, the man was a monster, and so was the sword that he carried on his back which was six and a half feet long. The hilt of the said sword was about a foot and a half, a typical hand and a half sword, and the blade, obviously, was five feet. The man had sandy-brown hair and his eyes matched it, except, there was a slight show of green deep within the sandy irises. Brushing his brown hair out of his face, the man grinned as he stepped up and stopped about ten feet away from Emkay.

"Well met, friend. Let's make this a bloody and enjoyable battle for all, shall we?" Bloody? Why in the world would the man want to do that, after-all, he was wearing nothing but black jeans and a black tank top. Well, not completely true. There was his armored gauntlets with the spikes that lined the knuckles, and there were also the leg guards which covered from his thigh down to his shin and were attached to his legs by tight leather straps which held them in place. Adorning those guards were also spikes at random intervals, but mostly they lined the thigh, a few down the shin, and a spike on each knee. All in all, the man didn't appear all that deadly, yet, anyway.

Hefting the massive sword up off his back with ease, he held it easily in his right hand and allowed it to touch the ground out infront of him. Vincentius Alaphare was ready.

Seemed like a nice guy. Too bad the mission called for extreme prejudice. In any case, he'd just nod, watching that insanely large sword. Almost questioning if it could, even touch the dhampir.

"Aight?"

Suddenly the disembodied voice of the announcer rang out:

"Heaven or Hell; FIGHT!"

With that, Em would still his mind, and allow the focus of his mental pool to manifest within. Forming a single charge* of his unique energy. Because of this, his body flared invisibly.

Putting off a soft barely noticeable current of inert energetic back wash.

Any who; soon after the voice, Em would jolt forward at a fifteen mph run. Kicking up dirt and sand behind him, before he'd slide to halt at about five feet distance from his foe.

During the movement, he'd allowed his left hand; alread behind him, to shift a coat tail, and reach for something on his utility belt back there.
{And hence-}

[Edited upon request and agreement by both parties.]

As the embodied voice rang out around the two men, Vince simply shook his head and closed his eyes, not really caring what the man did at this point. Sure, the man was charging energy, and whilst Vince wasn't completely aware of that, he had an idea, because at the same time, he was doing the same thing, in his own way, of course. When Vince had closed his eyes, chunks of dirt and sand began to rip itself up off the ground and float around Vince's knees, hanging there about his knees as a sort of manifestation of Vince's energy.

What kind of energy, one might ask? Who knew. This energy was completed about the time that Emkay stopped his rush forward, and Vince's sword sat at the edge of the ground still, completely paused in it's movement. True enough, Vince was more than capable of swinging the sword at Emkay and striking it at him right now, but instead, no. Vince had another plan for the dhamphir, for the man, for whatever this thing was. Vince's eyes snapped open to glare at the dhampir as the dirt and sand floated about his knees, circling around the knees in a very slow fashion.

What in the world was this energy that the man was exerting? What in the nine hells was going to happen when enough of this energy was amassed? What was the dhamphir falling into? He was allowing this massive man to mass energy which, obviously, he was powerful already.

Energy charge = 1.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 14, 2009 9:11 pm

{For reference, so you can kinda grasp what alignment the energy will be -neutral-, a dhampir is basically a day walker..acept the practical technical term.
A half vampire, half human, spawned from vampire rape..}
Yum. Energy wasn't so much dangerous in Em's eyes. It was part of every day work, and his main consistant diet. Still. It wasn't safe to just run around devouring energy.

-not to mention it's been expressly banned that he do so in this tourny-

Still; he wasn't out by any means. He'd now just shift his center of gravity up out of 'rooted balance', so he could be fluent on his toes and such. Still; even with the option of being all libidy dibidy quick-

Resident piggy just started inching toward the foe. Arm still behind his back with full knowledge that his much smaller object would move much faster then that six foot sword.

His hat brim was low. Hiding his eyes and signals they may give away. Footing, and hips solid. No precognitive telegraphy for the foe to work with.

What a strange man. Or officer rather. In any case, he was still quite focused. Calm rather. So with another deep inhale, he'd breath in chi from the air and convert it once again to his own strange form.

The aura didn't grow at all. Though the chi intake could be noted by any who had an operating third eye, or any other means of seeing the arcane. Yap, apparently this vampire was tuned to the cosmos.

Which stemmed the question; What the ********/>{* 2 charges currently -sorry, I'll be more mindfull of keeping track and keeping this info posted-}

Enter the dragon

Vince's eyes changed, violently. There was a narrowing of Vince's eyes and a change in color. A sharp, drastic change which threw the eyes to a vibrant emerald green, totally abandoning the sandy-brown that had been there but moments before. Now, this alone wouldn't have been alarming seeing as how Vince was already proven to have some kind of innate magical energy, but what appeared in the middle of the narrowed emerald green eyes was what was dangerous about it.

A serpentine slit appeared in the middle of the narrowed eyes. This, again, wasn't bad, but as Vince stood there, seconds after the man began to inch forward, the sand and the dirt around his knees ripped upwards into the sky, floating around Vince's shoulders now instead of his knees. This was complimented by even more dirt and sand being ripped up from the ground to float around Vince's shoulders, but only for a second more.

Charge=2

The sand and dirt that surrounded Vince's shoulders blasted outwards and scattered among the ground as his mostly exposed skin began to change. Green scales quickly covered over his skin, and then, a massive pair of wings burst forth from his back, followed a second later by a huge tail which smacked the ground with impatience. Vince's face extended outwards as the scales covered his face, his jaw grew outwards, his teeth extended out over his bottom jaw, and a fearsome roar was let go from his throat.

Along with this, massive talon-like claws burst forth from Vince's boots to bend forward and dig slightly into the sandy ground. Vince's fingers which were wrapped in the protective gauntlets also transformed, though not visibly except for the massive claws which tore through the steel gauntlets with ease. The creature was now something much more than man, complete with more strength. More muscle mass was also gained, more arm muscle, more leg muscle, and more muscle mass in general around his chest.

The dragon stood there, newly completed, watching the dhampir. Let him use what he had behind his back. It wouldn't make a whole lot of a difference at this point, really. The green dragon was waiting. Waiting for the dhampir to finally make his move.

Charge-2 = 0 for Half-Dragon Transformation.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 14, 2009 9:52 pm

He'd already made it.

Em didn't just stand idly during a transformation. Thinking he would was just plain folly. At about the time that the creature gathered vibration to roar, Em had already jolted at vampire speed to lift into the air just enough to land a solid right knee into the foe's face.

Ouch.

In any case, the object in hand was being brought forward with the momentum intially, so it'd be in swing actually during the connection of the first blow itself.

The extendable baton clicked into place mid-swing as it aimed to bash the foe into a coma from a head shot-

Dragon or not. Baton for the win.

Not that Em thought this would down the foe. It was a dragon! A my muscles equal the sun in power effing dragon!

Still. the two blows delivered at that speed would be more then devistating and insanely hard to react to. Easily enough damage to kill a mortal, faster then most eyes could keep up with, and very much enough damage, and kinetic force to stun a dragon of any kind.

Did I mention Em kills arch-demons for a living? -And other monstrosities that normal heroes frail from?

Any who, if all went as planned, he was prepared. If it didn't he was prepared. If a f*cking T-rex busted in through the stadium at that very moment; He was prepared.
(xp)
{*Charges=2}
{Oh, and Em's about six foot/ two hundred and fifty lbs -compact muscle- But er. damn..I was thinking...and I don't wana piss you off or question your design..but your char should weigh* more with that kind of height I'd imagine?
-is his build kinda small or something?-
-obviously not in dragon mode, but ya, curious-}

Regardless of how things were meant to go, there was a bit of a structural difference between dragon faces and heads and that of a human. Dragons, even half-dragons, had faces which expanded outwards, massive jaws more than faces. The jaws jutted outwards and the head was flattened out towards the back, the eyes sitting at the beginning of the snout. So, when a knee to the face was lined up, the man was instead going to be hitting the very end of the dragon's snout and his very massive and powerful jaws.

True enough, the man was fast, and Vince was momentarily unprepared with how fast the man was, so his first counter was something unexpected even from the dragon himself. When the dhampir launced his knee at the dragon's snout, the snout opened, the powerful jaws lined with massive teeth awaited the sweet flesh of the man's knee to enter. And then, of course, the knee made impact. Sure, it caused a lot of damage to his jaw, which stunned him and stopped him from slamming his jaws shut as he'd intended, but instead, the man's knee would ram directly into the rows of sharp teeth.

Now, true to expectations, when the baton came down to smash into the top of Vince's skull, it definitely stunned him. It caused a pained roar to escape the dragon's throat, but see, that was the glory of it all. The pain caused the dragon's jaw to snap shut, snap shut right around the knee that was in the mouth. This also caused the dragon's knees to buckle slightly, his eyes to blink shut quickly, and his grip on his sword was loosened and actually dropped. There was now a sword-less dragon, weakened by the impact of the initial jaw, and the snapping of the baton to his skull, but yet, he now had massive jaws closed around a very weak spot on a body.

Didn't matter if that body was human or not. The body was still the same either way, and a knee wasn't all that hard to break, to shatter, or to bust for that matter. Especially not when there were powerful dragon jaws closed right around the knee cap.

[Half-dragons, actually, are very powerful, but they're compacted. They don't look that big, nor do they weigh that much, but they are extremely powerful.]
PostPosted: Sun Jun 14, 2009 11:46 pm

Ouch. Well, it was more of a surprise then pain. Though Em knew the smell of his own blood all too well. It was only because he could smell his foes blood that he didn't panic.

With is baton shifting back from apparently not caving in the skull, he'd have little option due to the fact that the thing was clamping down on his knee with what teeth it still could.

Em focused on his vessel, allowing a charge of his 'vampiritic chi' to super power his next movement at something like thirty mph.

At this proximity no time would pass. As soon as the gravity shifted down, Em's surface exploded with manifest energy as he reached forward with his right hand while bringing up his other knee.

Simultaneously the affect would be aimed to send a line of force out of the side of the foe's head. That being simply air displacement of the energy itself traveling into, through, and out of the foes head.

Em had dealt with many foes in his time. And despite the fact that he would have to extend his damaged knee down, that pain was nothing in comparison to the satisfaction ringing off his opposite leg.

Hopefully that would set him down.

The crowd roared at the violence in any case. Sucking it up like a hooker with the shakes.
{*1 charge remaining/Expended 1=Lulsaucesaiyan powered movement-

That's not technical terminology, but you don't want the science of how chi based energy amplifies the physical body when focused on it}

((This fight was flagged by A Lickitung, so came to investigate.

I have two rulings.

First, turnipsan. After the complain given by Lickitung, I examined your posts. I can't get on you about the biting down on your knee, since you did include an iron skin ability for your character that lasts depending on how many charges you used. Therefore, your character's knee isn't destroyed as Lick wants, but I want to see some damage still done. That iron skin ability is mainly for damage reduction, not immunity, especially to biting. As for the other things complained, I rather not deal with them as they are more of a personal thing.

Now A Lickitung. This wasn't noted, but it's something I saw. In your profile, your character doesn't transform until three posts of charging. You transformed in two posts. Not only did you contradict what wasn't in your profile, you also broke a Power Charging move. Basically, your character cannot use their charged ability in the same post that they charge. You have to wait until the next post to execute the ability. Realize that it's going to cost you when judging comes.

Alright, you guys can continue as normal. Just realize, turnip, that your character's knee is being bit down on.))
PostPosted: Sat Jun 20, 2009 6:27 pm

{noted- though my post remains, I'm assuming that's a fair blow to loose the bite?

Beside that, it's his turn and he's taken alot of blunt force to the head, so go licki-
-why'd we wait a week for this verdict?-
-can I just pummel him and move on already-

Edit: -Will write damage in next post-}

[Well, I know where this problem arose. You made me change it from two charges to three and I totally forgot about it because I never got a changed profile back. Regardless of that fact, I'll accept whatever penalties arise from it.

Just used to using Vince in the Dark Tournament, I suppose.]

Regardless of the fact that Vince's teeth were broken, his blood mingling in with his opponents blood, and the obvious fact that he'd been getting his a** handed to him, he was not going to stop. When the knee smashed into the underside of the dragon's jaw, his head snapped backwards, the jaw snapping audibly. Blood poured from the side of the dragon's jaw as his head flew backwards, his mouth slightly ajar from the impact of the charged knee. Yet, this failed to stop the dragon.

True enough, it stunned him, but it didn't make him obsolete. When Emkay began falling backwards, Vince's arms lifted upwards to grip Emkay about the waist. Why would he do something like that? Well, it was rather simple. Emkay was falling backwards, and with the fact that his momentum was carrying him down, Vince would be able to utilize something very dangerous and hopefully something that would be able to end this fight.

Vince's hands came up to close around Emkay's waist, Emkay's momentum carried him backwards towards the ground. Basically, Vince intended to drive Emkay straight backwards onto his neck in a sort of power-bomb of sorts. After-all, Emkay was already up and was in Vince's jaw until it snapped backwards after being hit. The force of that hit connecting would also help to further Emkay's backward momentum towards the ground, and with the fact that Vince may be able to get his hands around Emkay's waist, well, it would be very simple to speed up the falling process and drive the dhampir right onto his neck.

Would it end the fight? Who knew. Not necessarily. Would it work? Probably not, oh well. Vince had to try something.

Aside from serious bruising, and four full on insertions of teeth above and below the knee, Em's ball and socket peices had physically been bruised on the upper and lower portions, and a few nice sized cracks were newly running along the thinner of the socket lining itself-

Lovely. Though from what he could gather was happening currently, he wouldn't have to extend the appendage as soon as previously thought.

Aside from that, he still had Hierro* coursing through his body, causing that 'over drive' affect for a good few seconds.
{*-technical terminology- and it lasts what? 4 seconds per charge was it vinctrict?}

Since the foe decided he was going to persue, Em was left with little choice from where he was, having dropped his baton in the scuffle and pain-

-CRACK-

Using the target himself for leverage and torque, Em jerked his right arm up by extending his body in the process, and brought the elbow down right between his foe's eyes with a forced jerky curl.

Clear energy drove the blow beyound normal standards; just as it had that previous knee-

Though to be fair, this contact would bruise Em's elbow and numb it from sheer density ratios colliding in such careless fashion.

Make no mistake; this was a desperate attempt at getting the ******** away from a very dangerous situation.

Even if it did work, any landing was going to be less then pretty for the officer. Still; that was no reason to land without falling the foe. Blood was blood, and the audience was screaming.

This is what Em was feeding on now. The energy of the crowd was driving him in some derranged preternatural hope. Though this shouldn't have been unexpected-

Put an energy vamp in a stadium, and see what happens..
Edit:
Oh, and if all went as planned, then sure, they'd hit the ground, Not as previously positioned, but sure enough Em on his back with the foe on top, or slid down a few inches; Whos to say when a foe has a noggin that stronggin.
{And Ho SNAP- I retain the charges for Hierro (steel skin technique rabloo whatever-) Too don't I?..AWWWWW..

-coming back to him- You should just post our profiles for us...so there's no forgetting or random accidental hacking. xp}

True enough, the elbow was a good plan, except for the fact that Vince's head had snapped back due to the force of the knee prior. Basically, when he went for the elbow, all he was getting a good shot of was Vince's snout, breaking the jaw farther on the top half, sending more and more blood gushing out of the dragon's face. Regardless, of this, however, Vince was able to see through the pain and the fading vision as each over-powered blow landed on his head. It was just lucky for him that he was being hit in places that broke and absorbed most of the blunt trauma which could have caused a TKO long ago.

So, following through with the motion, despite being elbowed right in the snout, Vince did indeed slam the dhampir onto the ground with a very loud slam. That's what the half-dragon was built for, after-all. Compacted strength; lacking in speed, but able to use his strength when most needed to clinch victory. Based on how the dhampir had moved, Vince's initial aim at slamming the dhamphir down on his neck wouldn't work, but slamming him down hard onto the ground onto his spine worked just as well. For a normal human slamming another human down when they were as large and powerful as Vince, the person being slammed would likely suffer very bad spinal injuries, in some case breaking their back.

Now, Vince didn't expect this to happen, because he knew that whatever it was he was facing was indeed much sturdier than a human was, and despite his super human strength, it still didn't compensate for it. In any case, being slammed onto your back from up high, roughly six and a half feet into the air because he was in Vince's mouth, it was safe to assume that the dhampir would be stunned for a few seconds. Those few seconds would be all it would take for Vince to move his hands off of the Dhampir's waist and lean over, pulling back his right fist in an attempt to brutally smash the Dhamphir's face in.
