Description: Unlike last year, the stone platform has been removed, making the entire ring nothing but a sandy ground. A twenty foot wall surrounds the ring to protect the audience in this open ceiling stadium. Field Measurements:Ring: 70 yard diameter Ten Count Boundary: As soon as a fighter enters the bleachers, the count begins. The flying rule remains, as well.

Gable entered the ring and trotted over towards the center. Just something about the middle was more comfortable, so that's where he went. Once there he sat down and stretched out his legs. His lips parted a bit and he whistled a little song.

Flashy entrance? No, he saw no point in making a scene upon his entry to the ring. He looked around at the emense number of people who lined the stands. He was slightly at awe at how many people came to view the blood and gore that was rumored to be let out in the tournament. Of course he was praying that the sand wouldnt be littered with too much of his, being that this was indeed that this was his first tourmanet. He sighed as his right hand lifted to touch the side of his hi-tech visor, the projection screen vanshin before he lifted the base orb from his ear and placing it in the pouch he had. He laughed slightly as he looked towards his opponent who seemed to be happily whistling in the middle of the arena. Staying a good four to five body lengths away from him he spoke. "Are you ready to get things started? If so feel free to sit or stand, whichever you feel more comfortable." Vash had already taken note of the arena and knew that he was indeed at a slight disadvantage. It certainly wasnt his "element" being that it was an arena of where grip would be a little difficult to come by, but he'd manage somehow.

"-Ready whenever you are." He paused in his whistling to face his opponent. His body rotated and he lifted himself up simply through balance and leg power. He stood in the middle still taking the air around and watching his opponent.

That was all he needed. With that note he removed his jacket and dropped it, along with the gymbag sized jug that he brought to the battle on his back in the sand. It was now that the pouch on his side as well as the blade at his hip were more apparent, not to mention the odd looking gauntlets that were upon his hands. They fit him like a glove and were not too weighty to him but if he made contact with them they would deffinatly hurt. Lifting his hands to a boxers guard, he moved forward, closing the distance between them quickly. As he came to an attacking range he squared his stance as his right hand shot forward to perform a quick jab that aimed to strike his opponent straight in the nose. A simple first move.

Gable smirked and watched as Vash dropped his equipment and began his 'charge'. They don't even exchange names? Eh well. By the time Vash 'charge had begun Gable was in stance and ready. When Vash's punch came towards him Gable would act. With a simple step to the left, a deflection and then attack. His left hand would go for an open palm slap on the back of Vash's punching hand as his body would step to his left(Gable). His left step would lead into a forward dash of sorts and send a right knee towards the stomach of Vash. It wasn't what he would normally do, but it was fine. It it worked it worked if not he'd move accordingly.

That was the reason for him centering his stance before he threw the punch. Normally one would continue with their forward motion in order to help power and speed up the attack, however he had thrown his fist from a stationary position and this would give him the ability to initiate a movement in which ever direction he wanted. Now as his fist was parried he would begin to move to counter his opponents counter. As the knee came towards his midsection, his left foot would slide as he turned his upper body to the side. This would allow his opponents knee to fly past him without any damage done. He would move his right leg shortly after this to position himself directly behind his opponent from where he would move both of his arms, sliding them under his opponents armpits on either side in an attempt to put his opponent into a full nelson (sp?) lock with his hands planted behind the neck of his opponent.

As his opponent rotated behind him Gable smiled and placed his right foot on the ground as he did so. This would be fun. This guy wasn't stupid. His arms were still in stance which would allow him to act quickly against the next attack. Vash's attack would have been more effective if Gable wasn't still in stance who he was. Since they were facing the same direction he would move accordingly.
With his feet planted Gable's left hand would come down on the man's wrist and forearm area catching it mid-scoop. As he caught the arm he would force it back downward over his now clinched and rising right arm, that would be under the Vash's arm at the elbow. With this counter Gable was attempting to break the man's right arm at the elbow by bending it backwards. Pulling the arm back would almost be out of the question due to the momentum needed to rush a full-nelson. To finish off his counter attack combo, Gable would lift and launch his right foot backwards towards Vash's right knee, just as his arms would move. Due to the increase in his strength thanks to Compound V Vash resisting Gable's push on his arm would be impossible. As for the knee, it would more than likely be popped out of the back of Vash's leg because of Gable's strength and the fact being that in order to do a full-nelson he would have to be grounded pretty well. The Compound V allowed Gable to lift 1200 lbs, which was more than enough to over power a person of normal strength.
Sum up: Gable's left arm is forcing Vash's right arm down. Gable's right arm is headed upward under Vash's at the elbow. This is bending the arm in two directions to attempt a bend in the wrong direction. Just as the bend is happening Gable's right left lifts and shoots back for Vash's grounded right knee, in a flat kick, attempting to force the knee to bend backwards and break as well. OOC: If ya need more clarification let me know.

Well, his opponent was right about one thing and that was that Vash wasnt a super strong human like he. But he was wrong about one thing. You needed to have a very strong base for the full nelson however, the full nelson hadnt even reached the half locked phase. Now a simple rule of physics, kenetics to be specific, would come into play at this moment. An object in motion will continue in motion until stopped by an opposing force. Vash's hand was met with an oposing force that halted its upwards momentum to turn it into a dowards one. Anyone who had a course in physics would know that the change isnt instant. There is a point at which, even if it is for a fraction of a moment, velocity equals zero before the downwards trend occurs and that could be used as notification to something going wrong. In this case there were two notifications, the clenching of his wrist and the downward momentum, and that as more than enough for Vash whose reaction time was far above normal humans.
As the clench occured Vash knew what was going to happen since there was only one effective and practical manuver from this position. To counter this Vash would lift his elbow outward (away from his body) and bend his arm inward at the moment his opponents right hand was lifting to catch behind his elbow. He also moved his body to the right as well, quickly shuffling his feet since he didnt have the time to execute a full movement to the right to aide in this manuver. This made the dangerous part of the equation slide through an empty space. His left arm was now rerouted to wrap around the unguarded waist of his opponent, reaching across to grap a pant strap, belt or even top of the pants for leverage before lifting his opponent. It would be that he would detour his opponents strike to his knee by simply moving before it happened. Successfully lifting his opponent he then used their combined weight and an easily executable forward lean to force him onto the ground. At this position arms of both parties would be pinned under combined weight hopefully with his opponent releasing his hand due in an attempt to brace himself for the fall.
Now, even if his arm was not free, it would not hinder his next course of action. The top of the jug that was no more than a few feet away would explode open at this point, a portion of its contents flying out. Now the contents of this jug was pure water that was harmless unless you tried to breath large portions of it in liquid form. However, under the control of an elementalist it could be extreemly dangerous. This water that left the jug quickly launched towards his opponents unguarded shoulders, forming two shards of sharp ice to impale him through his shoulders and hopefully render the use of his opponents arms useless.

However, under the control of an elementalist it could be extreemly dangerous. This water that left the jug quickly launched towards his opponents unguarded shoulders, forming two shards of sharp ice to impale him through his shoulders and hopefully render the use of his opponents arms useless. Though Vash had a good thought his maneuver wouldn't be possible. If Gable wasn't as strong as he was it would have been but to lift his elbow against the amount of force coming down on the front part of his arm would be impossible. The only thing that would come out of this would be the straining and possible pulling something in Vash's elbow before the break. With no bend his arm could not move forward causing the limb to still be broken but also strained at the elbow. Gable's assault on Vash's arm continued as Gable's right arm continued up and left left continued to pull Vash's downward, also by this time attempting to crush his bones under grip. Slamming hard into Vash's underarm Vash's shoulder would probably break but definitely pop of out its socket something crucial due to Gable's strength. As for the right foot of Gable after feeling nothing it placed onto the ground which occurred just as the shoulder assault did. With feet planted Gable would lean forward lifting Vash off the ground with leverage and strength and throwing the man across their battlefield, further away from where Vash had dropped his equipment. The water was a five bodies away from Gable meaning at average male height being 5'10" would be just short of 30 feet away from Gable would be around 40 from Vash, who should be in a world of pain. Any other actions Vash was attempting to do would more than likely be halted after the pain and shock that should flood his mind from the damages to his arm and the 'omg' shock of being thrown a feat of ten feet. By the time Vash was launched Gable was already back in stance and alert.

[Going off discussion yesterday]
Well something did pop but luckly there would be no break.
Vash eventually would be in shock after the initial pain of his shoulder being dislocated and his elbow being broken. "Holy s**t.." he thought to himself as he grimanced at his pain. He had been through worse in through, broken legs, broken ribs, shattered nearly being chrushed by boulders, but this was still a problem. Because of the failed counter he was unable to manipulat the water which was as good as it was bad for him. Good being that his opponent still wouldnt know that he could control the water, bad.... well, he missed a chance for an attack. Rather than laying down in the sand, thanks once again to his enhanced reaction time, he quickly rolled to his feet after recovering from his experience mid flight. Upon contacting with the ground he made sure to put his weight upon his right shoulder in such a fashion that it would relocate it. Upon standing two things occured. One was rather silent and that was the starting of a generator. Little did his opponent know but inside of his guantlets and blade were generators fashioned in such a way that they were very difficult to notice. These generators were activated by the turning of magnets through the use of small amounts of water within the encasing. In short he used his ability to control water to create hydroelectric power.
Now all of his generators would be working at this point, building a voltage charge with each passing moment. With the start of the guantlet generator one additional thing happened. They changed form.Quote: Static Gauntlets Form 2: There is only one notable difference is the form of the gauntlets and that is the extension of a tightly woven micro fibered armor. This microfiber is entwines thin yet strong pieces of L-wire and conductive metal with a rubber pad pressing against the skin along the way up....... As this material shot quickly up his arm, it tightly pressed against it on both sides, pushing his protruding bone back into the skin and then covering the skin with this material. Now several feet away with his eyes on his opponent he wouldnt attack, no, he needed to give a little time before he could use his right arm again, at least without too much extra aid. His ready stance was now a "dead arm stance." His body was turned sideways, right leg infront of left with his right arm dangling infront. His left hand already made its way to the pouch at his waist where it gripped at a few unknown objects to his opponent.

As the wires shot up his opponents arm his gaze tightened and his left hand would quickly draw the basic katana that was strapped to his back and hold it at his side with the tip pointing towards his opponent. The extension of the gauntlet seemed to be metal as they gauntlets were causing Gable brain to think for a moment. Possibilities: Control of metal..... Electronic gauntlets......nothing. He didn't really see control over metal doing something like that, maybe just coming up but moving the way it did also? Possibilities: Control of metal..... Electronic gauntlets......nothing. He'd be careful in his moves. As he thought his form moved as to not give the thrum in his opponent's shoulder time to relax. His sword was held up in a ready to slash position. Just as he entered the range of his katana(basic katana), Gable's left arm would swing in a sharp motion at the knee of his opponent whose name he was still unsure of... Seeing as this was only the first step of his rapid three attack chain he would continue. Just as the sword would be reaching the knee Gable's right foot would be launching for the right shoulder of his 'enemy'. The finally motion would come forward as his knee closed in to make contact. With the rotation of his body his right arm hung behind his back allowing it to grab the empty section of the katana from his left hand which had continued swinging to his right. Grasping the upper part of the tsuka the right arm of Gable simply stabbed forward towards his opponent's exposed hip(right hip). Before the stab was complete his leg of course was grounded to give him the ability to move just in case, but his combo only took seconds to complete. The point of the kick was to throw Vash back but also to damage his shoulder by forcing the already weakened into his collar bone, and more than likely causing at least some fracturing at the shoulder, as well as cause the lower arm which which was already being tugged at and weighted down by his gauntlet to be jerked and further tear his muscles, and other workings of his arm. After so much the limb would more than likely just fall off, an just to add injury to insult any fast movements Vash could take to dodge would only more pain to his elbow worsening damage even with the bone being splinted in, that type of damage needed screws to hold up. The stab for the hip was insurance. Even with his senses or agility there was no way all parts of the combo could be dodged, with the fractions of time between each move.
OOC:Can clarify if need be, but of course we discussed already, and the move is possible, tried it ealier a few times, and counted. It takes pretty much three seconds to do.

Well that was rather easy. His opponent came to him rather than him having to go to his opponent. Not to mention he came with a blade. Once again Vash's quick reaction time came into play. His eyes caught hint of the blade coming towards him and he acted accordingly. As the strike came towards him his left hand was poised and ready. Thrusting himself back he lifted his left hand from the pouch that was at his waist into the rushing man. Uncurling his balled fist, three small orbs were released into the air, all three undoubtably hitting the man, two at his chest and one at his neck, due to his rush towards him. Upon contact these orbs released their contents of an electric burst. Now everyone knows, well at least most people know, that it takes only one amp to kill a person.
Well, Vash wasnt the killing type so his attacks rather contained a level of a one amp charge even though it was possible for him to generate such a current. However, they did contain a high voltage charge. Now each orb that was thrown held a charge of 35,000 volts each with a charge of .03. This was infact the charge of a rather high powered taser. Now the purpose of this was not only to cause his opponent pain but to work like a taser. Upon contact it would disrupt his opponents body's ability to communicate with the muscles. Bareskin or through clothing, it would work the same.
Now upon the entering of the attack into his opponents body, he would find that his attack would be mute over his now utterly confused body. Not only would his entire body be in pain but he would lose the ability to control himself. Now shortly after the release of the orbs his left hand reached and grabbed his own blade from its sheath, holding it in a reverse fashion. He could feel the small vibrations emitting from his guantlets and blade as the charge continued to build. Soon, his opponent would be in for a rather shocking experience.
Falling to its side, the jug rolled closer to the battling pair.

While Vash's counter was cool and all could have worked quite well he reacted either too fast or too slow depending on how you looked at it. Because of his dash back and throw tactic, Gable's body would be twisting as Vash's arm would be lifting. Instead of flying and hitting their target's of Gable's chest and neck, by the time they traveled and then crossed the increased distance that Vash caused by his action Gable's body was already rotated and lowered causing the orbs to fly right past. Instead of the orbs exploding on Gable they would of course crash into the ground and explode. Vash was further back due to his dash and Gable hopped back and to the right as his combo ended. The new distance between the fighters would be around seven feet at the diagonal angle they would have to travel to hit each other.
Gable couldn't help but smile at the battle so far. He didn't want to use his other alteration and he would try hard not too. Holding katana out to the right and a downward angle he heard the thrum and electrical charge coming from Vash's direction. Electrical.... His greaves could help with that, but his neck actions were kind weird. Ripping the flap from the pocket on his left Gable began lacing the leather around his fingers exposed fingers between the second and third knuckle(closest to the hand.) but why was he doing this? The leather fingers that helped keep his gauntlets/forearm guards on were probably enough but was extra cushion needed? After his left hand would dive back into his pocket and rest their. "You're turn."
OOC: Put up the number of electro things and distance of the jug in your next post. Thanks.

((Okay. I read over the fight thus far, and also the chat that was done between you two. From what I can see, Gable is performing a combo move, that's for sure. And Vash is reacting to the first movement, which is the swing of the sword, so he is leaping back and flailing the three orbs of his. The exchange is won by Vash.
Reason being: Gable, your character is moving forward in a straight line, first slashing then kicking for his shoulder. No matter how much your body is twisting, your character's movements do not put him out of the way of this attack. Vash wasn't aiming his orbs, but he doesn't have to since he has enough to perform a wide-ranged attack. What I can call on is that the orbs won't exactly hit where Vash said in his post, preferably the neck. More than likely, the one orb that flew higher would actually hit Gable in the face, since he is arguing that his character lowered in position to where they fly past him.
So the conclusion: Gable's character is hit by the orbs: two in the chest, and one into the face. And thus, Desmond, you must redo your post accordingly.))
