Please remember that these new info threads are just for reference purposes! You don't have to read all of this. There are certain things you should read before jumping in, yes, but not all of it. If you feel you need to read up on something in particular, go ahead. And when it comes down to it, you'll know when to read certain things (for example, when we enter a new area, or when you get a new special item or something). But don't stress yourself thinking you have to read all this. I know it is A LOT to read. Don't wanna overload anyone. ^_^


This particular info thread is not as important as most of the others, really. Just information that you'll need in certain situations, particularly in events dealing with NPC's.....And it actually WILL be important if you want to volunteer to play any of the supporting characters.

But, for the most part, this thread is only for reference, for instance, if we come across a supporting character in the RP and you don't know about him/her, you can come here to look up any info we have on said person. Et cetera et cetera......

Ziekden

Ziekden is a band of thieves who are based in a secret hideout in the city of Gabbiani. There are now seven members; there were many more, but they have all died. Such is the sorrow of life for the poor and needy...


Balthasar:
Male, 45 years old.
A powerful assassin and the founder and leader of Ziekden. He takes care of the other members, all of whom he considers to be his "adopted children", and he secretly mourns the passing of all of his lost friends. He doesn't talk much about his own past, but he sure as hell can talk a lot about everything else if you make him satisfied and comfortable enough. How do you get him satisfied and comfortable? Easy: buy him plenty of booze.

Clyde:
Male, 32 years old.
Balthasar's oldest and most trusted companion. A fearless rogue with plenty of skills, and more than happy to use them on anyone who gets in his way. No one knows exactly where he's from...he never tells. As a matter of fact, he hardly ever speaks at all, unless he feels it's necessary.

Darill:
Female, 23 years old.
A sly gambler who joined Ziekden when she was still a small child. She was an orphan - her parents were murdered - and she had nowhere to go, so Balthasar and his gang took her in. Nowadays, she is one of the best in the group, and is in no way intimidated by being surrounded by men - in fact, she could take on most of them and win. She is an expert engineer, and can fix almost anything. She designed Ziekden's ship, the Starlet, by herself, and did most of the work building it.

Abel:
Male, 22 years old.
A young bard skilled at making music. His skills often allow the band of thieves to pass along with the ruse of being a group of performers. He is often a very cheery fellow, and has no trouble speaking his mind, although that sometimes gets him into trouble. His best friend is his stage partner, Ilyana.

Ilyana:
Female, 21 years old.
A beautiful dancer who often performs on-stage with Abel. She was raised by a band of traveling gypsies, who were fortunate enough to come across Balthasar and his band. Through the kindness of his heart (which he doesn't often show), Balthasar allowed them all to stay and live with him when they had nowhere else to go. Unfortunately, most of them died after years of being hunted down. Ilyana, Abel, and Elise were the only survivors, and they decided to remain with Ziekden to the end.




Others:


Blank:
Male, 18 years old.
A young man who joined the Amorian army just before the rebellion began. He quickly followed the example of his General, and joined the rebel forces in hopes of making a difference for his homeland. He is very unsure of himself, having very little combat experience, but he is always ready to try his best.


Fallyn:
Male, 34 years old.
A brigand and mercenary who has a bad history with the Ziekden group. Rumor has it he is now in the employ of someone very wealthy and powerful in some country apart from Tribal; though what exactly his current job is, is anyone's guess....

International/Traveling NPC's



Elise:
Female, 41 years old.
An old gypsy woman who takes care of the band. She is very kind and wise, and helps out however she can, although she cannot fight. She likes to play instruments and sing. Tal and the other younger members of the band affectionately call her "Mama".


Mognet:

Artemicion:
A young moogle who works in the Tribal Mognet center. He constantly keeps his fur dyed violet, for some reason he refuses to explain to anyone. Apparently he just loves the color.

King Kavu Rivaz:
Male, 40 years old.
Appearance: The rounded edges of his broad shoulder bulge slightly out of the sides of his dark green cloak. His shirt is one shade lighter than his cloak and it is neatly tucked into his royal guard trousers. His belt flashes with trendy jewels, as if a child had bedazzled it. A b*****d sword hangs securely in, an also bedazzled, sheath. Black boots lace perfectly under his pants, which stop properly at his ankles. He wears his crown, which was slightly damaged from a previous war. His hair is off red, resembling almost an orange. His eyes are a dark blue, scratching the surface of a dull black.
Bio: Although this king appears casual, he is almost exactly opposite. At the age of twenty four, one year before the traditional passing of the crown, his father, the benevolent King Gordon was slain. He spent the next year fending off the neighboring country of Lydia. After a major victory in Erindis, Lydia surrendered. This caused a major following to occur and a new found love for Gabbiani’s monarchy. The king slowly brought the nation back to prosperity, leading one of the world’s most skilled armies and defense systems. He is a fair king, but does not take kindly to insults or to threats. He is a stoic man, showing no more emotion to a crisis than a celebration.




Prince Zak Rivaz:
Male, 15 years old
Appearance: His long crimson hair drops down to the middle of his back, his black pupils peering out from under the tips of his banes. He wears the same cloak of his lineage, but his shoulders hide comfortably behind it. A scimitar rest in a rather plain sheath on his back. The knife on his hip, which he found in a small shop in Rosa, sparkles blue, as if the victim would freeze internally. He dresses very plain, so wrapped up in training that he rarely changes.
Bio: As a child, he was shown no attention. His parents were always away, and although all of the servants watched over him, he never felt loved...
Zak has, since his early childhood, been fascinated with talk of swordplay and grand battles. He took up the sword at an early age, and eventually grew to appreciate a vast array of weapons. Although he is always ready for a fight, and loves any chance to show off his military prowess, he isn't the type to cause needless violence; and neither does he tolerate it...

People of Palazzo



King Astinos:

A middle-aged man; he took the crown late in life, when his brother, the original heir, died in battle. He has no heirs to carry on his line, and his wife passed away many years ago. Always known as a sturdy, trustworthy, and courageous man, the king has recently fallen ill, and has been confined to bed rest for the past few months. Most of the people of Amoria are concerned for their king, as he is known as a wise, kind, and courteous ruler.



General Adelbert:
Male
Status: Deceased

One of the most experienced generals from the Amorian army, and now the leader of the rebel force within the city's tunnels. A brave man who deeply cares for all his soldiers, and who values his homeland more than anything...even his own life, as was proven in the final battle of the Amorian Rebellion. He lost his life fighting for his country at the age of 31, in the deep, dark caverns of the Thousand-Year Wall.
