Kher walked into the room specially designed for one-on-one sparring matches. The room was empty, save for the wide array of equipment laid across the various forms of terrain.

"I wish he would arrive on time like he said he would..." Kher sighed. His regular sparring partner, Moruchi, was always late for the matches, and it made him frustrated. He took out a fairly thick, though small in size, book and began to read, awaiting his opponent.

Kher sighed and placed a bookmark where he left off. "Maybe if you weren't late you would notice the trap I placed where you are standing."

The flooring where Moruchi was standing sank, and it triggered a trap that sent needle-like projectiles in every direction except where Kher was sitting. The flooring sank and splintered, trapping Moruchi's feet, keeping him in place.

(yknow, it'd be nice if you described what Amaterasu does, that way I know what I can do to react with it XD)

Where Moruchi thought Kher was was only a punching bag with a poorly drawn face resembling Kher's.

"Well, naturally I should've seen that coming, so I did" Kher formed a series of handsigns and said "Wrath of Waves: Water Tunnel!"

All of a sudden a flood of water spilled out of the water terrain and rose in a cyclone around Moruchi, trapping him.

"I don't think you realize how uneffective fireballs are against me. Waterfall Technique!"

A gush of water fell in a wall on all sides of Kher, protecting him against the fire. he didn't expect, however, the aftermath of the fireballs, and he was pelted with small, stonelike objects.

"Ugh, should've seen that coming... Nevermind that, though. Clear Water!"

Kher disappeared, and the water seemed to be calm and quiet. Nothing moved.

Kher chuckled softly as his plan worked. "He doesn't suspect that he's fallen into my Genjutsu... Now then, to prepare for my attack."

He takes a scroll from his side and forms another series of handsigns. "Summon: Giant Naga!" A giant naga starts to rise out of the water. Moruchi is unaware of this.

"Now when he realizes his folly and clears the genjutsu, he will be faced with a monster"

Kher ordered the naga to attack with all of its force. It smashed into his opponent with webbed claws and bit ferociously at the tails.

Meanwhile, Kher was devising a plan. "With his raised chakra levels, he could probably withstand any genjutsu I throw at him..."

(can chakra be used as a projectile like that? meh, I'll count it)

Kher flew across the water, landing face first at the other end of the terrain. He started sinking slightly into the rippling watter. Then he got to his feet and wiped the water from his face.

"Ok, here we go. Clockwork!" Time slowed down everywhere. Droplets of water seemed to float. Kher took out his kunai, needle projectiles, and random pieces of splintered wood. He approached the time-slowed Moruchi and began to pierce the limbs with the weapons, careful not to cause too much damage (since it is a spar). For comic affect, Kher took a marker and drew random scribbles over his opponent's face.

Kher placed a bookmark where he left off and said "You took the training a little too hard, so I ended it pretty quickly. Glad to see you're awake. You should be better in a day or so. I do believe I can call myself the victor in this one eh?" Kher playfully added.
