Introduction

Hey all, welcome to Bohemia, a romance/relationship based RP set in a fictional district of New York. Unlike most RPs which tend to focus on quests, protagonists, antagonists and the usual plot buildup, this RP will focus on the relationships between characters and how they interact. This means NO big evil company, NO damsel in distress stuck in a castle somewhere, and NO mysterious illness affecting everyone inside the city. This is a real world RP.

The nature of this RP requires more character depth than character buildup throughout the story. So please, have a well thought out character with (hopefully) a unique personality.

Woah... wait, though. If theres no plot to follow, then what are you supposed to RP? Simple. Make your own. When building your character, give him/her a problem that they need help to fix. Drugs, family relationships, gangs, midlife crisis, etc. The list goes on forever. Remember, this RP will need interesting characters to work.

Now as for the actual location of Bohemia... Bohemia is a large, growing bohemian(duh) district inside New York City. It's cramped and crowded, but its a megacenter for the creative types. It's full of small bars, pubs, nightclubs, shopping and residential sections. All in all, it's all of New York City in one place.

As for actual landmarks, parks, bars, etc. I'll leave you to create the buildings and their environments. Have fun.

Rules

1 ) I am God, clichè... but true.
2 ) Follow WoL and in turn Gaia rules and terms of service, especially regarding cybering!
3 ) All character application PMs must be titled "bohobella".
4 ) Keep OOC to a minimum. You may be asked to delete an OOC post.
5 ) NO GODMODDING*
6 ) Please alert me if you are going to be absent for a while.
7 ) Keep this RP below an NC-17 level. "R" Allowed for language only.
8 ) Unless you can prove you are the artist of the picture, no pictures may be used for character description.
9 ) No magic, other than simple card tricks and illusions... hence the "realistic" RP...
10 ) This is a NO CONSENT* character building RP... please look below for information.

*Allow me to define Godmodding, and No Consent for you all.

No Consent: Alright, within this RP, I have a no consent policy to creating your characters. This means that any character, made by anyone can have ANY relationship with any existing character made by someone else, without consent of both parties to make such a relationship. IE: I can say my character knows your character, and that he hates your character, or that they at least know each other.

HOWEVER! The "no consent" rule does not apply for characters wanting to have deep romantic relationships, blood relationships (siblings) or two way relationships, (they BOTH hate each other) without consent of both parties...

To recap... I can have my character hate yours, but I can't say that my character hates yours, and your character hates mine, unless I ask for your permission.

Godmodding: Godmodding in this RP is assuming that any character (not your own) does anything without express permission from the characters creator. If you say that a character rolls her eyes, but the owner of that character says that she wouldn't do that, then the post must be voided, and rewritten to exclude the action.
