Zuri had followed Nazar quite a long ways from the pridelands it seemed they were coming up near a jungle just as he had said. It also looked rather interesting her ears perked forward slightly. "Is that the jungle?"
She asked trying not to seem too cub like. Even though this was the first time she'd ever seen anything like a Jungle. Her tail flickered as she waited for an answer.
Nazar looked around the area that they were heading too. When she was sleeping he had taken a trip in here to check it out, see what it was like and if it was safe. As far as he could tell it was, but it triggered some of his memories making him annoyed already. he tried to ignore most of what he was thikning about but it was infact very hard to.
Nazar looked back at her for a moment before nodding. "Yeah it is." He smiled to her, it was a bit of a broken smile but it was still nice. "There is a watering hole not that far in here."

Zuri looked at him curiously with a brow lofted. "You okay?" She asked as she followed him not pressing for any details but only if he felt alright having seen the broken smile. Occasionally his habits started to worry her and she wondered if it was something to do with her.
Nazar looked at her before looking down at his paws as he walked. "A little bit." He shook his head before looking at her again. "No worries it has nothing to do with you." He said as if reading her mind, he didn't want her to think the wrong thing. "Old memories coming back to haunt me." He coughed slightly before nodding. "Almost there follow the path that I make." He said before walking through some of the bushes in front of them
Zuri trotted along behind him nodding before he disappeared into the brush.

Nazar looked back once more before sighing again lowering his head so he could move some of the bushes down easier. A sigh escaping his throat. "Here we are." He said with a small chuckle escaping his throat. He looked out at what was before him before looking back at her. "Jungle lakes are always so beautiful." He chuckled before he moved toward the water leaning down and lapping up some of the cool water and laying down in front of it. He closed his eyes for a moment trying to cool off and ingore his memories once more but it was hard.. very hard.
Zuri shook her coat out once she got through the bushes it was very odd having walked through such leafy green thngs. She nibbled at a place on her shoulder. "It is beautiful" She said gawking at the lake as she walked up to it to take a drink of the water laying down near Nazar. Her tail flickered. "It's also a bit cooler than the pridelands or any of the land we've traveled too. Though..." She said trailing off for a second, "It seems a bit more humid."

Nazar chuckled softly nuzzling her softly before looking at her as she joined him by the water. He flicked his tail so it landed in the water then chuckled half heartedly. "It rains a lot here. So the air cools down.. But because of the water left in the air from the rain it gets humid." He chuckled again before looking around, he was infact a smart lion, learning things like that from his old friend, crazy Cheetah it was but it was also smart.
She nodded softly seeming to think, "I see." Her tail flickered taking a paw and splashing a small bit of water towards him but not on him since she knew he hated rain. "Atleast, there's enough trees to hide from the rain" She said with a smile and a chuckle tail flickering.
Nazar looked at her smiling softly. He laughed softly as he splashed a little water at her too before resting his head on his paws then rolling over on his back getting closer to her. "Aye agreed." He said with a little less enthusiasm than normal."

She didn't roll over however she peered into his eyes looking slightly worried but also the same time curious. She nudged him softly, "Nothings really hurting you is it?" She tilted her head one ear perked up and the other rested on her skull.
She was worried about him but she really didn't want to push him to say anything, "If you'd rather I can leave you to rest and be in peace if you need it."
Nazar sighed softly as he looked up at the trees above him. "don't leave." He said quickly in responce. "I... Had a hard past, I don't have that many to talk to about it." He sighed softly before shaking his head a bit.
"Would you be up for a bit of a story?" He asked looking at her for a moment before back up at the sky. "You have to understand that I've changed though. I can control myself a lot easier than before." He said he didn't want to scare her away he really did get along with her.

She sat down looking at him, "I'll listen and I don't judge on one's past." She said her tail flickering softly watching him.
"Why do you think I'm looking for my mother?"
Nazar chuckled softly and nodded to her. "Good point you have there." He said before he flicked the hair out of his eyes. "Well I used to live in a pride. I was born to the nanny... And well I heard that she was raped by a crazy rouge, I wasn't that sure if that part was true but it had to explain part of whats wrong with me... When me and my brother were younger I had a mate, she was going to have cubs and well I was happy.."
His voice trailed for a moment trying to shake the memory but it was harder when hew as talking about it. "Well when she gave birth they looked more like him. Very much like him, and she admitted to it..." He looked down at his paws. "I didn't remember most of it but I ended up killing the cubs and my brother... Then left the pride. I've killed a few others... I think. When I fight I black out..." He sighed looking down at his paws.

Her ears perked as she listened to him with a lofted brow. Her tail flicking she seemed to frown slightly as she thought about it. "Hum, it seems we all have odd pasts." After a while.
Nazar sighed softly before looking at her with a smile. "Thank you for putting up with me and sticking aorund, you really are a sweetheart." He chuckled before looking up at the sky. "I really don't like hurting others, and that why I move around a lot, I try to advoid conflict, and its also how I'm used to moving." He sighed but then laughe.d "I'm getting better at controling myself though." He leaned over and smiled at her, leaning a little more into her gently.
Zuri nuzzled him softly and sighed, "If you're trying to control it at the very least it shows you've learned more about yourself and that's something to feel proud about."
She nosed him softly before licking his cheek. "Must be hard putting up with memories like those though."

Nazar chuckled softly before smiling softly. "I am pretty proud of it. Thank you for understanding and not running." He chukled softly before he closed his eyes for a moment and purring as she licked his cheek. "It is... I see my brother some times and it just freaks me out." He shook his head. "I don't want to be like that Thats why I don't stay with others much." He laughed slightly.
"Your a good friend though." He looked at her with a smile.
She smilled softly and chuckled, "I try" she said with a soft nod. She looked out over the water and laid down beside him and resting her head on his chest. "It sure is pretty here."
Nazar smiled softly before nodding to her. "That it is, I wish everywhere was this pretty... This nice. That would be awesome." He closed his eyes for a moment enjoying the breese and also enjoying the peace that was coming over him. He was jsut starting to relax

She chuckled softly nuzzling him softly, "I wonder if we could take some of it with us." Her tail flickered in thought.
"I wonder what other places are as pretty as this."
Nazar chuckled before nodding toward her. "it would be awesome if we could." He winked at her for a moment before purring at the nuzzle. "There are a few other places just as nice as this. A lot of them are in your mind though." He laughed softly before closing his eyes again
She looked at him and smiled before curling up beside him. "Places like where? Larger bodies of water?" She asked again curious.
He'd sparked her interest against saying if they could and she wished that there was some way, wondering if someone knew of a way possibly to take a little peice of the jungle with them.

Nazar chuckled slightly before looking around. "Jungles like this. Places just as nice. There are so many places all with different scenes about them and they are all amazing." H looked at her with a wide grin
Zuri looked across the jungle with star struck eyes. "I'd love to see them all, maybe something with sand and water that's not quite a desert with an osasis." She looked at Nazar, "There is such a thing right?" Her ears were perch forward excited and star stuck much like a cub would be durning a bed time story.
Nazar looked at her then nodded with a small chuckle. "Some what like that. They are a little harder to find and most of them just have rivers through them A lot of them end up dry most of the time. But the one that I heard of is near firekin lands. I wouldn't want to put you in that danger." He glanced at her for a moment before chuckling softly.

She shook her head for a second, "No something larger than an osasis or a pond." She said looking around, "Something sorta like this but it looks like there's no end to it. Like the Pridelands occasionally seems to apper to be."
Her tail flickered as she sat up and was trying to demonstrate with her paws as well. "Like an endless watering hole." She said with a nod.
Nazar looked at her then shrugged slightly. "I don't know it rains anywhere near hot places like that." He looked at her before chuckling. "But I do know of a place like that kinda... It isn't a desert. Its hot though." He chuckled before grinning at her. "The ocean is kinda like that. I heard it ends but I'm not sure... It'd be stupid to try to get over it. Very deep water after a while." He sighed
Zuri looked at him her tail flickered, "Can we head that way when we start moving again?" She asked curiously looking at him still she could've been a cub with eyes as wide and star-struck as hers were. "I'd really love to see it, I've never seen anything like that.
Nazar looked at her with a small chuckle before nodding. "I don't see why not." He grinned at her again before closing his eyes once more. "For now, lets just enjoy what we have here." He chuckled softly.
Zuri nodded softly, "Okay." She yawned and laid back down.
