It was just past noon and Taichi had woken to find himself cold and...alone? He rubbed his face against his forearms trying to wake up from stay up later the night before playing with his mate. He grumped a little as he stood up moving to the small pound that was just past their tree. He greedily drank for several minutes till a interesting smell caught his attention someone was coming close...someone that did not smell of him or Yamato.
Pushing past some trees, a striped leopardess looked around. Somehow, her brother had managed to give her the slip, at least for now. He was probably off moping somewhere about having to face the colony. As she paused to sniff the air, Sayen frowned. She smelled somebody... Was it a lion, cheetah, leopard... Or another species all together?

Taichi with a big goofy smile on his face move off to meet the person of the smell. He smiled when he noticed the leopardess coming out of the brush. He moved over to her moving into a playful stance his front lowered to the ground as his a** shook a little with the wave of his tail.
"Hello!" He told her as he watched her closely before seeing her tears. His ear flattened against his head as his body lowered to meet the ground as he crawled closer to her.
"Hey...what's wrong you can tell me yah know." He said softly trying to coax the female in to talking to him.
Black ears flicking forward, the leopardess blinked. "What...? Oh, nothing's wrong, I'm just trying to find my brother..." She scrunched her nose, trying to think of how to describe Mkorogo. "He's... Big, kind of like a lion... And he's got wild, bright colored hair..." She made a few motions, as if they'd help convey the description.
"Oh, and he says foul words a lot, like s**t, ********, and damn!"

Taichi tilted his head a moment before he began to laugh a little shaking his head. "Only one I know to say those things is my Yama." He said with a proud nod. "And I'm pretty sure he's not your brother." He said with a goofy smile moving a paw to ruffle his hair.
"I'll keep an eye out though. I'm sure the world not to big...or wait maybe it is." He said with a small pout. He usual was a big mess when Yama wasn't around to make sure he was floating ff into space or staring at it. Taichi the smiled as he got up as he began to return back to where he lived.
"Com'er you look tired. There a small little pound you can drink from and I can get us somethen to eat I was just about to anyways and I always share my food but Yama's not here so it just go to waste." He said as he looked around more as if his mate would suddenly appear.
Following the male, Sayen's ears lifted. "You talk a lot, you know that...? You're very hyper..." Looking about, she smiled. "This place is lovely..." She looked at the male, smiling to him. "And it's a very big world out there! Nava says there's very different places across the big waters, where water turns solid when it gets cold enough, and trees sleep in the cool months..."

He listened to the female as he laughed a little rubbing his head again. "Yah think so? Heh Yama says he likes my voice I guess I just kinda got used to talking is all." He said as he looked around a moment.
"I used to only think what I could see before me was what was left of the world and nothing more. But when I had to run after Yama...to many times to count I leanred there where other place's. Speaking of which I wounder where he ran off too." He hummed a moment before blinking.
"Oh yeah!! food!!" He yelled out before running off before sprint back. "I'll be right back!" He yelled before running off again.
Sitting down, Sayen watched the male. So hyper, so full of energy... So a kindred spirit! As she settled, she wondered about just who Yamato was. Was he lion? Another leopard? A cheetah? Other? Glancing around, she wondered how big he was, and if he was anywhere near by. What if he was jealous-protective of the brown-haired male?

Taichi wasn't gone to long he came back pulling a large bore be one of the hind legs. He grunted and heaved the hole way look like a cute little cub that was tugging one something to heavy. Finally he got to where he needed to be as he flopped down before the leopardess breathing heavily. "Okay..you...get first half." He said before resting his head against his paws.
"I'm outta shape." He whined softly. "I told Yama I needed to go running...but no stay with me he says." He whined softly.
Watching him pull the boar, Sayen went over. "Wow, you got that on your own? You've got good strength!" Patting his shoulder with a paw, she offered him a smile. "Maybe you should hunt something smaller, though. Like rabbits, or... Um..." She thought a moment, brow furrowed. "Small antelope?"

He laughed shaking his head smiling. "Why what would be the fun in getting some small that doesn't appease a growing male that has to feed his mate too?" he said with a goofy smile as he took several deep breaths before moving over to drink some more water letting her tare into the bore and eat her fill before he got the left over like usual he didn't mind he was never a picky eater.
Sayen looked at the boar, then the male. It wouldn't be polite to refuse... She ate what she could, leaving the male some choice parts before she went over. "I don't think I caught your name..." She offered a smile, licking a bit of blood from her maw. "I'm Sayen!"

"Taichi." He said with a smile giving her poilte bow before her tore into the bare giving it no chance to escape like it would though being a lump of flesh, bone, blood, and organs.
Sayen watched, then smiled. "You're a very nice leopard, Taichi. Do you and Yamato have a home...?" She paused, thinking. "Come to think of it, what IS Yamato...?" There was no questioning about who Yamato was to Taichi. It wasn't her place to question his lifestyle, after all. If both were leopards, all the better!

He stopped eating giving a small burp and excusing himself as he washed off his maw before looking to her laughing a little. "Your standing in our home and he's a leopard just like me." He said proudly as he thought a moment. "Think he's off looking for that one cheetah girl though. She blind and stumbled onto us not to long ago think he's helping her home." He said nodding.
He was helping a cheetah home... That was sweet! But he was also a leopard! "This is your home?" She looked around, taking it in again. "Not like my home... But everybody has different homes, don't they?" She smiled again, tail curling. "My home's full of temple ruins, and lots of tall trees, a river... Hippos... Gorillas..."

"Cool!!" He said as he began to push the remainder of the food out of his home to where a small cliff was dropping of over the side not long after a loud splash was hared. He chuckled as he looked over the edge.
"Yes...yes eat my pets!" He yelled ut seeing the crock before fir over the dead bore piece.
"I think me and Yama have passed by there a few times though we've not one big on big groups of people we like each other and that's it."
The leopardess watched, peeking over the cliff curiously. Crocs... It sent a shiver up her spine, but she knew those were the least of her worries in a river. Moving back and away, she looked at Taichi. "That's okay, some folks are better alone or in small groups. You'd probably feel claustrophobic even in the Usafi."

He laughed a little shaking his head. "Not me Yama he...well he likes me and only me at his side no one else." He said chuckling. "Don't worry thought your fine you come in peace yah know." He said smiling as he leade her back to his home.
Sayen nodded, smiling. When they reached the location again, she paused. "I should get going, I still need to find my brother. I hope he didn't get cold paws about visiting home.." She bowed her head, smiling happily. "It was pleasant to talk to you, Taichi! I hope we run into each other again!" Turning, she trotted away, ears up and a bounce in her step. Oh, yes, she'd found a kindred spirit!
"Haha see yah Sayen!" He yelled out after her smiling brightly. "She was interesting nothing like my Yama though." He said thinking of the smaller male leopard before pouting and moving to sulk under their tree.
