Who is your favorite one-episode character? That is, which character that appeared in only one episode is your favorite?

Mine is Banakafalata from Voyage of the Damned.

I'm assuming you aren't counting 2-parters as 'one episode'.

Sooo.. probably Sally Sparrow from Blink --she's technically been inside the Tardis, does that make her a companion?

Also, Mme de Pompadour goes for best historical companion. Even though she's never been in/seen the Tardis. xd Shakespeare is pretty awesome, though.

Funny thing is, I was just thinking about Branigan today. He makes me happy inside.

Mr. Copper From Voyage of the Damned !

Oooh. I liked Mr. Copper.

He had a seemingly minor/comic relief character, but we still liked him, and near the end of Season 4, we get one line about the computer system being funded by the "Mr. Copper Foundation" (or something like that).

So he turns out to be a pretty epic character.

His name will probably be the next Bad Wold/Torchwood/Vote Saxon/Rose's face thing to watch out for.

BUT we're going to have a new writer so we don't know if he's going to use that plot device.

I liked the Tree Lady, even if she tried to get in the Doctor's pants (in England, pants means underwear, so it's even funnier)

My favorite character from Genesis was Davros's Nazi henchman, Nyder. Him, and the giant clam that tried to eat Harry Sullivan.
