I fell through the ceiling today at work, I was helping some people move some beds around and missed my step up in the atic. its a rather odd sensation to suddenly be falling and not realize why, the sudden stop at the end sucks though. luckily I didnt fall all the way through the 2x4 rafter broke my fall (and possibly my hip xp ) but I am doing ok now, just feeling stupid.

ya, I think my hip will be ok, its a bit swolen and sore right now but it should heal. as for being a fatty... lets see you stand on a ceiling tile and not fall through, those things are about as tough as wet paper.

Why were you on ceiling tiles in the attic moving beds?

The hotel got some new beds to replace the ones in the guest rooms so the staff got some of the old beds from the guest rooms and the old staff beds had to go into storage, since we had no where else to put them we moved them into the attic.

You said you broke through the ceiling though. ceiling/roof are interchangable should you be failing through, no? k, now I get it.

actually ceiling and roof are not interchangeable. the roof is the part of the building that is exposed to the weather, if I had fallen through the roof I would have been in real trouble since its sheet metal. the ceiling is under the roof and seperates the attic from the rest of the building. either way I still hurt myself and looked like an idiot with my leg dangling into a guest room xp

Alex, I thought the worst part would be the mockery which leads up to the shame.

Nah. The mockery is like getting a cut. The shame is like the sand in the cut.
