I'm sure the answer is yes, but how come one such as I with such a excellent Immune system, can't kill off something as simple as acne? I clean my face three times, sometimes even four times a day. I don't have bad acne, just moderate, use to have it on my chest, back and parts of my arms, but its gone away without evening treating it. Or is acne not something the immune system even thinks is a invader and ignores it? Cause isn't acne some sort of bacteria? Or is it always just a Gene thing(Cause a few members of my family have a history of it)
NOTE: I found out Zinc is a important mineral for the Immune system to help fight acne and other vitamins such as A, B and C. So if I were to start taking these once in awhile and eat and drink right, think I should see a dramatic improvement within a week?

Ive always imagined that acne was a mind thing that if you thought about it then you got it but if you didnt then you wouldnt get it. Seemed to have worked for me.
>o> Maybe im just that one person with the super powers to fight it, i dunno. -uses mind powers to win money-

If I remember right, acne is clogged pores. They get clogged from dirt and oil that accumulate on your face and parts of your body. Whereas your immune system is more in tune with fighting off germs and diseases in your body, and not used so much for keeping it clean.
Actually, over-cleaning your face can make acne worse. Too much oil on your face is bad, but over-cleaning strips your skin of natural oils which it needs, and forces it to produce more, which can lead to an over-production of oil. I think I've heard it's ok to clean twice a day max, but that anything more could be overdoing it.

Nikolita If I remember right, acne is clogged pores. They get clogged from dirt and oil that accumulate on your face and parts of your body. Whereas your immune system is more in tune with fighting off germs and diseases in your body, and not used so much for keeping it clean. The problem starts with a clogged pore. But then the immune system gets involved. That white stuff in pimples is pus, which is something your immune system throws in there to try clean the pore out. So it's sort of your immune system's fault that you get those big pus filled pimples in the first place. But without an immune system you'd probably be walking around with huge blackheads in every pore because they'd never really get cleaned out. So I guess a good immune system would fight off the bacteria and push out the gunk from a pimple faster. So you might still get the same amount of pimples, but they'd go away faster if you have a good immune system. And maybe they wouldn't get as big either if your immune system was able to fight them off easier. Nikolita Actually, over-cleaning your face can make acne worse. I have to wash it twice a day, and even then it gets very oily a couple of hours later. But in between washes dabbing with cotton or those tissue paper strips can help.

My bad, I stand corrected. Thanks Lorien! I've always had a really good immune system, but I had bad acne when I was in my teens. It's better now, but it still gets really oily. I have some paper strips from Japan with green tea in them, so I'll use those occasionally.
