]The night was young, the sky was a purple glittered with stars, some brighter than others. A smile came onto a young mare's lips, she loved the night, she loved the sky, and space. What was out there really? who was to know? It was another ones of life's questions, so many they where.
Her black voids scanned the area it was peaceful, there was a gentle breeze which stroked the grass little glowing insects where flying everywhere. It was a beautiful sight. Then again these lands where always beautiful to Terentia at least. She spread her wings and stretched flicking her hair before regaining her usual composure. She was always a big nut about posture.
She heard something, she turned to look behind her. Her ribbon giving a light glow as always, it kept her in the light even in the dark. "Hello?" She asked squinting to try and see a figure in the darkness. She tilted her head not in fear but in wonder.

An insect bit her on the shoulder and Kairo pinned her ears as she swatted the insect away with her tail. Taking in a deep breath and a heavy sigh, she put her nose once more to the earth. The grass tickled her nostrils with the sway of the gentle, nighttime wind.
At least today it was quiet and dark. The wind was not too fast or too chilling; Kairo could mostly in peace and by the far she was alone.
It was a horrible situation that had presented itself to her of late. There had been Soquili everywhere. They tried to laugh with her, some laughed at her, one had taken a nice chunk out of her hind. The wound was still healing over.
One crazy sod had even tried to suck her blood! It was only natural when she went walking that she was at utmost caution for fear of running into another such beast. Inwardly, she cursed herself, but outwardly she remained calm. Only her eyes told of her worry. With swiveling ears and furrowed brows she made her way through the grass that began to dew.
It was then she heard the light call out into the distance. She raised her head to catch the glimpse of a gentle glow. Well that was. . . bizarre. Bizaree was most certainly the word. What in this world now was not bizarre, however?
With her interest perked, she took a step forwards and raised her head to its height before taking another. Glowing ribbon was a first. Definitely.
Surveying the mare with a cocked eyebrow, she tilted her own head and dropped it down to the level of her chest. "Hi," she said. The word was drawn out and uncertain. The look she gave was that of finding the other mare suspicious.
Her ears went behind her to try and catch any encroaching sound; there was nothing. Eventually she lifted her head once more. "I don't believe we've met." And that was the lame way that Kairo started the introductions.

"No we have not, although that can soon change, good evening my name is Terentia, it is very nice to meet you." Terentia smiled her voice calm and welcoming as it usually was. She tilted her head to look at the other mare who had soon come into sight. She was such a beautiful colour. She loved the naturally patterned creatures this land seemed to bring out. To her there was nothing more beautiful than nature.
She walked and stepped closer to the mare, her movements graceful and delicate. Her feet feather trailing the ground, grass stuck to her long fur, it was something she had to live with although she hated the thought of dirt in anyway. She was a clean mare after all and liked to look presentable especially to a new face, first impressions where always a big.
"Who are you may I ask?" She questioned in a attempt to get to know the mare, Terentia was not shy, in fact she was very forward and direct. She knew the other mare was nothing to fear. She could feel it in her heart.
