(Whatever one needs filling) Love Interest: None currently but certainly an option Personality: Emile is a quiet, reserved individual he does have aloof tendencies which has a nasty habit of pushing people away. Past all that there is a very noble spirit and a bit of a goof ball who has a soft spot for dogs and wolves. Bio: A recently arrival of the area, Emile spent most of his life on the move and a short time ashore to the U.S. which explains him being older than most seniors, although some tend to think he is a trouble student. Emile, though, is not a legitimate child of Ryan Kalar, a retired U.S. Marine who was stationed in Japan. His original name was Yasu Tsubasa. He was adopted as soon as he was born and ironically enough at the same time Ryan’s biological son was born, but still born. How the Kalar’s adopted Emile was that Emile’s biological father was that Emile’s biological mother was not financially stable to raise Emile and with that both agreed on an open adoption. At first his biological mother kept constant tabs but slowly degraded until all communications stopped. He was only told recently that he was adopted, though refuses to believe it. His family life with the Kalar’s was close knit and he was not the only child. He had an old brother, Lyon, who was 13 years older. Lyon went back to the U.S. and enlisted. Dispite the distance the two were close and during his infrequent visits Lyon taught Emile quite a bit. Mainly about fighting, shooting, and any odd things he had learned. It went like this until the family got note that his brother perished in combat near the end of his middle school career. The Kalar family went back state side to mourn the passing of Lyon. During this time Emile was almost entirely isolated that was until he came across a sick and deserted wolf cub. With an unknown conviction he took the cub back and nursed it to health. The two formed an unique bond over their time together the cub was actively aware of Emile’s emotions and would act in a way that mirrored that or would try to improve Emile’s emotions. There were a few accounts of the wolf trying to follow Emile in to school while he was temporarily in the U.S. school system. Two weeks before Emile left back for Japan he stumbled across something he should of not. He and his wolf cub, who he eventually named Edge, were wandering on a Saturday evening a few hours before sun set. Both came on a sight of a man who, from what Emile could guess, was trying to kidnap a woman. The moral compass in Emile’s mind went off and he blindly charged in attempting to do something about it although that quickly ended up with Emile on the ground with a gun to his head. Just when he thought he would be joining his brother Edge leaped out from nowhere and latched on to the arm of the kidnapper allowing Emile and the victim to break free. While the woman ran away Emile stopped to watch the assailant take the gun and shoot the wolf in the chest causing it to flail off the arm and on to the ground. Although the perpetrator was free he did not seem to worry about Emile rather he just ran out of sight. Emile ran over and tried to stop the bleeding with a scarf he happened to be wearing but, that did not do any good as the wolf whimpered quietly and licked Emile’s hand before closing its eyes. Emile took his four legged friend deeper in to the woods to lay him to rest only memory of it is a blood stained scarf. Emile returned to Japan but, his time in the U.S. threw off his grade standing. So Emile typically stayed an older student in the classes which was received with a good deal of suspicion and topped with the fact Emile stayed quiet a good deal of rumors circulated about him. Just before Emile’s move to Inaba, Emile stumbled documents that supported a hidden thought of him behind adopted. Though its face constantly changes, this reflects different combat styles and his identity conflict. Blood also drips off his hands endlessly. It mocks the contradiction of his noble ideals and his natural violent side which he tries to suppress. Once the fight starts the body on the ground will turn in to a wolf. Shadow World: The area will look like a cluttered city with a mix of classic Japanese’s style buildings and Western style. The clutter will open up to a large forest where his shadow will be waiting in a clearing with what looks like to be a body on the ground. Because of his Lawyer upbringing, Miles will often speak in Court and Law related terms, even when off the job, a habit he really just can't control. When off the job, Miles tends to be more sullen and alone, he had very few friends growing up, and basically none now, as he puts all his attention to his job where he has made nothing but rivals. When approached, Miles will often try to push people away, even more so if he deems them unintelligent. However, Miles will slowly warm up over time, but due to his social upbringing, Miles often doesn't even the basics of how to interact on a friendly level. Bio: Miles was born into an affluent American-Japanese mixed family and as such learned both English and Japanese and is considered fluent in both, though it is clear he is American when speaking Japanese due to his accent. Mile's father was a Defense Attorney in the States and Miles dreamed of following in his father's footsteps. However tragedy struck and his father was murdered by a man he had defended in court. This event forever changed Mile's life, his how view changed and now he deemed that all criminals would be punished, as he sought to become a prosecutor. Mile's was extremely intelligent and graduated from Harvard Law at the mere age of 18. He spent one year practicing Law before coming over to Japan to become a prosecutor for the Osaka High Court. After a sting of court victories that nearly cost some higher ups their job, it was decided to let Miles have some 'Time-off' by sending him to investigate the events in Inaba. Mile's has authority to work with the local police and aid in their investigation, he may be privy to any new findings the police might obtain. Mile's has had it arranged for him to be a transfer to the Senior class at Yasogami, though he will be about a year older than most of the students. Miles did this in part to further the investigation but also because he never knew what it was like to have school friends. He only made the few friends he had before the tragic incident, and they had gone their separate ways, keeping touch by phone. Mile's has sworn o discover the truth in Inaba, whatever that maybe. Once the ice is broken, it easy to realize she is one hell of an odd person, with a knack for getting into dangerously fun things and for some reason, people can't seem to stay away from her for long. She smart and calculating, but is also incredibly lazy, a fact that over powers all others. Bio: Lára was born in the small town of Grindavík, Iceland. Her parents were the owner of a small resort that's main feature was the natural hot springs found there. Though it was as prosperous as the main attraction of the town, the Blue Lagoon Spa, they still brought in a decent sum of money each year. Not long after she started attending school did her parents realize something was off in their daughter. The school would often call them, telling them that Lára wasn't reactive in class, with any of her teachers or her classmates. She was always off in her own little world, but yet, when her teachers drilled her with the most difficult tests and questions, she could answer them as if she had been paying attention all along. The school didn't know how to react, they advised the Jökull's to have their daughter further analyzed. So the testing began, and the he results would lead to years and years of further tests. Lára's IQ was much higher then children her age. When they were just figuring out how to read, she was already plowing through books, much higher then her accepted reading level. When other children could barely spell cat, she had the vocabulary of fourth grader. And when they were struggling with addition, she was flying through long division. Her teachers hated her because she made their jobs difficult and the other children hated her for being better then them. Before her schooling experience even really, truly began, she already was a social outcast and misfit. In eighth grade Lára changed schools. Her parents decided that all her potential was being wasted at such a small school, she needed something bigger, better, and more challenging. But unbeknownst to her parents, she had made a promise to herself. She wasn't going to be that kid that nobody liked any more. At her new school, she was going to have friends, people were going to like her and she didn't care if she had to pretend to be stupid. Things seemed to be going great for her. She talked to people at her new school and found that, given the chance, people actually liked her, a lot. Lára acted like everyone else and that's when her academic problems started. She still aced testes, that was never going to change, but projects and homeworks started to slip. She just couldn't be bothered in actually doing them. Of course, there were certain things that caught her interest, Japanese was one of those things. When she actually cared about something, she did everything in her power to learn about it. By tenth grade, Lára was fluent in the language and doing everything she could do to learn about the culture. Eleventh grade is when Lára's life really became a roller coster ride. Her class, more so her teacher, had been assigned to help teach a college student working towards become a high school teacher. To her luck, he was half Japanese and had actually lived in Japan for a good portion of his life. This, of course, drew Lára to him and it wasn't long until they had formed an unnaturally strong bond. They spent all the time they could in the library after school, huddled together and talking about anything and everything Japan. But after a while, the two hours the library provided wasn't enough for them. Their relations took a large leap when he invited her to his quarters one night after they had gotten kicked out of the library. It wasn't long after this that things turned intimate and despite how wrong it was, Lára continued it because she was happy with him. But, like most good things based in bad places, it came crashing down. Her friends had begun to worry about her. They wondered what she was doing with all her time and after the first month they no longer believed that she was receiving extra help because she was failing. They began to investigate and soon they were uncovering her secret love affair. They were shocked to find out, but had no idea how to react. Eventually the confronted Lára, telling her if she didn't end it herself, they would. She didn't think they would have the guts to out her, but unfortunately, she was wrong. When she didn't end it, they went to the principle and told him everything, proof included. The school, obviously, didn't want the informations to get leaked and ruin their reputations. So they gave him a new school assignment and kicked Lára out of school, without marking on her transcript why. She, of course, wasn't going to go silently. She swore she would go to the press and tell them everything if they didn't help her get into a transfer student program in Japan. The school was displeased, but they did what she asked nonetheless. At first she was supposed to go to school in Tokyo, but large cities never impressed the Icelandic girl and she soon talked them out of sending her there, which is how she ended up in Inaba. As for the future, she just wants to get through her last year of high school uneventfully, but knowing her luck, that isn't going to happen. Bio:Her Father was from Inaba,her mother from America and she was seven years old .when they died she was shipped off to live with her aunt and uncle in Inaba but they are never at home or are always asleep when she is around so they do not know the things she had to face while alone growing up with them on her tenth birthday a neighbor was babysitting her she thought he was a nice man but he hurt her tortured her she barely got out when she tried to tell her family they did not believe her so she began to shut others out she dropped ballet and such cutting her hair shorter and began to learn how to survive and defend herself by age fifteen she was skipping school avoiding people all together the times she was in a fight it was always protecting some one smaller from someone then she was hurt a second time a woman was being assaulted one afternoon mugged for her wallet so Fiona tried to defend her .it was a set up the woman shot Fiona making her pass out when she woke up it was four days later she laid in a hospital bed with stitches and pain the doctor explained the bullet had lodged into her collar bone but she would live .after that she defended only kids . However, his excessive silence and brilliance often comes off as him seeming like he is better than the people around him, when in all honestly, he either doesn't care enough to talk, or just doesn't want to. His greatest psychological weakness is his incredible curiosity and that he is often lost in thought. Bio: Cryus was originally from Tatsumi Port, and spent most of his 18 years of life there. Tatsumi Port was a mixed bag for Cryus, for one, his childhood there was a great and cherished thing to him, however his teenage years was a far different story. He had a fair amount of friends as a child, but as they grew older, and closer to teens his friends thinned out into their different roles, and one of his best friends ended up disappearing without much of a trace other than rumors that were left floating around. And without much of a place to be anymore, he kind of withdrew from the crowds and kids, and sadly, that made him a prime target to be picked on. Before he knew it, he was pretty much on his own, just reading books to pass the time and attending class. Once rumors about his great grades started going around, most people began to assume that he thought he was better than them, and to a lot of people, that was a challenge. So with that, he was constantly pushed around, and fought. While not winning any fights he did become slightly agile and he could dodge a lot of hits, but that only made up for some of his frailty. As his 18th birthday approached he worked as hard as he could to raise up enough money to catch a ride to somewhere, anywhere else. While Tatsumi Port held his childhood memories, it also held his current hell. And with that, he picked a place where his little money could take and house him, Inaba. Bio: When Victoria was a little girl she wanted desperately to be a famed singer just as her mother was. At the age of fourteen she was sang alongside her mother, but she refrained from anything serious. Her father also played an important role in her life. He served in the U.S. military as soon as he graduated from high school, and went for a carrier in it. Being so close with her father she was devastated when they received news that he was killed in an incident while on duty. Due to the terrible news Victoria’s mother had a nervous breakdown which resulted in her becoming ill and ending her singing carrier for an unforeseeable length of time. Victoria took her father’s death well according to others, she stayed calm and apparently in control of herself but she also was suffering. Due to the various memories and emotions that Victoria and her mother felt around their home and feeling that the U.S. had failed them, Victoria’s mother packed up everything, took her daughter, and moved to a different country where the haunting memories might finally leave them alone. This took them to the seemingly quiet town of Inaba, where Victoria’s mother had stayed during one of her tours; more so she had stayed at the Amagi Inn. Victoria had met and become friends with the young daughter named Yukiko. While Victoria just wants to move on with her life, her mother’s health is constantly on edge and sometimes the memories find a way to sneak up on them. Though the truth is that while Victoria is resentful for her father leaving and her mother becoming despondent, she wants to move on and forget the pain but keep the memories of the good times with her. When the shadow becomes enraged she transforms into a tall woman holding up a mask with various eyes and a camouflage print to her face. Her hair is large and long and turns into demon serpents at the ends. She sits on a large stone pedestal. She also wears a large gown with a skirt comprised of many puffy layers of cloth. On her feet she wears thigh high boots with unbelievably high heels. Belts of heavy Ammunition circle around her and even act as its own entity in battle. Throughout her enraged state she hits extremely high notes when struck physically and laughs when struck by magic and pierce-like physical attacks. Every now and then she moves the mask out of her face allowing a view of her featureless face, maybe if she was hit while she was exposed... Shadow World: Victoria’s world would be called “The Bombarded Opera”. It is an enormous opera house with winding hallways and several floors which, as you go further in, look like the walls are decaying and bleeding flesh. The place also looks like it’s about to fall apart and looks to be the victim of extreme areal bombings. There are two floors above ground but there are basement levels which the group will need to travel past due to blockage. Of course when one reaches the end they enter a gigantic, titanic sized open stage. There are crimson curtains and heavy lighting which would cause one to sweet under them. The hat trick is applying himself to his studies. Most times, he is rather apathetic towards school, and in doing so has gained some pretty bad personality traits. Bio: Kei was born an raised in Inaba. A bright child, he excelled in his younger years, resulting in his getting moved up a grade at two different instances. Thus, he was ten when he began seventh grade, and his personal downfall (so his parents and teachers believe) began. The constant teasing wore on his nerves, and the few times he tried to stand up for himself, he got his a** handed to him when he was ganged up on. This culminated to Kaede’s attempting suicide one night, though his hanging body was quickly found and he was rushed to the hospital. His parents decided to take him out of school for a while, and he rejoined school life at thirteen, in eighth grade this time. The two years changed him, however. No longer was he a shy but intelligent child, but a loudmouthed and seemingly stupid young man. In truth, Kei figured downplaying his gifts and intelligence would keep him off people’s radar. The reality of that belief was that he was on even more radars than before, and the troubling behavior escalated. His once stellar grades slipped quickly, and a former top-of-the-class floated down around the bottom. Nothing anyone did could get him to change his behavior, however. While his parents were at the ends of their proverbial ropes over his grades, Kei was careful to keep other parts of his life as secret as possible. His delinquent habits had resulted in many uncouth friends, and several dangerous and illegal hobbies. She took a year off from school to help her parents with moving and getting settled, working part time to make sure they had enough money for eveything. They moved because her father couldn't stand the crowding in the city they used to live in. Her father is a writer, and her mother works various odd jobs. She loves her mother very much, but has a pretty poor opinion of her father, and most guys in general. Watching how hard her mother has to work to support her 'good-for-nothing' dad has made Tsuki very skeptical of all men. She doesn't take school very seriously, although, if she applied herself, she could pass with flying colors. Arcana: Moon Persona Name: The Oneiroi, the greek gods of dreams. Three male angels side by side, the far right (facing them) with black wings, the far left with white, and the middle with one white and one black. The Oneiroi, by individual name, are Phobetor, in charge of bad dreams, Phantasos, in charge of good dreams, and Morpheus, in charge of keeping balance. Shadow: A tall, feminine figure split down the middle into black and white halves. The black half would sport a black demonic wing and the while an angelic one. When speaking, each half would display a different personality, the black being overtly aggressive and rude, while the white would be passive aggressive and 'compliment' enemies on their failings. It represents what Tsuki feels as her dual nature, but also that she feels like she can't be nice, ergo the cruelty, in different forms, from both halves. Shadow World: Twisted Paradise. In Tsuki's world, everything is black, white, or shades of gray. It looks like a sort of resort/beach town that was nice, once upon a time, but has been ruined and destroyed. It represents Tsuki's view of herself, that she used to be a good, nice person, but now she has become twisted and broken. Age: eighteen Appearance: School: Yasogami High Grade: Senior Homeroom: 3-3 Love Interest: Off the meds, she's as antisocial as it gets...so no, not really Personality: When she on her meds she doesn't really have much of a personality at all. They really turn her into a lifeless vegetable of a person, who moves though day to day activities without really registering anything. When she's not on the meds, she still doesn't socialize, but at least then she has a working brain and mind of her own...well if the voices aren't talking that is. She often acts paranoid, rather bizarre, and reacts to social situations in the wrong way. Bio: Katsue never was your normal child. She had multiple "imaginary friends", but unlike other children, she never out grew those friends. At the age of eight or so her parents were getting sick of her excuse "that the voices told her to do." They told her it was time to grow up, imaginary friends weren't real and that is was about time she realized that and started to make real, living friends. The problem was that, she really did hear voices and they didn't go away. Katsue quickly realized that it was best to keep that fact to herself. As she grew up, she kept to herself most of the time, not trusting real people because the voices told her that they weren't honest, they would lie and hurt her. Every since she was little, she had seen things. Things other people told her weren't there. Around the same time that her parents told her to grow up, she started to sketch these things. At first, they were just dismissed as odd things children do, but when she was in fifth grade Katsue was sent to the principle for drawing a snake biting someone in her class in half. It was around this time that she decided that, much like the voices, it was best to keep the things she saw to herself. Her parents decided that maybe if she had a hobby it would help her. So they enrolled Katsue in dances classes and she fell in love. She had never been so dedicated to something before. She loved the way she felt when she was dancing, so free and weightless. But she grew, and the toll of the voices and visions, plus the physical strain of dancing were starting to get to her. The competition in dance became more intense, demanding more hours and her body to perfect. Dancers were required to be a certain weight, which meant her meals were small and very calculated. She entered high school and things just plummeted even more. With the amount of time she put into dance and then homework, she barely had time to sleep let alone eat. It was around half way through ninth grade when the voices took malicious turn. They began to whisper dark, dirty things to her. Katsue tried her hardest to keep from doing them, but she eventually gave in. All the way through the second half of ninth grade, long scars disfigured her body, mostly her ribs and hip bones. Nobody noticed. She started to change for dance in the bathroom stale instead of the main room, to hide both her skeletal figure and her marred body. Things would have continued this way if she had not fainted during dance recital at the end of the summer, right before the start of tenth grade. She was rushed to the hospital after coming to and vomiting nonstop for the next few hours, a sure sign of the concussion. It was there everything unfolded, partially at least. They found she was underweight and they saw the scars. Katsue's parents were hysterical, they didn't know how to deal with this. They took the hospital's advice and stuck her in mental ward, only they still didn't know about the voices, so she was admitted under anorexia and attempted suicide. She takes them, only because that's what her drugged out brain thinks she should do, but that could easily be influenced, either by her medicine magically disappearing or her pills be replaced placebos. The throne room is through one of those opening in the wall, which leads to the hospital room where she stayed on and off for years. The shadow waits, propped up on the bed.
