As the sun began to set, the ray of sunlight moved around the tree to hit a particularly green pae in the face, waking her up. She yawned slightly before opening those emerald eyes behind curls of fire, looking up at the pink and blue sky above. What happened? She sat up, lightly rubbing her back. Thats right. She went on a walk and decided to take a power nap. Where was she anyway? This area of the woods was unfamiliar to her. She rubbed the back of her neck and stood. Her father was going to be so pissed at her...

Rais was returning from his trip out of Laisidhiel. He needed to go back to his familiar grounds. This place wasn't right. He grumbled a bit to himself as he walked. The other pae had been so rude and had the gall to call him an a**? What did they think they were acting like?
Rais continued his walk as he thought about the faun. Was it really a good idea to let them be in this place? Would it be better than the last time? He wasn't sure, but he wasn't about to pry the baby faun away from the demon, how would that have looked? He wasn't making any friends...not that Rais really cared about things like that.
Rais heard a sound and turned to see a teen demon. More demons? This isle was crawling with them, where were the naiads? The other ancients? He sighed as he shook his head and kept on walking, he didn't need anymore reminders of why the faun had been in hiding for so long.

Calling Cressida a demonic was like saying a toad was a large frog. Though the female wasn't aware of the others thoughts in the slightest. The mutant stood, catching the disinterested glance of the other pae. And as much as it galled her, she headed straight in his direction. She hated flying. Other pae might see her. "YO! Pony-tail boy! Which ways the fastest way out to Headquart-WOAH! Are those hooves?!" She quickened her pace, trying to catch up with the increasingly odd male."

Rais shook his head as the girl was now following him and in fact talking to him. "I don't know this Headquarters you speak of." He didn't really know all the Isle main spots yet. He just knew the tree and that was where he was heading.
Rais stopped and turned to the teen. "Why, yes these are hooves. I'm Chieftain Rais of the Faun." He stood a little taller as he spoke of his title and rank. "And you are?" Maybe he could redeem himself and try and be polite to this demon...this odd demon.

She stopped when he did, completely ignoring the fact that she was now officially lost. She was much more interested in the way the other looked. A tail...antlers...hooves? Her antenne twitched slightly in curiosity. "What the hell is a Faun? Some sort of clan?" He probably was a mutant baby like herself, aunt malloren and uncle yuki. "I'm...Shageki." Yes, that was her older brothers name. But it wasn't like it sounded like a male name. Besides, it wasn't like she was actually going to give her real name to this wack-job.

Rais sighed and took a deep breath. "Faun is a kind of pae'il. An ancient race of pae'il actually." He looked at her and wondered why she looked so odd for a demon. "What about you, Shageki? Why do you have clovers growing out of you?" He didn't hate it, it was a natural look and he loved nature.

"...rrriiiggghhhttt." Like she'd actually believe that she stumbled upon some ancient pae'il race which no one had ever heard of before. She wasn't born yesterday. "...Its...a sign of power." He wanted to spin lies? So could she. The female shook her head, making her fiery red curls glisten in the fading light. "I'm the pae of luck. One of the few demonics to be the embodiment of an element." Cressida, or Shageki, spoke in a slightly holier-than-thou tone to match her high 'status'. "I single-handedly rule over the throws of good and bad luck." If she wasn't used to telling these tall tale fibs, she'd probably be rolling already on the ground in a fit of laughter.

Rais sighed, he didn't have time for this. "I need to get back to my home." He knew she was lying and would call her on it, but as he already thought, he didn't have time to stand here with her.
"You can come with, if you must." He wasn't sure why he invited her. Maybe he was still thinking on how to make amends from his first encounter with demonic pae'il.

"I might follow you. Depending if your home is the way out of this forest." She sighed, reaching up to rub the back of her head. "My fathers going to be pissed if I don't get home shortly after nightfall." That much was the truth.

"My home is in Laisidhiel and yes it is out of this forest." He started walking and did really wait to see if she was coming with. Maybe he invited her to show off his home, becuase it was the most beautiful place on the Isle. "You can go whenever you wish." He said to her home by nightfall comment.

She was following all right. Didn't have to tell her twice. At the face of her fathers wrath...The female practically walked side by side with the odd pae. "Are there other mutants like you?"

"If by mutants you mean Fauns, yes." She was irritating him, but at the same time he didn't mind. "The Fauns are a peaceful breed of pae'il who adore nature." He thought he may brag about his kind a little bit.

"Right right, 'fauns'." She spoke dryly. He was her ticket out of here. Best to just humor the wack-job. "I have an aunt actually that would love to meet you. She loves nature." To eat mainly. Thats what cats did after all right? Eat meat? He looked awfully like a deer. And Malloren looked awfully like a cat.

"Yes, Fauns." Why was this girl having such trouble with the word. He ignored her tone and kept walking, they would be and the beautiful tree soon. "Oh really? Who is your Aunt now?"

"Malloren." She hadn't actually met Malloren yet. Or any of her family really besides her immediate. But she had heard she was a mean and vicious thing. Someone to look up to. "I have quite a few aunts actually."
