This is a debate over the best band from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal era. Its the battle of the Brits between The Number of the Beast themselves, Iron Maiden, and the self proclaimed Metal Gods, Judas Priest. Who is emerge when the smoke clears? Will it be Iron Maiden, or will it be Judas Priest? Cast your votes and discuss.

I'm gonna "up the irons" on this one. Iron Maiden is just amazing in every song. Their guitar work is just brilliant. They are amazing in every aspect of music. Iron Maiden got my vote.

I kinda like Iron Maiden, but I really don't care for Judas Priest.
So I'm gonna go with Iron Maiden.

Judas Priest has a more solid discography, whereas everything Iron Maiden released from 1982 - 1998 was very average. However Bruce and Paul are far better vocalists than Rob.
Imma go Iron Maiden, if only for their first two albums. dramallama
