Rosalind was in a good mood; her sister, Dmitrria, had come home to live with her and her father and grandfather, finally, which left Oliver and Will to dote upon her and totally ignore Rosalind... it was a positive change of scenery. So positive, in fact, that Rosalind had managed to sneak away from their home unnoticed for a stroll in the meadow.
Summer heat had left some of the grass brittle and dead, but there had been just enough rain to keep most of it alive and healthy. Bumblebees flew about lazily, landing on the tiny pink and blue flowers that dotted the meadow and sitting there for a few moments before continuing along their way. A few grasshoppers jumped about as well, stirred by Rosalind's hooves passing over them.
What a lovely day, she thought to herself. So... peaceful. Her long curly mane rolled gently in the wind, her earrings clinking as she flicked her ears back and forth, listening for even the slightest sound. But there was nothing; peaceful calm.

Blitz's violet eyes where a blaze. They had a type of spark in them today that normally he ignored lately. But today, he decided to put his loneliness behind him. He had run into his friend as of late which made him feel less alone. Now, now was the time to be a trouble maker once again. He skipped and danced across the forest. Happy to feel the freedom of being let lose from his lonely mental state. Today was certainly a beautiful day indeed.
As he came closer to the meadow, a strange scent was upon the air. Another Soquili? It smelt very feminine, though to his knowledge it could of just been a very feminine male. His curiosity peaked, the young stallion boldly trudged on. His thick tall frame came bounding out from the thicket of the woods, and to his surprise, there she was. Another Soquili, though he had suspected as much, it still shocked him to actually find another so close to where he was. His ears went back and he snorted as he came to a hault. Not more than 10 strides away from the female.

A scent wafted up to Rosalind's nose from not too far off, and she froze in her place. Before she could really think, the stallion was less than ten yards away from her, his ears laid back and looking menacing. But, in her blissful, peaceful state, she wasn't frightened.
"Oh, lay off, mate," she said casually, raising a brow. "I'm not going to hurt you, little fella." She grinned at him, tossing her long mane into the wind and continuing on her way.
After a few paces, she stopped, turning back to the stallion. "Did you actually think I was some sort of threat, then?" she asked, astonished. She laughed a little. "Or am I just paranoid and mistaken?"

c**k eyed he turned his head with a great winded breath and simply said, "Little? That's a lot coming from a shrimp like you."
Though Blitz may had been relaxed and care free before. One thing that bothered him was when he was called little. He had only recently Blossomed into the stallion standing there today. Unusually small for his age when he was younger. But now he had grown and towered over most of those who once towered over him. Looking back to the mare he gave a small smile before his tongue lashed out once again.
" Threat you say... Well i think your paranoid little miss. After all i wasn't actually expecting another to be here. Though i suppose there's no reason another wouldn't be here."
He looked about the mare. Expecting the little things about her. Like how her ears seemed to have metal in them like his mothers. Or how she had swirls on her tan and white coat. He dipped his head lightly as a greeting gesture of some sort, though it was a little late for that.
" I suppose i should say hello rather than mentally terrorize you. So. Hello"

Rosalind kept her brow raised, keeping her gaze on the stallion and a smile on your lips. "Oh, because you're so terrifying," she said sarcastically, laughing a little as she took a step toward the stallion.
Okay, so she had to admit, seeing anyone out here would have surprised her, and he absolutely did... but she didn't let it show. She prided herself in being flirtateous and witty, and she'd be damned if she let just some stallion mess that up for her.
"I'm Rosalind," she said after a moment, admiring the stars on the stallion's back and the black lines around his eyes, making them pop. She tossed her mane back behind her again, her forelock resting in her eyes. This was fun; she rather liked this stallion already, as he could take her crap and not be totally offended or broken by it. Win.

" Ohh but i am" With a flick of his tongue he too entered in the little dance she seemed to be trying to pull on him. " I can see it in your eyes".
He felt like he was prey at this moment for some reason, but he knew he wouldnt go down without a fight. He always thought.. knew he was smarter then all the others he had run into. And was rather cocky about it, though he let it show in a smooth way. A slip here, a flick there. And away his mouth would go. He wasnt going to lose to a mare, no sirey. And at this moment her sarcasm reminded him of Istas. One of the only mares that seemed to have some sort of wit about her. He smiled.
" Pleasure Rosalind. Im Blitzkrieg, you may call me Blitz". As The mare looked over him, his eyes caught her's looking over his body, then to his eyes. He smirked and decided to have some fun with what she had just done. Though he knew she probably didnt mean it in the way he was about to take it.
" My my my, miss. We just met and your eying me up like im a side dish to your most indecent of thoughts. You know, its not very considerate to do that. I mean im a tender 'little' boy remember? But for all you know, behind the sheep could lie some sick and twisted cereal rapist ,come to take advantage of a young mare by herself in a field"

Rosalind looked Blitz up and down shamelessly now, a little too obvious than she would've usually liked. But hey, she thought the stallion was laying it on pretty thick; might as well up the ante.
"Do your worst," she said without missing a beat, teasing him slightly and winking at him. She trusted her instinct that he wouldn't hurt her, as she usually had a pretty good eye for that sort of Soquili. She wasn't worried in the slightest.
"So, mister serial rapist, what are you doing way out here by yourself?" she asked, her tail flicking from side to side and her posture relaxing into one she usually reserved for napping beneath the blossoming fruit trees by where she grew up. "Hunting for much older prey, I presume?"
Rosalind patted herself on the back mentally. Most of the time, when she tried to lay it on thick, she failed miserably. But now... oh ho ho, this was too easy. And she enjoyed every flirtateous second of it.

Blitz didnt see this as flirting, and was completely oblivious to the other mares intention as she did every movement. But what he did see this as was a game. More of a battle of wits. But he smiled none the less. He Flickered his mane, stood proudly and simple said, " You wouldnt be able to handle my worst."
Again he listened, and soon his ears flickered. He thought his answer out very carefully, in only a matter of seconds. " To hunt of coarse... But no in all seriousness. I just wonder. Thats why im here. And yourself?"
How delightful it was seeming. To be able to talk to another that was. Blitz had all sorts of luck running into soquili recently. It was only now that he realized they where all seeming to be female. He wondered why that was, but not for too long. As soon as she spoke he snapped out of his thoughts and shook his head.
" Ohh no, dont you see, my preys always young, and fresh. Old Prey is so ... prudent." He was of coarse joking, just wanting to see her reaction. Looking around the area, he relaxed a little more. Not sensing any immediate danger around them at this moment.

Rosalind stared at the stallion for a moment. Yeah, joking and flirting and having a battle of wits was fun and all, but really... there was only so far she could go without getting a little antsy.
"I'm here to get away from my sister, dad, and granddad," she said after a moment. "My sister just came home, and the rest of my family has been freaking out nonstop since she showed up. It's downright annoying," she added, laughing a little.
"And what do you mean, 'old prey?'" she asked, raising her eyebrow again, getting back into her joking mood. "Are you every cougar mare's dream stallion? Are you trying to snag yourself a hot little number to show all of the old hags that you can actually do it?" She chuckled, flicking her mane out of her face and shifting her weight slightly. Teasing Blitz was too fun, too easy. She loved it.
